When it is attended to neighboring two impeller blades 63, these two impeller blades 63 are formed so that a distance between them becomes gradually wider from inner portion near to the revolution axis 61 to outer periphery of the circular disc 62.

- a cross point P of the PQ-characteristic curve and the pressure loss characteristic curve corresponds to the pressure loss of the hair dryer mentioned here. If the pressure loss due to the air tunnel and the built-in objects is decreased, the inclination of the pressure loss characteristic curve becomes gentle, so that the cross point P of the PQ-characteristic curve and the pressure loss characteristic curve shifts rightward in the figure, and thereby, the value of the pressure at the cross point P falls and the volume of airflow increases.

- the outer diameter D1 of the fan 6 and the inner diameter D2 of the outlet 9 of airflow of the air tunnel 3 of the housing 2 are selected so that the value D1/D2 in the region equal to or larger than 1.0 and equal to or smaller than 1.45, it is possible to increase the volume of airflow generated by the hair dryer 1 due to reduction of the pressure loss in the air tunnel 3 although the same performance of the fan using the same fan 6 and motor 7 as those of the conventional hair dryer.

Claims (4)
- Sèche-cheveux (1) comprenant un boîtier (2) comportant un tunnel d'air sensiblement cylindrique (3), un ventilateur (6) prévu dans le tunnel d'air (3), un moteur (7) pour faire tourner le ventilateur (6) et un moyen de chauffage (5), dans lequel le ventilateur (6) est un ventilateur centrifuge qui comporte un arbre tournant (61), un disque circulaire (62) prévu sensiblement perpendiculairement à un axe central de l'arbre tournant (61) et une pluralité de pales de ventilateur (63) dont chacune est prévue sensiblement perpendiculairement au disque circulaire (62) mais est incurvée par rapport à une ligne radiale qui passe par l'axe central de l'arbre tournant (61) ; et lorsqu'un diamètre externe du ventilateur (6) est désigné au moyen d'un symbole D1 et qu'un diamètre interne d'une sortie (9) de circulation d'air du tunnel d'air (3) du boîtier (2) est désigné au moyen d'un symbole D2, une valeur de D1/D2 est dans une région égale ou supérieure à 1,0 et égale ou inférieure à 1,45 (1,0 ≤ D1/D2 ≤ 1,45).
- Sèche-cheveux selon la revendication 1, dans lequel, lorsqu'un diamètre interne du tunnel d'air (3) qui entoure le ventilateur (6) est désigné au moyen d'un symbole D3, une valeur de D1/D3 est dans une plage égale ou supérieure à 0,6 et égale ou inférieure à 0,75 (0,6 5 ≤ D1/D3 ≤ 0,75).
- Sèche-cheveux selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel le disque circulaire (62) du ventilateur (6) est incliné en pente douce en direction d'un côté aval dans une voie de circulation d'air depuis l'axe tournant jusqu'à sa périphérie externe.
- Sèche-cheveux selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel:deux pales de ventilateur voisines (63) du ventilateur (6) sont formées de telle sorte qu'une distance entre elles devienne progressivement de plus en plus large depuis une partie interne à proximité de l'axe tournant jusqu'à une périphérie externe du disque circulaire (62).
