Description

The invention relates to a dishwasher with a washing container.

A dishwasher has, as is known, a rinsing process whose program sequence consists of at least one partial program step "pre-rinsing", one sub-program step "cleaning", at least one sub-program step "intermediate rinsing", one sub-program step "rinsing" and one sub-program step "drying". To increase the cleaning effect while the rinsing liquid is heated before or during a Teilprogrammschrittes. The heating of the rinsing liquid is usually carried out by means of electric heaters. For drying items to be washed in a dishwasher different drying systems are known.

For example, the items to be washed can be dried by self-heat drying if the rinsing liquid is heated in a rinse-out subprogram step and the hot, rinsed items are automatically dried by the self-heat of the item to be washed during the drying process. In order to achieve this self-heat drying, the rinsing liquid is heated to a certain temperature in the partial program step "rinsing" and applied to the items to be washed by means of spraying. Due to the relatively high temperature of the rinsing liquid in the partial program step "rinsing" usually from 65 ° C to 75 ° C is achieved that a sufficiently large amount of heat is transferred to the items to be washed, so that the water adhering to the items by the heat stored in the items to be washed evaporated.

In another known drying device, a separate heating source, e.g. a hot air blower, used in the rinsing tank to heat the humid air mixture during the drying process, so that the air in the washing container can absorb a larger amount of moisture.

There are known dishwashers in which the moist air is discharged to the outside. This is disadvantageous because the surrounding kitchen furniture is damaged. Therefore, other dishwashers are known in which the moist air is passed before passing over condensation surfaces, where the moisture condenses. This condensation water is directed either into the rinsing container or into special collection containers.

From the DE 30 21 746 A1 a method for operating a dishwasher is known in which a heat-conducting connected to the washing tank heat exchanger is fed during a part program step "drying" with cold fresh water. As a result, a condensation surface is produced on the inside of the washing container, at which the moisture condenses and the resulting condensation remains in the washing container. Since the temperature difference between the moist air and the filled fresh water is relatively low and the amount of fresh water is constantly heated, there is the disadvantage that the condensation of the moist air takes a long time and is steadily lower, so that the outlet of moist air from the dishwasher increases and the duration of the partial program step "drying" is long, with moderate drying result.

A disadvantage of the heating systems described above according to the prior art described above is that the heating of the rinsing liquid is associated with a high energy requirement and the required heat energy must be regenerated for each heating phase by means of the electrical heating elements. Likewise, the known heating systems have the disadvantage that the heating of the rinsing liquid in the partial program step "rinse" and the operations in the sub-program step "drying" are themselves associated with a high energy demand and the required heat energy is lost after the drying process.

From the DE 198 13924 A1 is a dishwasher with a rinsing known, in which a Peltier element zuw Enteiehen of heat energy is provided.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a dishwasher with which it is possible to efficiently clean and dry the items to be washed located in the washing container, and to keep the associated energy expenditure as low as possible from an economic point of view.

This object is achieved by the dishwasher according to the invention having the features according to claim 1. Advantageous developments of the present invention are characterized in the subclaims.

The dishwashing machine according to the invention with a rinsing container has a line system connected in an air-conducting manner to the rinsing container in which at least one Peltier element is arranged, the Peltier element being used on the one hand for cooling and thereby drying and on the other hand for heating air conducted through from the rinsing container.

The use of a Peltier element only requires a considerably lower heating of the material to be treated compared to the prior art, e.g. for dishwashers in the partial program step "rinsing". This means a significant energy saving. By cooling the air, its moisture absorption capacity is lowered and the moisture content of the air precipitates as condensate. By heating the air whose moisture absorption capacity is increased again with each passing through the piping system, resulting in the improvement of the drying result and / or to shorten the drying time. In the closed air system, a replacement of polluted air from the environment is completely excluded, thus preventing back soiling of the treated material. With the present invention, a dishwasher is provided, with which it is possible to efficiently clean and dry the dishes located in the washing container and to keep the associated energy consumption as low as possible.

According to a preferred feature of the invention, air is passed from the washing container in the at least one partial program step "drying" in the line system and back into the washing, whereby the above-mentioned advantages in the dishwasher according to the invention are used as intended.

In a particularly advantageous manner, the washing container has an outlet with a line to a part of the Peltier element, a line from one part of the Peltier element to the other part of the Peltier element and an inlet with a line from the other part of the Peltier element, wherein in the line to one Part of the Peltier element, a fan is arranged, which supplies at least a portion of the air in the washing container to the line system at least temporarily. In the closed air system, a replacement of polluted air from the environment is completely excluded, which a Rückanschmutzung the treated material is prevented. The blower is easy to control, so that the use of the Peltier element can be precisely and easily controlled. In addition, the fan increases the effect of the Peltier element, since the air to be conveyed is conveyed faster.

According to another preferred feature of the invention, the air is cooled by means of the Peltier element. Thus, the actual function of a Peltier element, the cooling is used with removal of the absorbed heat energy. By cooling the air, its moisture absorption capacity is lowered and the moisture content of the air precipitates as condensate.

According to another preferred feature of the invention, the air is heated by means of the Peltier element. Thus, the further function of the already existing Peltier element - the heat absorbed when cooling the moist air and condensing the moisture from the moist air - used for further energy conservation.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a heater is arranged in the line between the other part of the Peltier element and the inlet. If the heating of the air by the Peltier element is not sufficient, the air is additionally heated with a heater to ensure the drying function. Despite the additional energy consumption for the heating energy savings compared to the above-described prior art is achieved.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a condenser is arranged in the line between the outlet and the one part of the Peltier element or alternatively in the line between the one part of the Peltier element and the other part of the Peltier element. If the dehumidification of the air through the heat pipe is not sufficient, the air is additionally passed to a condenser to ensure the drying function, which performs the missing dehumidification.

The invention will be explained below with reference to the embodiment of a dishwasher according to the invention shown in the drawing.

The single FIGURE shows a dishwasher 1 according to the invention in a schematic representation with a washing container 2 in which dish baskets, not shown, are arranged for the arrangement of items not shown.

According to the invention, the dishwasher 1 has an air line connected to the washing container 2 piping system 4, in which at least one Peltier element 10 is arranged, the Peltier element 10, as will be explained below, on the one hand for cooling and thereby for drying and on the other hand for heating durchgeleiteter Air from the washing compartment 2 is used.

As known per se, a Peltier element 10 is a heat pump with a heat extracted area - this is cooled - and transported to another area - this is heated, the heat at high speed and large amount of a part 11 - the so-called "cold side" - the Peltier element 10 to the other part 12 - the so-called "warm side" - the Peltier element 10 is passed. For this purpose, electrical current is applied to the Peltier element. Thus, if the introduced moist air to the "cold side" 11 of the Peltier element 10, this cools the moist air and thus reduces the moisture absorption capacity of the moist air, whereby the moisture contained in the moist air condenses. The "cold side" 11 of the Peltier element 10 thus removes the heat from the moist air (sensible heat) and also absorbs the heat of condensation (latent heat) and transports the heat to the other part 12 - to the "warm side" of the Peltier element 10.

The rinsing container 2 has an outlet 3 which leads to the line system 4 with a line 5 for a part 11 of the Peltier element 10, with a line 6 from one part 11 of the Peltier element 10 to the other part 12 of the Peltier element 10 and with a line 7 of FIG the other part 12 of the Peltier element 10 leads to an inlet 8 of the washing container 2, wherein in the conduit 5 to a part 11 of the Peltier element 10, a fan 9 is arranged, which supplies at least a portion of the air in the washing tank 2 the conduit system 4 at least temporarily.

In the closed air duct system 4, an exchange of polluted air from the environment is completely excluded, whereby a Rückanschmutzung the treated material is prevented.

In the conduit 7 from the other part 12 of the Peltier element 10 to the inlet 8 of the washing compartment 2, a heater 15 is arranged. If the heating of the air by the Peltier element 10 is insufficient, the air is additionally heated by the heater 15 to ensure the drying function. Despite the additional energy consumption for the heater 15, energy savings are achieved over the prior art described above.

In the line 6 from a part 11 - the "cold side" of the Peltier element 10 to the other part 12 - to the "warm side" - of the Peltier element 10, a condenser 16 is arranged. Alternatively, an arrangement of the condenser in the line to a part - to the "cold side" - of the Peltier element possible. If the dehumidification of the air by the Peltier element 10 is insufficient, the air is additionally conducted past the condenser 16 to ensure the drying function, which carries out the lack of dehumidification. This condenser 16 is in thermal contact with the environment.

In the following, the method performed during operation of the dishwasher 1 according to the invention will be described.

A dishwasher 1 has, as is known, a rinsing method whose program sequence consists, for example, of at least one partial program step "pre-rinsing", one sub-program step "cleaning", at least one sub-program step "intermediate rinsing", one sub-program step "rinsing" and one partial program step "drying". According to the invention, air is led out of the rinsing container 2 during the partial program step "drying" through the line system 4 and back into the rinsing container 2. For this purpose, the blower 9 is turned on. The airway is indicated by the arrows A, B, C and D. The air guided by the blower 9 via the line 5 to a part 11 - to the "cold side" - of the Peltier element 10 is removed from the "cold side" 11 of the Peltier element 10 very much heat energy, so that it cools very strong and there cold Air has a much lower moisture absorption capacity, it is a large proportion of the moisture condenses. For good heat conduction from the air to the Peltier element 10, heat-conducting ribs 13 are arranged. The Peltier element 10 conducts the heat removed from the moist air (sensible heat) and the heat produced during the condensation (latent heat) to its other part 12 - the "warm side" of the Peltier element 10. For this purpose, electrical current is applied to the Peltier element 10. The now very dry air passes via the line 6 from one part 11 of the Peltier element 10 to the other part 12 of the Peltier element 10 and is heated there. For good heat conduction from the Peltier element 10 to the air heat conducting fins 14 are arranged. The now heated and very dry air now passes via the line 7 from the other part 12 of the Peltier element 10 to the inlet 8 of the washing container 2 and thus back into the washing 2. The introduced into the washing container 2, heated air is now much dry and has a high absorption capacity for moisture. It rises in the washing container 2 upwards and absorbs the residual moisture on the items to be washed. It will now, as already described above, fed back to the Peltier element 10.

Through the use of a Peltier element 10 is only one compared to the prior art much lower heating of the material to be treated necessary in the described embodiments in the program step "rinse" only about 50 ° C, ev. Even lower. This means a significant energy saving. Due to the heating of the air whose moisture absorption capacity is increased again with each passing through the conduit system 4, which leads to the improvement of the drying result and / or to shorten the drying time.

With the present invention, a dishwasher 1 is provided, with which it is possible to efficiently clean and dry the items located in the washing container 2 and to keep the associated energy consumption as low as possible.
