Abstract

La présente invention porte sur une caisse palette en carton ou autre matériau semi-rigide comportant une caisse (3) reposant sur un plateau (10) pourvu de patins (11, 12, 13) longitudinaux formant palette (5), ledit plateau comportant des retours (14, 15, 16) latéraux verticaux de centrage de la caisse (3) sur le plateau (10), la caisse comprenant une ceinture formée d'au moins quatre panneaux verticaux (31 ; 32 ; 33 ; 34) caractérisée par le fait qu'au moins des panneaux est attaché par collage ou agrafage à un desdits retours. En particulier chaque panneau de la ceinture comprend aussi un rabat de fond (31', 32', 33', 34') plié à angle droit et venant en appui sur le plateau (10) de la palette. Cette solution présente l'avantage de rendre le montage aisé tout en étant robuste.

Description

  • La présente invention concerne une caisse palette en carton ou autre matériau semi-rigide semblable.
  • Pour le transport d'objets lourds ou encombrants, on utilise des palettes constituées d'un plateau pourvu de plots. Ces derniers sont disposés de manière à permettre le passage de la fourche d'un engin de manutention. Les palettes sont généralement en bois mais on trouve aussi des palettes dont le plateau est en carton ondulé épais et les plots aussi en carton avec des renforts pour en améliorer la résistance à la charge verticale.
  • On associe ce dernier type de palette à des caisses également en carton. Des solutions existent déjà sur le moyen de rendre la caisse solidaire du plateau de manière à ce que, pendant le transport, la caisse et la palette forment un ensemble indissociable. La réalisation de ce type de caisse palette peut être cependant complexe dans la mesure où le carton est un matériau moins résistant que le bois. En raison de pliages élaborés, le montage peut ne pas être simple.
  • La demanderesse s'est fixé comme objectif la réalisation d'une caisse palette, essentiellement en carton au autre matériau semi-rigide permettant le montage de l'ensemble de façon aussi simple que possible. En outre l'ensemble doit être aussi économique que possible.
  • Conformément à l'invention, la caisse palette en carton ou autre matériau semi-rigide comportant une caisse reposant sur un plateau pourvu de patins longitudinaux formant palette, ledit plateau comportant des retours latéraux verticaux de centrage de la caisse sur le plateau, la caisse comprenant une ceinture formée d'au moins quatre panneaux verticaux, est caractérisée par le fait qu'au moins un panneau de la ceinture est attaché à un desdits retours latéraux par collage ou agrafage.
  • L'ensemble de la caisse et de la palette selon l'invention présente l'avantage, pour la partie formant la liaison entre la caisse et la palette d'être à la fois stable et simple à assembler. En effet les retours latéraux du plateau de la palette immobilisent la caisse contre les glissements éventuels et ils présentent une surface de contact suffisante pour permettre l'emploi d'un moyen d'attache. Le moyen d'attache formé par le collage ou l'agrafage peut être associé à un moyen de type languette et encoche. Pour ce dernier par exemple on prévoit une languette découpée dans le retour coopérant avec une encoche ménagée dans le panneau de la ceinture adjacent.
  • L'invention permet la réalisation de caisses palettes à la fois robustes et économiques tout en présentant un fond plat. Pour certaines applications, ce dernier avantage est décisif par rapport aux palettes en bois avec leur surface d'appui à claire-voie.
  • Conformément à un mode de réalisation préféré, chacun des panneaux de la ceinture comprend un rabat de fond plié à angle droit et venant en appui sur le plateau de la palette.
  • Par cette solution, les rabats de fond de la caisse stabilisent celle-ci contre l'éclatement et contribuent au maintien de la cohésion de l'ensemble par le poids des articles contenus dans la caisse et appuyant dessus.
  • Avantageusement, lesdits rabats sont en forme de trapèze de manière à ne pas se chevaucher lorsqu'ils sont pliés ensemble perpendiculairement par rapport à leur panneau respectif. Grâce cela le montage est aisé car les rabats peuvent être repliés individuellement. Cependant d'autres formes sont possibles.
  • D'autres avantages et caractéristiques ressortiront de la description qui suit d'un mode de réalisation non limitatif de l'invention, en référence aux dessins en annexe sur lesquels :
    • la figure 1 montre en perspective une caisse palette, selon l'invention ;
    • la figure 2 montre la palette seule avec trois retours verticaux latéraux ;
    • les figures 3 à 5 montrent le montage d'une caisse palette selon l'invention.
  • Comme on le voit sur la figure 1, la caisse palette 1 est en deux parties, une caisse 3 reposant sur une palette 5. La caisse 3 est parallélépipédique, en carton, et est constituée d'une ceinture à quatre panneaux 31, 32, 33, 34. Les panneaux sont prolongés sur le haut ici par des rabats supérieurs 35, 35' pour former la coiffe supérieure. Pour ce qui concerne le fond, comme on peut le voir sur la figure 3, des rabats 31', 32', 33' et 34' prolongent chacun des panneaux 31, 32, 33, 34 respectivement, ces rabats sur toute la longueur du panneau, et leur bord est découpé en biais. On note que la largeur des rabats est inférieure à la moitié des panneaux adjacents. Il s'ensuit que lorsqu'on plie les rabats à angle droit. Ils ne forment pas un fond complet. Leur largeur peut être par exemple de l'ordre de 100mm.
  • Selon un mode de réalisation non représent, la caisse se limite à une simple ceinture sans rabats de fond, avec ou pas des rabats supérieurs pour former la coiffe.
  • La palette est formée d'un plateau 10 en carton reposant sur trois patins 11 12 et 13 également en carton. Le nombre de patins n'est pas limité à trois. Il peut aller de deux à dix, selon la dimension de la palette et la charge qu'elle doit supporter. Le plateau est bordé ici par trois retours latéraux verticaux 14, 15 et 16. Le quatrième bord est libre.
  • Les patins sont par exemple formés chacun sous la forme d'un tube à section rectangulaire, obtenu par enroulement d'une feuille de carton. Le tube est collé ou agrafé sous le plateau. Des découpes sont ménagées le long du tube pour le passage des fourches d'un engin de manutention. Afin de renforcer les patins pour leur permettre de résister à des charges élevés, on prévoit de disposer des renforts à l'intérieur des tubes. Ces renforts peuvent être des mandrins en carton posés verticalement. Leur épaisseur dépend de la charge verticale à laquelle on veut qu'ils résistent. De préférence, le mode de fabrication de la palette en carton est dérivé du brevet EP 750568 au nom de la société Bini. Selon ce brevet, on prépare les patins à partir de plaques de carton convenablement découpées. Ces plaques sont d'abord pliées en U. On dispose ensuite les renforts individuels dans la pièce en U. Puis on referme le tube, les différents éléments étant retenus entre eux par encollage. On vient enfin placer le plateau de la palette sur les patins, ici trois, et les fixer ensemble.
  • Conformément à l'invention le plateau 10 est constitué d'un panneau rainé le long de trois de ses bords de manière à former trois retours le long des trois côtés. Pour la formation du plateau 10 de la palette selon l'invention, les patins sont disposés par rapport à celui-ci de manière à laisser libre les bords formant retours qui sont rabattus à angle droit ultérieurement. Le maintien des retours 14, 15 et 16 en position verticale peut être obtenu par agrafage ou bien en solidarisant des languettes prolongeant les retours.
  • On décrit maintenant une façon avantageuse de mettre en volume la caisse palette.
  • Comme on le voit sur la figure 3 la ceinture est disposée à l'envers, les rabats 31', 32', 33', 34' sont droits. On présente la palette à l'envers le plateau avec le rabat central en appui contre le rabat 33'. On bascule la palette sur la ceinture en repliant les rabats adjacents 32' et 34'. Grâce aux découpes en biais des rabats et à leur largeur inférieure à la largeur de leurs panneaux adjacents, on met en place la palette sans difficulté. Il suffit ensuite comme cela est représenté sur la figure 4 de faire glisser la palette après avoir replié le rabat 31' à angle droit.
  • Le verrouillage est aussi par agrafage ou collage, il peut être associé à une languette découpée dans un retour de la palette repliée dans une encoche ménagée dans le panneau de la ceinture contre lequel le retour est en appui.
  • Le plateau de la palette a été représenté avec trois retours latéraux. Cependant l'invention couvre également les cas où le plateau comprend un, deux ou quatre retours latéraux.
  • La caisse est ici à quatre panneaux. Cependant d'autres formes polygonales sont possibles, telles que par exemple octogonale.

Claims (5)

  1. Caisse palette en carton ou autre matériau semi-rigide comportant une caisse (3) reposant sur un plateau (10) pourvu de patins (11, 12, 13) longitudinaux formant palette (5), ledit plateau comportant des retours (14, 15, 16) latéraux verticaux de centrage de la caisse (3) sur le plateau (10), la caisse comprenant une ceinture formée d'au moins quatre panneaux verticaux (31 ; 32 ; 33 ; 34) caractérisée par le fait qu'au moins un panneau de la ceinture est attaché à un retour latéral par collage ou agrafage.
  2. Caisse palette selon la revendication 1, dont le dit panneau est attaché par un moyen de type languette et encoche.
  3. Caisse palette selon la revendication 1 dont chacun des panneaux comprend un rabat de fond (31', 32', 33', 34') plié à angle droit et venant en appui sur le plateau (10) de la palette.
  4. Caisse palette selon la revendication précédente, dont lesdits rabats des panneaux de la ceinture (31', 32', 33', 34') sont en forme de trapèze de manière à ne pas se chevaucher lorsqu'ils sont pliés ensemble perpendiculairement par rapport à leur panneau respectif (31,32, 33, 34).
  5. Caisse palette selon l'une des revendications précédentes dont les patins (11, 12, 13) sont en carton, de forme parallélépipédique avec des renforts intérieurs.
