Abstract

Stromkabel (2) zur elektrischen Verbindung einer in einem Kraftfahrzeug befindlichen Batterie mit einem gleichfalls im Kraftfahrzeug befindlichen Generator bzw. mit einem Starter, wobei das Stromkabel (2) aus einer Vielzahl von Litzen (2a) besteht, welche miteinander zu einem im Querschnitt angenähert kreisrunden Kabel (21,21a) verseilt sind, welches mit einer elektrisch isolierenden Hülle (2b) ausgebildet ist. Dabei ist das im Querschnitt angenähert kreisrunde Stromkabel (21, 21a) in mindestens einem mittleren Bereich in ein Flachkabel (22) mit einem rechteckförmigen Querschnitt verformt, wobei das jeweilige Flachkabel (22) mit einer im Querschnitt rechteckförmigen Isolierung (3) ausgebildet ist (Fig.2).
