Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lighting device for vehicles with at least one lamp and a lamp receiving socket of a reflector, wherein the lamp has a base which is releasably fastened by means of a rotary closure in the socket and transversely to its longitudinal axis from the base protruding tabs, the can be contacted after rotation of the base in its end position with attached to the reflector contact receptacles having a contact terminal for electrical cables.
From DE-A-199 51 203 a lighting device for vehicles is known. The lighting device is a headlight in which the base of a lamp can be inserted by means of a rotary closure into a socket of a reflector. From the lateral surface of the base are transversely to its longitudinal axis several tabs out. The contact lugs are arranged on the lateral surface of the base in the circumferential direction offset from one another. When inserting the lamp into the socket takes place by their rotational movement, a setting of the lamp in the socket and the tabs automatically engage in contact receptacles of the socket. The contact receptacles have the contact lugs of the socket receiving contact clips spring plate and pins for cable connections. To the pins pins of electrical cables can be connected, which are connectable to the electrical system of the vehicle. The contact clips and the contact pins of the contact receptacles are attached to projections of the socket. In order to check the light function before assembling the headlamp, the lamp must be inserted into a reflector assembly and the contact pins must be contacted. To check the light function only after the assembly of the headlight would be detrimental, since in the mass production then a detected error would not be corrected, since either the Headlight not removable or disassembly of the headlight for cost reasons is too time consuming. A disadvantage of the headlamp described above is that the electrical cables must be individually connected to the contact terminals of the contact receptacles during assembly of the headlamp and the contact clips and contact pins of the contact receptacles must be attached to the reflector before assembly of the headlamp. Such assembly is too cumbersome and time consuming for mass production. If the electrical connection is disturbed during assembly of the headlight in the individually produced contact connections between the contact pins and the contact plugs of the electrical cable due to improper installation, and this error can not be corrected because of the then already assembled headlights or only very cumbersome.
Furthermore, an H11 lamp for lighting device in vehicles is known, the contact lugs protrude radially outward to the longitudinal axis of the lamp and are arranged one behind the other in the insertion direction of the lamp. The lamp can also be used by means of a screw cap in a socket of a reflector.
The object of the invention is to make the illumination device for vehicles described in the preamble of
The plug is particularly simple, quick and easy to install and the electrical contact receptacles are arranged protected, when the contact receptacles is arranged in a plastic plug housing, which is self-locking or self-locking plugged together with the holder. The tight fit of the plug housing to the holder can be self-locking or self-locking.
According to a preferred embodiment, the plug housing in a lamp having at least two contact lugs, which are arranged one behind the other in the insertion direction of the lamp, a plug-in space for each contact, wherein the plug housing each having a passage opening to the contact lugs in the insertion spaces. This allows the connector housing to build as small as possible. In this context, it is advantageous if the holder for the plug is formed by a finger-like projection which extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the base, protrudes outwards and parallel and extends at a distance to a tangent of the base, with its contact lugs automatically engage in contact recordings upon rotation of the base. As a result, the plug-in direction of the plug runs parallel to and to a tangent of the lateral surface of the base and the extension of the socket in the region of the plug can be as small as possible radially to the longitudinal axis of the lamp.
In another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the finger-like projection projects radially outward to the longitudinal axis of the base. Even with this solution, it is possible that engage in contact recordings automatically with a rotation of the base in its end position its tabs. In another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the plug before mounting the lamp in the socket in a first holding step on the finger-like approach halterbar and after inserting the lamp in the socket on the tabs and plugged in a second holding stage in its final position automatically the approach can be fixed, which serve as locking openings in the second holding stage through openings of the plug housing for the contact lugs, which prevent an automatic unscrewing the lamp from its end position.
The base of the lamp may consist of a base part fixedly connected to the lamp and a base adapter plugged onto the base part, which makes electrical contact with the lamp and has the contact lugs projecting radially outwards.
In a method for producing an electrical connection for a lamp of a vehicle lighting device, comprising at least one lamp and a lamp-receiving socket of a reflector, the lamp having a socket which is releasably secured by means of a rotary closure in the socket and transversal to his Longitudinal axis off Having the socket protruding tabs, which are contacted after rotation of the base in its end position with attached to the reflector contact receptacles having a contact terminal for electrical cables, it is advantageous that at least two contact receptacles are assembled to form a plug and the plug after a Inserting the lamp from one direction with the tabs of the lamp and reflector connected to the holder is plugged and fastened in its end position on the holder, wherein the electrical cables before mating the plug with the holder and the contact lugs of the lamp with the contact terminals of the contact receptacles be connected to the plug. As a result, the electrical cables can be used as pre-assembled cable groups, which also make the direct connection contact to the contact lugs of the lamp. As a result, the contact after assembly of the headlamp is safe.

The illumination device for vehicles illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 6 and 9 to 11 has a shell-
The second embodiment of a lighting device for vehicles illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8 has differences described below compared to the first embodiment described above.
