The latching sleeve has axial slots at its mating end forming elastically resilient latching tongues having, at their mating ends, a latching edge extending radially outwardly to latch onto the socket groove latching edge. An unlocking sleeve surrounding and displaceable axially relative to the latching sleeve has a ramp sloping radially outwardly toward the cable end. The ramp cooperates with a groove on an inside face of the unlocking sleeve so unlocking sleeve displacement relative to the latching sleeve bends the tongues inwardly.

Das Außenleitergehäuseteil 36 weist ein steckseitiges Ende 48 und ein koaxialkabelseitiges Ende 50 auf. Die Rasthülse 42 umgreift das Außenleitergehäuseteil 36. Es ist eine Feder 52 vorgesehen, welche sich mit ihrem einen Ende an dem Außenleitergehäuseteil 36 und mit ihrem anderen Ende an der Rasthülse 42 derart abstützt, dass die Rasthülse 42 in Richtung des koaxialkabelseitigen Endes 50 des Außenleitergehäuseteiles 36 vorgespannt ist. An dem koaxialkabelseitigen Ende 50 des Außenleitergehäuseteiles 36 ist ein Anschlag für die Rasthülse 42 in Form des Pressrings 46 ausgebildet, welcher eine axiale Bewegung der Rasthülse 42 in Richtung des koaxialkabelseitigen Endes 50 des Außenleitergehäuseteiles 36 begrenzt. Die Rasthülse 42 ist an ihrem steckseitigen Ende 48 mit axialen Schlitzen ausgebildet, sodass elastisch federnde Rastzungen 54 ausgebildet sind. Diese Rastzungen 54 weisen an ihrem steckseitigen Ende jeweils eine sich radial nach außen erhebende Rastkante 56 auf. Die Entriegelungshülse 44 umgibt die Rasthülse 42 und ist axial bezüglich der Rasthülse 42 verschiebbar. The latching sleeve 42 is formed at its plug-side end 48 with axial slots, so that elastically resilient latching tongues 54 are formed. These latching tongues 54 have at their plug-side end in each case a radially outwardly rising latching edge 56. The unlocking sleeve 44 surrounds the latching sleeve 42 and is axially displaceable relative to the latching sleeve 42. The latching sleeve 42 has a ramp 58 rising radially outward and rising in the direction of the coaxial cable end 50, which cooperates with a corresponding chamfered groove 60 on an inner side of the unlocking sleeve 44 in such a way that displacement of the unlocking sleeve 44 relative to the latching sleeve 42 in the direction the coaxial cable end 50 causes a radial inward bending of the locking tongues 54 of the locking sleeve 42.

Fig. 3 veranschaulicht die Funktionsweise des Verriegelungsmechanismus zwischen Gehäusekuppler 100 und erfindungsgemäßen Koaxialstecker 200. In eingestecktem Zustand greift die Rastzunge 54 mit der Rastkante 56 hinter die Rastkante 34 der Nut 34 ein. Hierdurch ist eine verriegelnde Halterung zwischen dem Gehäusekuppler 100 und dem Koaxialstecker 200 hergestellt, ohne dass dafür eine Schraubverbindung hergestellt werden muss. Stattdessen ist der Koaxialstecker 200 lediglich auf den Gehäusekuppler 100 aufzuschieben. Durch eine rampenförmige Ausbildung der Rastkante 56 gleitet diese automatisch an der Rastkante 30 vorbei, wobei die Rastzungen 44 elastisch radial nach innen gebogen werden, und in die Nut 34 hinein. Zum wieder Lösen dieser mechanischen Rastverbindung dient die Entriegelungshülse 44. Hierzu wird die Entriegelungshülse 44 relativ zur Rasthülse 42, beziehungsweise dem Außenleitergehäuseteil 36, axial in Richtung des koaxialkabelseitigen Endes 50 des Koaxialsteckers 200 verschoben. Hierdurch gleitet die abgeschrägte Nut 60 über die Rampe 58 der Rasthülse 42, wodurch die Rastzungen 54 radial nach innen gebogen werden. Dies führt dazu, dass die Rastkante 56 von dem Eingriff mit der Rastnase 30 gelöst wird, so dass der Koaxialstecker 200 aus dem Gehäusekuppler 100 herausgezogen werden kann.Fig. 3 illustrates the operation of the locking mechanism between housing coupler 100 and coaxial connector 200 according to the invention. Claims (6)

  1. Co-axial plug (200) for a co-axial plug and socket connector, particularly of the N type, wherein the co-axial plug (200) comprises a cylindrical outer-conductor part (36) of its shell which forms an outer conductor and which has a mating end (48) and a co-axial cable end (50), characterised in that a latching sleeve (42) is provided which fits round the outer-conductor part (36) of the shell and which is axially displaceable relative to the outer-conductor part (36) of the shell, in that a spring (52) is provided which is supported by one of its ends against the outer-conductor part (36) of the shell and by its other end against the latching sleeve (42), in such a way that the latching sleeve (42) is pre-loaded in the direction of the co-axial cable end (50) of the outer-conductor part (36) of the shell, in that the latching sleeve (42) is formed to have axial slots at its mating end (48) so that elastically resilient latching tongues (54) are formed, said latching tongues (54) each having, at their mating ends, a latching edge (56) which extends upwards in a radially outward direction, and in that an unlocking sleeve (44) is provided which surrounds the latching sleeve (42) and is displaceable axially relative to the latching sleeve (42), the latching sleeve (42) having a ramp (58) which extends upwards in a radially outward direction and which slopes up in the direction of the co-axial cable end (50), which ramp (58) co-operates with a correspondingly bevelled groove (60) in an inside face of the unlocking sleeve (44) in such a way that displacement of the unlocking sleeve (44) relative to the latching sleeve (42) in the direction of the co-axial cable end (50) causes the latching tongues (54) of the latching sleeve (42) to bend inwards radially.
  2. Co-axial plug (200) according to claim 1, characterised in that there is formed, at the co-axial cable end (50) of the outer-conductor part (36) of the shell, a stop (46) for the latching sleeve (42), which stop (46) sets a limit for axial movement of the latching sleeve (42) in the direction of the co-axial cable end (50) of the outer-conductor part (36) of the shell.
  3. Co-axial plug and socket connector (100, 200) having a co-axial plug (200) and a bulkhead socket (100), particularly of the N type, characterised in that the co-axial plug (200) is formed in accordance with at least one of claims 1 and 2.
  4. Co-axial plug and socket connector (100, 200) according to claim 3, characterised in that the bulkhead socket (100) has a cylindrical shell (10) which forms an outer conductor and has a co-axial cable end (12) and a mating end (14), there being formed in an inside wall of the shell (10), adjacent the mating end (14), a groove (34) which extends round in an annular shape and which forms a latching edge (30).
  5. Co-axial plug and socket connector (100, 200) according to claim 4, characterised in that a mating end of the groove (34), which mating end forms the latching edge (30), is spaced 2.8 mm to 3 mm, and in particular 2.9 mm, away from the mating end (14) of the bulkhead socket (100).
  6. Co-axial plug and socket connector (100, 200) according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the shell (10) has on its outer circumference a thread (16) to engage with an inside thread in a union nut belonging to a conventional co-axial plug.
