  • the magnets in the embodiments described above may be secured in place by any suitable method, for example by using an adhesive, or by claws as would be well known by one skilled in the manufacture of jewellery.

  • the rings are brought into a sufficiently close proximity, such as when the couple holds hands, or are about to hold hands, the rings are magnetically attracted to one another and the couple feel an attractive force which tends to pull the rings, and the couple's hands, closer together.

For example, the jewellery does not need to have an aperture which extends through the annular magnetic arrangement.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un bijou, notamment une bague, un bracelet, un bracelet jonc, une montre, etc., comportant un ou plusieurs aimants (1) disposés de façon annulaire (2). La/les pôle(s) magnétique(s) d'une polarité (par exemple S) est/sont réparti(s) sur au moins un secteur principal, et de préférence sur 360 degrés de l'arrangement annulaire au niveau de sa circonférence radiale externe, alors que la/les pôle(s) magnétique(s) de la polarité opposée (par exemple N) est/sont placé(s) au niveau de la circonférence radiale interne de l'arrangement annulaire. Les aimants sont au moins partiellement entourés, mais de préférence complètement encastrés, dans un métal décoratif tel que de l'or, de l'argent, du platine, ou leurs alliages. Une force d'attraction perceptible peut être établie entre un couple portant une paire de bijoux se trouvant suffisamment proche l'un de l'autre et présentant des polarités magnétiques complémentaires, par exemple lorsqu'une personne porte une bague de mariage à pôle sud dirigé vers l'extérieur, et l'autre personne une bague de mariage à pôle nord dirigé vers l'extérieur.
