Nach einem bestimmten Einschubweg der Lampenfassung kann der Überwurfring 30 verdreht werden, so daß dessen Bajonetthaken 34 in den am Umfang des Halses 44 verlaufenden Bereich der Aussparungen 46 gleiten. Dabei wird der Überwurfring 30 am Hals 44 des Reflektors 12 verriegelt und die die Lampenfassung am Reflektor 12 befestigt. Die Lampe 10 kommt mit ihrem Sockelteller 11 an dem die Öffnung 42 umgebenden Rand des Reflektors 12 zur Anlage und wird gegen diesen durch die Membranfeder 26 gedrückt. Durch die Membranfeder 26 ist ein Ausgleich von Toleranzen der Lampenfassung, der Lampe 10 sowie des Reflektors 12 ermöglicht, so daß unabhängig von diesen eine Anlage des Sockeltellers 11 der Lampe 10 am Reflektor 12 sichergestellt ist. Das Gehäuse 14 ist vorzugsweise durch eine entsprechende Ausbildung nur in einer bestimmten Drehstellung in den Hals 44 einführbar, so daß sich die Lampe 10 in einer vorgegebenen Lage bezüglich des Reflektors 12 befindet. Die Rasthaken 50 erstrecken sich ausgehend von den Stegen 56 zum Reflektor 12 hin. An jedem Steg 56 kann außerdem jeweils ein sich vom Reflektor 12 wegerstreckender Arm 58 angeordnet sein. Jeder Rasthaken 50 bildet dabei mit dem zugeordneten Arm 58 einen zweiarmigen Hebel, mit den Stegen 56 als Schwenklager. Am Gehäuse 14 ist ein zum Reflektor 12 hin offener Flansch 59 mit einer Nut 60 gebildet, in die der elastische Dichtring 40 eingelegt ist.     an adapter with at least one electrical contact member (20) within the casing (14) for the lamp (10) to be fitted and with at least one contact member (22) protruding from the casing (14) for connection to the power supply by means of a plug,
    characterised in that the locking mechanism takes the form of a twistable coupling ring (30) which exhibits means for locking the bayonet-type locking device of the lamp holder to the reflector (12), and a spring element (26) is positioned in the casing (14) so as to press a base plate (11) attached to the reflector (12) of the lamp holder (10) directly against the reflector (12).
  2. A lamp holder according to claim 1, characterised in that the casing (14) and the coupling ring (30) consist of a plastic material and are both manufactured together in a two-component injection-moulding process.
  3. Lamp holder according to claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the casing (14) is cup-shaped and can be introduced with its open end into a neck (44) protruding from the reflector (12), whereby the sealing member (40) attached to the reflector is clamped between the casing (14) and the neck (44).
  4. Lamp holder according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the direction in which the plug members protrude is substantially at right-angles to the direction (18) in which the lamp (10) is inserted into the casing (14), at least for one of the contact members (22) of the adapter which protrude from the casing (14).
