- Clamping device for coupling a movable transport means, e.g. a gondola or chair, to a hauling or traction cable of a cableway system, comprising two clamping jaws (6,7) movable toward one another or apart for coupling the clamping device to and uncoupling the clamping device from the hauling or traction cable, wherein exchangeable jaws (11), through which said clamping jaws (6,7) act on the hauling or traction cable, are fastened to said clamping jaws (6,7), and wherein said clamping jaws (6,7) with bearing surfaces (14) abute to counter surfaces (13) of the exchangeable jaws (11),characterized in that said bearing surface (14) on the clamping jaws (6,7) for the exchangeable jaws (11) are curved concavely and that the counter surface (13) on said exchangeable jaws (11) has a corresponding curvature.
- The clamping device according to claim 1, characterized in that said bearing surface (14) and said counter surface (13) are curved with a circular cylindrical shape.
- The clamping device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the said contact surface (15) with which an exchangeable jaw (11) acts on the hauling or traction cable has a shape substantially parallel to said counter surface (13).
- The clamping device according to claim 3, characterized in that said contact surface (15) has a discontinuous curvature shape with a radius of curvature in a central curvature region being smaller than the radius of curvature of the cable.
- The clamping device according to claim 4, characterized in that said radius of curvature of said contact surface (15) increases outward from said central curvature region and in particular merges with a substantially plane region.
- The clamping device according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that said contact surface (15) has groove-shaped depressions in the central region.
- The clamping device according to one of the claims 3 to 5, characterized in that said contact surface (15) has a slot-shaped depression in the central region.
- The clamping device according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that said exchangeable jaw (11) contains two cheeks (17,18) extending laterally next to said clamping jaw (6,7).
- The clamping device according to claim 8, characterized in that said cheeks (17,18) contain a shoulder (25) on sides facing one another, the distance between projections (23b) of said shoulder (25) of said two cheeks (17,18) being smaller than the distance between returns (23a) on said cheeks (17,18).
- The clamping device according to claim 9, characterized in that said projection (23b) is disposed in a region next to said counter surface (13) of said exchangeable jaw (11).
- The clamping device according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the width of said projection (23b) is approximately 15-50% preferably 20-30% of the width of said cheeks (17,18).
- The clamping device according to claim 10 or 11, characterized in that said projection (23b) extends as far as approximately into a region of a mounting bore (19) or slightly into said region of said mounting bore (19).
