Abstract

In contrast to the traditional mountain back packs designed to carry snow shoes or short alpine skis, or normal hand held ski bags, the proposed product is particularly effective and can be of great assistance espically to children who are at a disadvantage when carryng skis and poles even for short distances.

The BabySkiBag is an extremely innovative product for the ski accessory market.

It is very simple although each particular has been carefully designed in order to solve the problem of ski transportation ; it is a nylon rectangular back pack (drawing Fig. 1,Fig.2) available in different lengths, capable of carryng skis from child size up to medium length adult size.There is a belt inside the bag which passes trough rings and is sealed by means of a buckle; this system allows the fastening of skis and poles ( Fig.3 ,Fig .8 , Fig .9 -Caracteristic A ).The positioning of the shoulder straps allows the BabySkiBag to be used as a back pack (Fig.10 ).However thanks to its unique design once skis and poles have been removed the BabySkiBag can be folded and use as a bum bag (Fig.4 ,Fig .6.) .

Description

Description of the utility model called BabySkiBag designed by Fausta Bennani resident in Via Per Ghevio 201 Meina (Novara), nationality Italian.
The bag/back-pack ski carrier is an extremely innovative product that has never previously appeared on the ski accessory market .It is very simple although each particular has been carefully designed in order to solve the problem of ski transportation .A rectangular shaped nylon bag (claim n.1) available in different lengths in order to carry skis from child size up to medium length adult size. Inside the bag a belt that passes through several rings (claim n .2), the belt is locked by a buckle : this system permits the fastening of skis and sticks.
The bag can be used as a back-pack utilizing its shoulder straps (claim n. 3).
Once the skis and poles are taken out of the bag ,the bag can be folded and used as a bumbag (claim n . 4).

the attached drawings give further details of the above description .The drawing on page one shows the complete bag . Fig. shows the flat rectangular length of the bag ,which corresponds to the front of the bag. Fig. 2 represents the back of the bag with the characteristics of the shoulder straps. Fig. 3 shows the fastening system for skis and poles. This system can be clearly seen in the drawing. Fig. 4 shows the bag folded into a bumbag .Drawings Fig.. 5 , Fig. 6 , Fig .7 ,Fig.8 replicate the designs in drawings Fig.1 , Fig. 2 ,Fig. 3 , Fig 4 , in a more realistic and less technical fashion . Drawing Fig.9 shows in detail the fastening system of skis and poles refered to as Cara_ teristic A .
Drawing 10 shows the bag as produced and when in use.

Claims

Claim 1 : bag/ back pack ski carrier characterised as a flat rectangular shape of variable lengths designed to transport skis from child size to medium length adult size.
Claim 2 : bag /back pack ski carrier as claimed in claim 1 ,characterized with an internal system of rings through which a belt passes to secure the skis and poles locked by a buckle mechanism.
Claim 3 : bag/back pack ski carrier as claimed in claim 1 and claim 2 ,characterized by nylon shoulder straps positioned at the rear of the bag adjustable in length by means of plastic buckles in order to carry the bag as a backpack.
Claim 4 : bag / back pack ski carrier as claimed in claim 1 ,2 and 3 , characte - rized by the possibility , once the skis and poles are removed to be folded as a bumbag , thanks to the detachable shoulder strips.
