Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bündelabnahmevorrichtung für eine Bürstenherstellungsmaschine. Bündelabnehmer entnehmen aus einem Borstenmagazin nacheinander einzelne Borstenbündel, um sie einer Bürstenherstellungsmaschine zuzuführen. Bei dem Bündelabnehmer handelt es sich im wesentlichen um einen Schieber, der an einer offenen Seite des Borstenmagazins hin und her gleitet und eine Bündelabnahmekerbe aufweist, in der sich beim Vorbeigleiten die das Bündel bildenden Borsten sammeln. Der Bündelabnehmer transportiert jedes abgetrennte Borstenbündel zu einer Verarbeitungsstation, beispielsweise einem Stopfwerkzeug, und wird dann zum Borstenmagazin zurückbewegt, um das nächste Borstenbündel abzutrennen. Bei jedem Arbeitshub des Bündelabnehmers wird so ein Borstenbündel abgetrennt.The invention relates to a bundle removal device for a brush-making machine. - A tuft picking device for a brush making machine, comprising a bristle magazine for receiving a supply of bristles, past which a tuft picker (10b) having a tuft picking notch (12b) is movable over a working stroke, at least one covering member (18b) which is adapted to be shifted across the profile of the tuft picking notch (12b) and in this way varies the effective depth thereof, and an adjusting device by means of which the covering member (18b) can be adjusted in each working stroke so as to be able to vary the effective depth of the tuft picking notch (12b) from one working stroke to the next, the covering member (18b) being formed by one end of a two-armed lever (19) which is mounted at the tuft picker (10b) for pivoting about a pin (21).
- The tuft picking device according to claim 1, in which the tuft picker (10b) is curved along a circular arc and can be pivoted about a fixed axis (A), and the adjusting device engages a guide curve (34) which is radially displaceable in relation to the axis and in which a cam follower (32) is guided in a constrained fashion which actuates the covering member (18b).
- The tuft picking device according to claim 2, in which the cam follower (32) is arranged at the other end of the two-armed lever (19).
- The tuft picking device according to claim 3, in which the cam follower (32) is formed by a roller (32) mounted for rotation on the two-armed lever (19).
