Einrichtung zum elektrisch leitenden Kontaktieren eines abschnittsweise abisolierten Außenleiters eines KoaxialkabelsDevice for electrically conductive contacting of a stripped outer conductor of a coaxial cable
Durch EP 0 987 483 Bl, EP 0 982 524 Bl und EP 978The invention relates to a device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 for electrically conductive contacting of a stripped outer conductor of a coaxial cable. Such devices are generally known, for example from EP 0 744 788 AI. They are used, for example, to connect an earthing cable to an outer conductor of a coaxial cable that is stripped in sections. By EP 0 987 483 Bl, EP 0 982 524 Bl and EP 978
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand der beigefügten Zeichnung, die ein Ausfuhrungsbeispiel darstellt, näher erläutert.678 B1 a device is known in each case which has a base body which is designed as a clamp which can be tensioned around the coaxial cable to be contacted, which is open in the circumferential direction and has angled or bent tabs at its ends which can be connected to one another in the assembly position, the base body has a carrier element made of metal, which extends into the tabs. The known device furthermore has means for producing an electrically conductive connection between the outer conductor of the coaxial cable and the carrier element, which have a contact element formed by a wire or a braid band made of metal. The contact element comes to bear when the base body is tensioned on the one hand on the radial outer surface of the stripped coaxial cable and on the other hand on the radial inner surface of the carrier element, so that an electrically conductive connection is established between the outer conductor of the coaxial cable and the support element. The known device also has connection means for connecting an earth cable to the carrier element. In the known device, the connection means are formed by a connection eyelet formed on the grounding cable, which can be screwed to the carrier element of the base body by means of a screw which can be screwed into a threaded bore formed on one of the tabs, so that an electrically conductive connection via the connection eyelet Tende connection between the grounding cable and the carrier element and thus between the grounding cable and the outer conductor of the coaxial cable can be established. WO 02/061884 AI a device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 is known. In the device known from this publication, the connection means have a connection element designed in the manner of a cable lug, which is firmly and electrically conductively connected to the carrier element or to a part which is electrically conductively connected to the latter. The device known from the publication is simple and inexpensive to produce and enables an electrically conductive connection to be made quickly and easily between the carrier element of the device and an electrically conductive component, for example an earth cable. The invention has for its object to provide a device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, which is even easier and therefore cheaper to manufacture. The invention frees itself from the idea of, for example, establishing a grounding of a stripped outer conductor of a coaxial cable by connecting this electrically conductive component, for example a metal part of a mast of a mobile radio transmission system, to the carrier element of the device via a grounding cable. Rather, it is based on the idea of designing the device according to the invention in such a way that the carrier element can also be connected to the electrically conductive component without an earth cable. For this purpose, the teaching according to the invention provides that the connection element is designed in the form of a strip and at least in a flat cross-section in an area extending from its free end to a connection point with the base body. According to the invention, the flat, strip-shaped connecting element is connected directly to the electrically conductive component, for example a metal part of a mast of a mobile radio transmitter system. In this way it is possible to do without a grounding cable, for example to ground a stripped outer conductor of a coaxial cable. The connection of the connection element to the electrically conductive component can be a detachable connection, for example a screw connection, or an inseparable connection, for example a welded or soldered connection. The device according to the invention is particularly simple and therefore inexpensive to manufacture and particularly easy to handle. In principle, the connection element can be essentially rigid. An advantageous development provides that the connection element is flexible. In this way, the handling of the device according to the invention is further simplified because the End element can be brought into a desired position for connection to the electrically conductive component by bending. In the aforementioned embodiment, the connection element is expediently essentially planar in the x-bent state. If the connection between the connection element and the electrically conductive component, for example a metal part of a mast of a mobile radio transmission system, is a detachable connection, it is advantageous for the connection element to have at least one recess, preferably a bore, for the passage a screw or the like for establishing an electrically conductive connection between the connection element and the electrically conductive component. In this way, the connection of the connection element with the electrically conductive component is made considerably easier and is time-saving. In principle, the connection element can be designed as a separate component, which is held, for example, by clamping between the support elements and a reinforcing element connected to the support element. A particularly simple and inexpensive to manufacture and particularly easy to handle embodiment provides that the connection element is formed in one piece with the carrier element or a reinforcing element that is electrically conductive with the carrier element. Another advantageous development of the teaching according to the invention provides that the connection element has an essentially constant cross-section along its extension in plan view. Further advantageous developments of the teaching according to the invention are contained in the subclaims. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing, which represents an exemplary embodiment.

In Fig. 1 an embodiment of a device 2 according to the invention is shown, which has a flexible base body 4 designed as a clamp, which in this embodiment is formed in one piece and open in the circumferential direction and at its free ends angled tabs 6, 8 on ice, which can be connected to one another in the mounting position in a manner explained in more detail below by means of screws (not shown in FIG. 1). The base body 4 has a band-shaped carrier element 10 made of metal and a part 12 made of elastic material, in this exemplary embodiment an elastomer, in which the carrier element 10 is embedded with its axial edges and is thus connected to the part 12 made of elastic material ( Fig. 3). The carrier element 10 extends into the tabs 6, 8 and is reinforced in this area for stabilization with reinforcing elements 5, 7 made of metal, which can be welded to the carrier element 10, for example. In the tab 6 threaded holes 9, 11 and in the tab 8 through holes 13, 15 are formed, which serve in a manner explained in more detail below for receiving screws, not shown in Fig. 1, by means of which the tabs 6, 8 in I ontageposition with each other are braced. To connect an electrically conductive component, for example a metal part of a mast of a mobile radio transmission system, to the carrier element 10, connection means are provided which are designed to establish an electrically conductive connection between the carrier element and a connection point, for example an earth contact. The connection means are formed from a connection element 20, which is made of a strip of an electrically conductive and bendable material, such as a metal strip, the length of which is substantially greater than its width, its dimensions in width being substantially greater than the thickness of the Metal strip. The connecting element 20 is provided at one end with holes so that it can be clamped between the tabs of the base body, the screws for connecting the clamp being carried out through the holes, so that a simple but secure electrical connection between the support element and the connecting element 20 is made. At its opposite end, the connection element 20 is designed such that an earth contact can be made. For this purpose, this end of the connecting element 20 likewise has a bore which makes it possible to make an electrical contact for grounding purposes by inserting a screw or another fastening means. In the following, the establishment of an electrically conductive connection between a stripped stripped outer conductor of a coaxial cable and a grounding contact is explained. In a first step, the flexible base body 4, which is designed as a clamp, is stripped around the stripped
Section of the outer conductor placed so that the band-shaped carrier element 10 made of metal encompasses the stripped section of the outer conductor. In a second step, screws are inserted into the through bores 13, 15 of the tab 8.
Um eine elektrische Verbindung mit dem Erdungs- kabel herzustellen, kann das Anschlußelement 20 entsprechend der Position des Erdungskontaktes verbogen werden und mit einer in die Bohrung an dem anderen Ende des Anschlußelementes 20 durch Einsatz einer Schraube oder eines anderen Verbindungsmittels ein elektrischer Kontakt hergestellt werden, so daß eine elektrischeBefore the two tabs 6 and 8 of the flexible base body are pressed together so that the screws located in the through bores 13, 15 can be screwed into the threaded bores 9, 11 of the tab 6, the first end of the connecting element 20 between the tabs 6 and 8 is so placed that the screws inserted into the through holes 13, 15 reach through the passage of the connecting element 20 so that the screws used in Wind holes 9, 11 of the tab 6 can be screwed in, this screwing causes a tensioning of the flexible base body 4, so that the carrier element 10 is pressed against the stripped section of the outer conductor, so that an electrical contact between the stripped outer conductor of a coaxial cable and the carrier element 10 is guaranteed. At the same time, the connecting element 20 is pressed in between the two lugs 6 and 8, so that an electrical contact is ensured between the connecting element 20 and the lugs 6 and 8, so that an electrically conductive connection is provided between the connecting element 20 and the carrier element 10 , In order to establish an electrical connection with the grounding cable, the connecting element 20 can be bent in accordance with the position of the grounding contact and an electrical contact can be made with one in the bore at the other end of the connecting element 20 by using a screw or other connecting means that an electrical
Connection between the stripped portion of an outer conductor of a coaxial cable and a ground contact is given. The design of the device for the rest, its assembly and its function are generally known to the person skilled in the art, for example from WO 02/061884 AI, the content of which is hereby incorporated by reference into the present application, and are therefore not explained in more detail here. A particularly advantageous development of the exemplary embodiment described above consists in designing the connecting element 20 not as a separate component, but in one piece with one of the reinforcing elements 5, 7. In this embodiment, the manufac tion even simpler and therefore more cost-effective. Reference is made to FIGS. 5 and 6. FIGS. 5 and 6 show a second exemplary embodiment of the connecting element 20, which is formed in one piece with the reinforcing element 5, to which it is connected in an electrically conductive manner. This second embodiment of the connection element 20 is likewise provided with a bore so that an electrical contact can be made for grounding purposes by inserting a screw or other fastening means. The connecting element 20 is arranged at an angle of 45 degrees to the reinforcing element 5, so that after a coaxial cable to be contacted has been reclamped with the base body designed as a clamp, the production of an earth contact is simplified.
