Description

The invention relates to a nozzle for the delivery of a flowable substance, preferably a liquid or pasty adhesive and / or sealant, in particular for the glazing of windows for motor vehicles, having a nozzle tip with an orifice for the exit of the substance, the opening at least in one Section has a longitudinal extent in the nozzle direction, preferably with a substantially triangular or V-shaped profile.

Such a nozzle is in principle of Laid-open specification DE-33 10 447 or the German utility model G 8625509.6 removable. This utility model relates to a nozzle for producing a special profile for the direct entry of windscreens.

Even this utility model is based in principle on a generic nozzle, which has an opening profile of the mouth, which is a triangular profile. By means of this triangular profile, a subtanzraupe is discharged from the mouth, for example to produce a seal at the glazing of a disc. The width of the base of the triangle profile and the triangle height are to be adapted to the respective structural conditions. Decisive for the geometry of the triangular profile are e.g. the width of the overlapping surfaces of the objects to be sealed against each other, as well as the width of the gap between these objects. The basic design of the mouth profile is not shown in the cited utility models, since the object set in this utility model and the solution presented focus on other aspects.

From the German patent application DE 100 40 512 However, for example, a nozzle for cartridges can be removed, to which it is explained that the outlet opening of the nozzle is produced by a closed tip of the nozzle body is cut off, wherein depending on the cutting angle, an outlet opening with a circular or elliptical cross section is formed. The opening profile of the mouth, in short the mouth profile, thus not only has a transverse extent to the nozzle body, but preferably also a certain longitudinal extent. Since in the DE 100 40 512 considered nozzle body is substantially approximately conical, is generated by the local gate for opening the nozzle body, a conic section as a mouth profile, namely a circle or preferably a more or less elongated elliptical shape. The above-mentioned triangular shape for a mouth profile can, however, in principle also be produced by a corresponding cutting of a nozzle body, whereby the geometry of the mouth profile which is best for the purpose can be generated individually by cutting the nozzle body. However, this requires at the same time experience and manual skill of the person who performs the trimming of the nozzle body. In particular, such a cutting is irreversible and may not be correctable if, for example, the opening profile is too large. This may mean that the nozzle thus cut is no longer usable and must therefore be disposed of and replaced with a new nozzle. Also, after the first attempt at use of the so-cut nozzle can show that this has no optimal geometry for the application, so that even with a supposedly correct first cutting the nozzle still this nozzle must be replaced by another nozzle. If several such sample uses are necessary to get a feel for the correct geometry, then even a larger number of nozzles could be necessary until the actual work, eg the glazing, can finally be made professionally.

The invention is therefore based on the object of disclosing a nozzle of the type mentioned, which is quickly and resource-optimized optimized for the particular application.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a nozzle according to claim 1.

According to the invention, therefore, the nozzle body or the nozzle tip could be precut relatively coarse, which could in principle be performed by a person with less experience and less manual skill, because, according to the invention, a control element is provided with the opening geometry of the mouth even later can be varied. In particular, the mouth opening for the respective purpose could be a little too big, because the control element could subsequently cover the mouth to a certain percentage. Also in the course of the activity of the use of the nozzle, the mouth can still be optimized by varying the mouth profile. In particular, it may happen that, for example, a sealing joint to be created in its course itself must change its geometry, so that it can be useful in any case, in adaptation to change in the course of use, the mouth geometry. It should be emphasized once again that it comes under the invention, with the control element both the clear width, that is to vary the area size of the opening profile of the mouth, as well as their shape. It may be possible, for example, by a suitable design of the control element to make a more triangular opening profile from an initially more oval mouth profile.

According to the invention, however, it is not only possible to relatively rough cut an orifice, ie to cut it open just before use of the nozzle and to provide it with an orifice, but instead it is preferably provided according to the invention that the nozzle is provided with a prefabricated mouth from the outset , The mouth thus gets already, for example, by machine precut, an optimized geometry, which is then varied by the control element, which is also prescribed, in the foreseeable for the respective application variations. For this purpose, the element in a simple manner, for example, a be fixable cap sleeve. This can be applied to the nozzle tip in the correct position and fixed once before use for adaptation to the present application. According to the invention, it is provided that the control element still remains positionally variable after its application and can be fixed in different positions. The control element is therefore still adjustable.

Also, the control element preferably has its own opening profile. This opening profile should preferably correlate with the opening profile of the mouth. This means that when the mouth has, for example, a triangular opening profile, and the opening profile of the control element is preferably triangular, if these profiles are not necessarily congruent or similar. In fact, it is preferably provided according to a development of the invention that the opening angle of the opening profile of the control element is greater than the opening angle of the opening profile of the mouth. In particular, the opening profile of the mouth can be made narrower and longer, while the opening profile of the control element is wider and shorter, that is formed somewhat squat in a certain way. This results in a possibility of variation, with which it can be achieved, in particular, with advantage, that the substance bead exiting from the orifice flows primarily and as quickly as possible to the point at which it is to be placed and then optimally distributed in this area due to the geometry.

The opening profile according to the invention, namely the opening profile of the mouth and / or the opening profile of the control element, may have a U-shape, ie a partially oval shape, or a V-shape, ie an angled or angular shape, in a section but according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the opening profile on opposite sides both a U-shape and a V-shape. These two profile shapes can be inclined to each other in the exit direction of the flowable substance. Here, a kind of plateau or a residual cross-section of the nozzle tip remain between these two profile sections, ie in the transverse direction of the nozzle tip aligned circular segments that connect the two profile legs in each case. In this way, a substance bead can be produced particularly well with advantage, which is optimized in three-dimensional manner in its geometry and target direction.

A further development of the invention provides that a V-shape, or triangular shape of an opening profile could be realized differently. It could, for example, the nozzle tip, which may for example be cone-shaped, be triangular notched within its lateral surface in the direction of its base, so that a V-shape is formed, in which the leading through the nozzle material cutting surfaces are facing each other substantially and each straight and ungeknickt run. However, a V-shape can consist in itself of composite profile sections, namely by the nozzle tip is first cut obliquely, so initially follows a piece of elliptical shape and then by further on a narrow side of the resulting ellipse the previously described V-shaped notch takes place within the lateral surface of the cone. It does not result in a pure triangular shape, but a V-shape, in which the upper portions of the legs initially follow more of a U-shape and then taper towards each other at its lower end in a triangular shape. In this case, the section of the upper U-course and the lower triangle course are not in one plane, but at an angle to each other. The cut surfaces of the top U-shape are also not facing each other, but have largely in the exit direction of the flowable substance, so gape up so to speak.

Even such, somewhat bizarre shape, can contribute to an optimal track shape, which initially favors the emergence of the caterpillar from the nozzle and subordinate forms the caterpillar so that it forms an optimal volume-filling.

The adjustable control element can be designed to be positionally variable and fixable in various ways. For example, the control element can be fixed in different positions by frictional engagement, in which case for a locking screw, e.g. a grub screw could be provided or else a press fit, e.g. with a screw which revolves around a cap sleeve and presses a cone or a tab into a press fit in the radial direction.

The control element can also be fixed by positive locking, for which purpose, in particular, a screening can be provided. For this purpose, an interaction between a locking lug and a latching opening comes into consideration. Again, for example, a locking screw with locking holes could be considered or e.g. also a kind of ratchet.

FIG. 1 shows a first embodiment of a nozzle according to the invention in a perspective view.

The nozzle essentially comprises a nozzle tip 1 and a cap sleeve 2 pushed over the nozzle tip 1. This cap sleeve 2 can be adjusted along the nozzle tip and fixed with a locking screw 3.

The nozzle tip 1 has on one side an orifice 4 for exiting a flowable substance and at its other end an internally threaded portion 5, with which it can be screwed, for example, to a thread of a cartridge or the like.

The mouth 4 has an opening profile for the exit of the substance, which is composed of different sections. This opening profile comprises a U-shape 6, a V-shape 7 on opposite sides of the nozzle tip 1 and a kind plateau section 8, which consists of circular segments which connect the legs of the profile section 6 and 7 together.

The cap sleeve 2 itself has a similar opening profile, namely consisting of a U-shape 9, a V-shape 10 and a plateau portion 11. In particular, the opening angle of the V-shape 10 is greater than the opening angle of the V-shape 7. Durch Moving the cap sleeve 2 along the nozzle tip 1, the clear opening of the mouth 4, which is the outlet of the substance available, changeable, in their area size and in their geometric shape.

FIG. 2 shows a front view of the nozzle tip 1 according to FIG. 1 , The same components are, as in the other figures, designated by the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 ,

In particular, once again the different profile sections of the mouth 4 can be seen, as well as dashed lines an insight into the female threaded portion. 5

FIG. 3 shows a side view of the nozzle tip 1 according to FIG. 2 , In this illustration, the focus is to be directed to a flattened guideway 12, which serves as a guide for the cap sleeve 2 and can also be used for a frictional locking the cap sleeve.

The FIG. 4 shows an alternative side view of a nozzle tip 1, which also shows a flattened guide track 12, which, however, has a grid in the form of equidistantly arranged Racksacklöchern 15. In such Rastersacklöcher 15, for example, a locking screw 14 according to FIG. 9 be introduced.

By this flat track 12, the nozzle tip 1 is replaced in the in FIG. 5 illustrated plan view, at least in an upper region of the shape of a two-bladed, so a non-circular shape to which the cap sleeve 2 is adapted so that the cap sleeve 2 is not only well and safely out, but is also guided against rotation. This ensures in particular that the vertices of the V-shapes 7 and 10 are always parallel to the axis on a line when the cap sleeve 2 is displaced and do not rotate relative to each other.

In the FIGS. 6 to 8 is the cap sleeve 2 according to FIG. 1 in a side view, in a plan view and in a front view shown. In the FIG. 6 It can be seen that the cap sleeve 2 has a flattening 13, which also in her, as in the plan view at FIG. 7 recognizable, leads in cross-section to a shape of a two-salmon.

In the front view 8 of the cap sleeve 2 are again from another view, the opening profile sections 9, 10 and 11 of the cap sleeve 2 can be seen.

FIG. 9 shows in a perspective view of another embodiment of a cap sleeve 2. Also, this embodiment has an opening profile of a plurality of profile sections. Again, a U-shape 9 is present, and a plateau 11 and a V-shape 10 is in principle present, but this is now composed of two sections 10a and 10b. The upper portion 10a follows a U-shape, but then continues through the V-tip shaped portion 10b. As a result, the V-section 10 is not in a plane, but is bent in itself.

Moreover, also in the FIG. 9 a simple locking screw 14 for fixing the cap sleeve 2 indicated on a guideway.
