Abstract

Verbrennungsrückstände können im Brennbett (22) von Rostfeuerungsanlagen teilweise geschmolzen und/oder gesintert werden. Durch Rückführung (18) er ungeschmolzenen und/oder ungesinterten Verbrennungsrückstände erhält man ein vollständig gesintertes Inertstoff-Granulat. Zur Regelung (20) dieser Schmelz- und Sinterungsvorgänge wird vorgeschlagen, dass wenigstens einer der nachfolgenden Verfahrensschritte durchgeführt wird:
- Die Rückführung wird nur solange und in einer solchen Menge durchgeführt, wie die hierdurch bedingten Veränderungen wesentlicher Verbrennungsparameter in vorher festgelegten Toleranzgrenzen liegen.
- Die Verbrennungsbedingungen des Verbrennungsprozesses werden gezielt verändert, um den durch die Rückführung bedingten Veränderungen der Verbrennungsparameter entgegenzuwirken.
- Durch die selektive Rückführung geeigneter Fraktionen der Verbrennungsrückstände oder durch die Zugabe von Zuschlagstoffen wird die stoffliche Zusammensetzung der Verbrennungsrückstände so verändert, dass der Schmelz- und/oder Sinterungsvorgang der Verbrennungsrückstände vorteilhaft beeinflusst wird.
