Claims (18)

- Adapter according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the sealing layer (19) comprises a foil strip (21), preferably from polyester, which forms the sealing surface (22).
- Adapter according to any one of claims 6 or 7, characterized in that the sealing surface (22) is soft and resilient.
- Adapter according to claim 7, 8 or 11, characterized in that the sealing layer (19) consists of a sealing compound.
- Ink storage unit comprising
an adapter (1) according to any one of the claims 1 to 12; and
an ink cartridge (2) that can be inserted into the adapter (1), wherein the ink cartridge (2) comprises a housing (8) which is provided with an ink outlet (13) that is arranged at one of its surfaces and is filled with a guide element (16), and that is surrounded with a contact area that circumferentially extends in a closed manner and that presses against the outer side of the filter element (6), in the inserted position in the area of the blocked zone (17) of the adapter (1), so as to form a fluid-impermeable connection. - Ink storage unit according to claim 13, comprising an adapter (1) according to any one of claims 6 to 10, characterized in that the contact area is located on a circumferentially extending contact ridge (23) which is formed from a softer material than the sealing surface (22) such that the contact ridge (23) is elastically deformable when the ink cartridge (2) is being inserted into the adapter (1).
- Ink storage unit according to claim 14, characterized in that the contact ridge (23) comprises a contact edge (24) that presses against the sealing surface (22).
- Ink storage unit according to claim 14 or 15, characterized in that the ink outlet (13) extends through a sealing element (11) which is inserted into an opening of the housing (8) of the ink cartridge (2) and which carries the contact ridge (23) at its outer side.
- Ink storage unit according to claim 13, comprising an adapter according to claim 11, characterized in that the contact area comprises a circumferentially extending contact ridge which preferably comprises a contact edge and is made from a harder material than the sealing surface such that it is elastically deformable when the ink cartridge (2) is being inserted into the adapter (1).
- Ink storage unit according to claim 17, characterized in that the contact ridge is formed on the housing of the ink cartridge.
