Abstract

Ein Profilsystem für Trennwände, insbesondere Duschtrennwände, enthält wenigstens zwei miteinander verbindbare Profile (2, 4, 6), mit welchen bevorzugt plattenförmige Trennelemente (24) verbindbar sind. Das Profilsystem soll dahingehend weitergebildet werden, dass mit geringem Aufwand unterschiedlichste Anwendungen und Einsatzbedingungen realisiert werden können, wobei möglichst wenige Profile und/oder Komponenten zum Einsatz gelangen sollen. Zur Lösung wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Profile (2, 4, 6) als Teilprofile ausgebildet sind, dass die Teilprofile (2, 4, 6) einer Verbindungsebene (8) zugeordnete und im wesentlichen übereinstimmend ausgebildete Enden (30, 31) aufweisen und dass zwei dieser Teilprofile (2, 4, 6) zu einem Gesamtprofil (12) derart kombinierbar und miteinander verbindbar sind, dass in der Verbindungsebene (8) die Enden (30, 31) der beiden Teilprofile (2, 4, 6) einander zugeordnet sind.
