Definitions

  • the invention relates to a child-resistant reclosable packaging of a cuboid carton made of cardboard and at least one arranged therein, strip-shaped blister pack, which is limited on one of the short narrow sides of the carton pulled out of this, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the blister pack (hereinafter referred to as "the blister") consists of a strip of rigid plastic material in which deep-drawn cups are formed, the od of receiving pills, tablets, capsules,. Like. Serve and after filling of a on the Plastic strip sealed cover sheet limited extensibility, generally made of metal, especially aluminum, are closed. To remove the drug from the well, the drug is pressed from the back of the strip against the cover sheet, which bursts. It is understood that the stiffness of the plastic material in the region of the wells is reduced so far, usually already by deep-drawing, that a deformation of the wells by manual pressure is possible.
  • Blisters of this type are not sufficiently tamper-resistant enough to prevent infants from gaining access to the drug contained in the blister during unsupervised play. Legislators will soon prescribe that a primary packaging, and such is a blister which is completely removable from a carton, is child resistant. Making a blister child safe requires a relatively complex construction. An example of this is in EP 1 270 440 B1 described. Further state of the art for childproof blisters can be found in US 4,125,190 A . EP 1 057 744 A2 . EP 1 002 744 A1 and US 6,047,829 A just to name a few. However, most of these prior art blister packs are childproof only until first opened. Once the pack has opened and lies around unattended, it can be dangerous for a toddler.
  • the carton and the blister are inextricably linked.
  • the carton can be resealed after opening for the first time. Therefore, the carton box belongs to the primary packaging and can thus take over the child protection in the sense of the regulations, while the blister itself can be unsecured.
  • the carton is formed on one of its long broad sides over almost the entire length of three layers to provide a cavity into which a tongue can occur, which is formed on a folded cardboard slide on which the blister is mounted.
  • the use of cardboard material is therefore relatively large, in addition, this construction requires a gluing or integral design of the blister with the carton slide. The child-safe accommodation of multiple blisters in the carton is not possible.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a novel child-resistant packaging of the type mentioned. This object is achieved by the invention defined in claim 1.
  • Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.
  • a latching nose with oblique edge is formed on a longitudinal edge of the blister and the carton has on one of the long narrow sides a cavity wall whose interior is divided against the blister receiving space by a cardboard box, which is approximately in the middle of a longitudinal direction the carton extending crease line and is slightly bent against the interior of the cavity wall by means of a bending line.
  • this carton box has a cutout in which the latching nose of the blister is latched.
  • the blister consists of two unequally long strips, which are integrally connected to each other at two spaced parallel and total transverse to the longitudinal extent of the package creases and extending therebetween a web, wherein the web has such dimensions that he fills the free cross-section of the carton interior.
  • the shorter strip has such a length that, in the widest possible state of the blister which has been pulled out of the folding box, this strip can be unfolded freely.
  • the web In pushed into the carton state of the blister, the web forms one of the narrow sides of the cuboid packaging and thus closes the carton at one end.
  • the shorter strip can not be pushed further into the carton, as the longer strip, is advantageously formed on the longer strip in the region where in the closed normal state of the package is the free end of the shorter strip, projecting against the shorter strip bead to which the free end of the shorter strip abuts.
  • normal state is meant here that the aforementioned web is perpendicular to the strips and forms a narrow side of the package.
  • Fig. 1 and 2 show the items of the preferred embodiment of the invention.
  • Fig. 1 shows it the flat carton blank of a carton
  • Fig. 2 shows the intended for the inclusion in the carton blister B in the flat state.
  • the folding box consists of two wide hull fields 101, 102 and two narrow hull fields 103, 104, with a glued tab 105 adjoining the one narrow hull field 103.
  • Adhesive tabs 106 and 107 are attached to the end of the narrow hull fields 103, 104.
  • At the wide fuselage fields 101, 102 are at one end a lid flap 111 and an adhesive flap 108 and on the other reinforcing flaps 115, 116 attached.
  • apertures 119 are formed, which form finger cut-outs after folding over the reinforcing flaps 115, 116.
  • the adhesive tab 105 which is attached to the narrow trunk panel 103, is followed by a cavity wall panel 130, which has a cutout 112. Within the hollow wall panel 130 extends centrally a kink line K. At the hollow wall panel 130, an adhesive tab 131 connects.
  • This folding carton blank is processed as follows:
  • the adhesive tabs 107 and the reinforcing tabs 115, 116 are inwardly on the Folded hull boxes where they are attached, and glued to these.
  • the narrow fuselage field 103 is folded over by 90 °
  • the adhesive flap 105 is folded over by a further 90 °
  • the hollow wall panel 130 is folded over by 90 °, so that it now runs parallel to the fuselage 103, wherein the adhesive flap 131 is folded in the opposite direction and on the inside of the wide hull field 101 is glued.
  • the remaining hull fields 104 and 102 are folded over, and the inside of the hull field 102 glued to the adhesive flap 105.
  • the so-closed carton is at the narrow end where the fingerholes 119 are accessible. At this end, the blister B is now inserted.
  • the blister B consists of a strip of rigid plastic material which is divided into two sections 121 and 122 of different lengths, in which wells 124 are formed.
  • the two sections 121 and 122 are delimited from each other by two spaced crease lines 120 which run transversely to the longitudinal extent of the blister B.
  • a bead 123 In the longer portion 122 is a bead 123 whose distance to its next crease line 120 is as large as the distance of the free, narrow edge of the shorter portion 121 of the blister B to its next crease line 120.
  • the sections 121 and 122 have a width which corresponds to the clear interior of the folding box between the hollow wall panel 130 and the opposing narrow trunk panel 104. Subsequently, in the direction of the two fold lines, the blister B spreads to a width which corresponds to the clear distance between the two narrow Hullffeldem 103 and 104 of the carton. At the narrower portions, portions 121 and 122 have protruding lobes which smoothly merge into the narrower dimension of blister B on one side.
  • the blister B Prior to insertion into the carton, the blister B is folded at the two fold lines 120 to the U, the retaining tab 125 is turned over to the opposite side, and with the end to which the retaining tab 125 is attached, first the blister into the carton so pushed in that those edges where the tabs 126 are formed, the hollow wall 130 are adjacent. The lugs 126 then slide along the hollow wall panel 130 and engage in the cutout 112.
  • Fig. 3 shows a longitudinal section through the carton along the line III - III of Fig. 4 .
  • the carton box 130 which forms a hollow wall, with its cutout 112.
  • the blister B In the carton is the blister B from which one recognizes the longer portion 122 and the protruding nose 126, which is located in the cutout 112 of the cavity wall panel 130, and the web 133, which closes the carton on the one narrow side.
  • the gaps between the web 133 and the walls of the carton are shown oversized in the drawing for clarity.
  • the Fig. 4 shows and is omitted in the representation of Blisteräpfchen, you can see the consisting of the two sections 121 and 122 and the web 133 Blister B in the state in the carton, in which formed at the sections 121 and 122 tabs 126 in the Section 112 of the cavity wall bounding box box 130 are locked. Further, it will be seen that said carton panel 130 has a deflection towards the cavity 134 of the cavity wall. This deflection, which is caused by the kink line K, ensures that when you press outside of the carton 132 on the markers, the carton box 130 in a defined Direction, namely away from the lugs 126, bends and thus releases the lugs from the cutout 112.
  • a toddler is unable to perform the combination of the movements necessary to open the carton, since the necessary motions are directed in different directions.
  • the carton is therefore childproof.
  • the blister B By inserting the blister B into the carton, the amount of medication remaining in the blister can be stored again in the carton in a child-proof manner. Because the blister can not be separated from the carton, the package represents a total of primary packaging and meets the requirements of child safety, without the blister B must be childproof.
