Description

Schalterfeld mit wenigstens einem Schalter Switch panel with at least one switch
Technisches GebietTechnical field
The invention relates to a switch panel with at least one switch, the actuation button of which is located in an opening in a front panel, and with a housing which is arranged in the region of the opening of the front panel and surrounds the switch and which, between an inner and an outer peripheral wall, is open to the front panel and is translucent covered annular gap for receiving at least one illuminant.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
In order to provide circumferential lighting for a switch in a switch panel, it is known from the prior art (DE 3 228 290 A1) to make the actuation button of the switch partially translucent and also to illuminate it on the back with lighting means. If the actuation button now also lies in an opening in an opaque front panel, the result is peripheral illumination limited by the front panel and the opaque part of the actuation button. A disadvantage of such switches, however, is that when the actuating button is released in the actuating direction, the lighting means must be arranged at a distance from the actuating button, which reduces the brightness of the lighting. This loss of brightness can be compensated for with high-performance lighting, but this is out of the question for inexpensive switches. In addition, a large part of the light output of the lighting means is held back by the opaque cover of the lighting button, so without the use of light guides this power is lost for the peripheral lighting. However, the use of light guides is comparatively expensive and structurally complex. In addition, such switches are susceptible to contamination of the lighting means due to their release between the actuation button and the housing, so that a steady decrease in the luminosity of the peripheral lighting is to be expected. In addition, because of the exemption, it cannot be avoided that other switches are illuminated.
Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention
The invention is therefore based on the object to improve a switch panel with at least one switch of the type described in such a way that, despite the use of low-power lighting means, a sufficiently bright circumferential illumination of the actuation button can be achieved without, however, having to drive a great deal of design effort. In addition, the circumferential lighting should be comparatively inexpensive and allow a long service life.
The invention solves the problem in that the housing is inserted flush with the outer peripheral wall in the opening of the front panel and encloses the actuating button with its inner peripheral wall and that the translucent cover of the annular gap between the inner and outer peripheral wall from a extending over the front panel Foil exists.
If the housing with the outer peripheral wall is inserted flush into the opening of the front panel and its inner peripheral wall surrounds the actuation button, a complex structural design of the actuation button can be dispensed with for peripheral lighting, since the annular gap with its illuminants is separated from the switch in the opening the front panel. Due to the lack of back lighting, there is no need for an opaque cover for the actuation button. Au- In addition, sufficient brightness of the circumferential lighting is still to be ensured with low-power illuminants, since, in contrast to the prior art, in the invention, on the one hand, there is no loss of brightness due to distances to be maintained and, on the other hand, the entire luminosity of the illuminants can be used for the circumferential illumination. With a translucent covering of the annular gap by means of a film extending over the front plate, the lighting means have a self-contained receptacle, with which contamination can be avoided. The peripheral lighting according to the invention is therefore characterized by a long service life and low costs in production and operation. In addition, there is no need to use optical fibers, which in particular reduces the overall design effort for the switch panel.
If the actuating button protrudes with a curved actuating surface over the front plate surface, it is comparatively easy for a user to see the pressure point of the actuating button, which further reduces the risk of damage to the film of the annular gap. If the actuating surface is additionally covered by a protective film which extends over the housing and which is translucent at least in the region of the annular gap between the inner and outer peripheral wall, not only can contamination of the switch be avoided, but also the strength of the covering of the annular gap is increased.
If the lighting means and the switch are provided on a circuit board and these protrude through floor recesses in the housing, maintenance work can be carried out in a simple and quick manner by detaching the circuit board from the housing.
Kurze Beschreibung der ZeichnungBrief description of the drawing
The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example. Show it Fig. 1 is a plan view of a part of the control panel without a film cover, Fig. 2 is a section according to II-II of Fig. 1 with film cover and Fig. 3, the housing of the switch according to the invention in a three-dimensional view.
Weg zur Ausführung der ErfindungWay of carrying out the invention
In the illustrated embodiment of the switch panel according to the invention (FIG. 1), a front plate 4, for example made of an aluminum material, forms an opening 3 into which a housing 1, for example made of a plastic material, is inserted. The housing 1 closes with its outer peripheral wall 2 flush with this opening 3 and has an annular gap 8 open towards the front plate 4 between its outer peripheral wall 2 and its inner peripheral wall 5. In this annular gap 8, a plurality of lighting means 11 are used, which are provided for peripheral lighting of an actuation button 6 of a switch 12 enclosed by the inner peripheral wall 5 (FIG. 2). The peripheral lighting can be switched on and off, for example, using a control device (not shown in more detail) which supplies the lighting means 11, for example LED modules, with electrical power when the switch 12 is actuated. The switch 12 is therefore separated from the annular gap 8 by an opaque housing wall 5, so that there is no fear of backlighting of the actuation button 6. A circumferential illumination with a comparatively sharp contour can therefore be guaranteed, especially since the entire luminosity of the illuminating means 11 is available without scattering losses of the circumferential illumination. In order to ensure an advantageous radiation behavior of the lighting means 11, it is also conceivable that the sides of the housing 1 surrounding the lighting means 11 are mirrored. In order to avoid contamination, the annular gap 8 is covered with a translucent cover made of a film 9 extending over the front plate 4. It has been found that it is advantageous to have the film 9 projecting not only beyond the annular gap 8 but also up to the actuation button 6 and, if appropriate, also in this overlap area with the actuation button 6 to glue. The switch 12 can thus also be protected against contamination. In addition, the narrow housing web between the annular gap 8 and the inner peripheral wall 5 can be covered.
The actuating button 6 protrudes with its curved actuating surface over the front panel surface, which also visually indicates the position of the actuating button 6 to the user of the switch field, so that there is no need for markings on the film 9 to indicate the actuating button 6. Furthermore, the actuation button 6 is covered with a protective film 10, which extends over the housing 1 and is translucent at least in the region of the annular gap 8 between the inner and outer circumferential walls 2 and 5, which on the one hand determines the color of the circumferential lighting in a simple manner after the switch field has been produced, or else can be changed and on the other hand, the switch 12 is protected against dirt or wear. This additional film cover 10 can, for example, be glued in the overlap area to the film 9 drawn over the front plate. But it is also conceivable that only one film is drawn over the front panel, which consists of the film 9 and the additional film cover 10.
The lighting means 11 and the switch 12 are provided on a circuit board 13 with electrical connections, which circuit board 13 also has openings for fastening pins 14 of the housing. The circuit board 13 is firmly connected to the housing 1 via this fastening pin 14, which is not shown in detail. For maintenance work, therefore, only the circuit board 13 is to be separated from the housing 1, so that the lighting means 11 or the switch 12 are then easily accessible. The housing 1 is pressed by the circuit board 13 onto the front plate 4 of the switch panel, so that the housing 1 cannot slip when the switch 12 is actuated. Floor recesses 15 are provided in the housing 1 for the lighting means 11 and the switch 12 (FIG. 3), into which the above-mentioned also protrude. It need not be mentioned further that the actuation button 6 or the peripheral lighting is not limited to a circular shape, but rather that the peripheral lighting according to the invention can be provided in any form of the actuation button 6. It is only for the ring gap 8 to be adjusted accordingly.
