Weiter kennt man eine Leisteneckverkleidung, bei welcher der Eckverbinder als mehrteiliges Bauteil mit einer Abdeckkappe und einem Kappenträger ausgebildet ist. Der Kappenträger wird im Eckbereich zwischen den beiden Leistenenden auf der jeweiligen Verlegefläche der Leisten befestigt und die Abdeckkappe auf den Kappenträger aufgesetzt (vgl. DE 299 04 754 U ).
Weiterhin ist es bekannt, Kunststoffformteile als Eckverbinder dergestalt zu verwenden, dass sie vor der Montage der Leisten auf die Leistenenden aufgesteckt und dann zusammen mit den Leisten montiert werden.
Im Übrigen ist aus der FR 2 028 583 A1 bzw. der DE 6 901 915 eine Leisteneckverkleidung für Fußleisten mit Innenecken und Außenecken bekannt, die jeweils Deckwände und Rückwände sowie Stützrippen aufweisen, wobei sich zwischen den Stützrippen und Deckwänden ein Spalt zur Aufnahme der Deckleiste einer Fußleiste befindet.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Leisteneckverkleidung zu schaffen, die nicht nur einfach und kostengünstig hergestellt werden kann, sondern insbesondere eine schnelle und exakte Montage ermöglicht sowie auch in ästhetischer Hinsicht allen Anforderungen genügt.

Die Erfindung geht dabei von der Erkenntnis aus, dass sich auf einfache Weise Leisteneckverkleidungen auch bei gehrungsfrei geschnittenen Leisten schaffen lassen, wenn mit einem einstückig ausgebildeten Formteil als Eckverbinder gearbeitet wird, wobei dieses Formteil kraftschlüssig mit einem oder beiden Leistenenden verbunden wird. Dabei besteht ein solcher Eckverbinder im Wesentlichen aus einem (frontseitigen) Verkleidungsprofil, welches den Eckbereich in ästhetisch einwandfreier Weise abdeckt, und rückseitig an das Verkleidungsprofil angeschlossenen Halteprofilen, welche für eine zuverlässige Befestigung des Eckverbinders an den Leistenenden sorgen. Im Zuge der Verlegung ggf. auftretende Ungenauigkeiten lassen sich ausgleichen, so dass selbst bei schneller Montage eine auch in ästhetischer Hinsicht allen Anforderungen genügende Leistenverkleidung realisiert wird. Es versteht sich, dass der Eckverbinder und insbesondere das frontseitige Verkleidungsprofil, hinsichtlich Material und/oder Farbgestaltung und/oder Oberflächenbeschaffenheit an die Leisten angepasst werden können. Denn dann lässt sich das Verkleidungselement 4 gleichsam von oben in den Eckbereich 3 einstecken, so dass danach die Lamellen 26 leicht abgebogen und gleichsam widerhakenbildend gegen die Leistenkerne 7 anliegen.
