Furthermore, the shafts of said two fans 5 and 6 are connected in any of the manners known as such in the art, even via appropriate mechanisms and gears, to a single motor 7 so that the rotation of this motor causes said two fans to correspondingly rotate in a synchronous manner.
  • This motor 7 is controlled by appropriate control means (not shown), which are adapted to let it revolve in its two possible directions of rotation; as a result, this allows said two fans to be caused to selectively rotate in either direction, but in all cases in a mutually consistent manner (i.e., when a first fan rotates in a definite direction, the second fan will always rotate in a single and sole direction; and when the first fan changes its direction of rotation, the second fan will change its own direction of rotation, too.

  • said resistance 10 can be connected on the start of the drying cycle and disconnected when the temperature of the drying air, as detected by a proper temp. sensor not shown, reaches a pre-defined value, or after a pre-defined time elapsed from the start of the drying cycle.
  • Said first automatic means 25 may advantageously be programmed so that they selectively operate in the final phase of the drying cycle; in the facts in said phase the drying air, although very hot, may be not able to fully draw away the little residual humidity still in the laundry, and so it results very useful to be able to supply a short final over-heating to optimize the drying cycle; furthermore in this phase a too effective air ventilation is not strictly required, as the laundry is almost dried and so there is no need either to take away some remarkable amount of humidity, or to strongly condense such little humidity.-
  • Said first automatic means 25 can either operate autonomously, or they can be disconnected by manually activating second means 26, so to restore the normal mode of operation, should this be requested by specific requirements.

Claims (9)

  1. Machine à sécher le linge, ou machine combinée à laver et sécher le linge, comprenant un tambour (1) contenant le linge à sécher, un conduit (2) pour la circulation de l'air de séchage, un premier ventilateur (5) adapté pour insuffler un premier courant d'air de séchage à travers ledit tambour et dans ledit conduit (2), une résistance principale (9) placée dans ledit conduit (2), un moteur (7) apte à faire tourner sélectivement dans des directions opposées ledit tambour et ledit premier ventilateur (5), une résistance électrique auxiliaire de chauffage (10) placée dans ledit conduit (2), ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage étant connectable sélectivement, caractérisée en ce que ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage peut être connectée et/ou déconnectée en série sur une ligne de l'alimentation électrique dudit moteur (7).
  2. Machine à sécher le linge, ou machine combinée à laver et sécher le linge, selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend des moyens (30) de déviation électrique munis de deux pôles, dans lequel un premier pôle (12) est raccordé à une première borne (R1) de ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage, un deuxième pôle (13) est connecté à l'un des moyens de connexion (20) dudit moteur (7), et un troisième pôle (14) est raccordé à la deuxième borne (R2) de ladite résistance auxiliaire (10), ledit deuxième pôle (13) pouvant être raccordé sélectivement audit premier (12) ou audit troisième (14) desdits pôles.
  3. Machine selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend des moyens d'interruption électrique, de préférence un commutateur électrique (34) placé en série avec l'alimentation électrique dudit moteur électrique (7), ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage (10) étant raccordée à deux pôles respectifs (32, 33) desdits moyens d'interruption électrique (31).
  4. Machine selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est munie de premiers moyens de commande (25) pouvant raccorder automatiquement ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage (10) dans les phases initiales et/ou dans la phase finale d'un cycle de séchage.
  5. Machine selon la revendication 4, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est munie de deuxièmes moyens de commande (26) qui sont actionnables sélectivement et qui peuvent arrêter le fonctionnement desdits premiers moyens de commande (25).
  6. Machine selon la revendication 4 ou 5, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est munie de troisièmes moyens de commande (27) qui sont actionnables sélectivement et qui peuvent connecter/déconnecter sélectivement ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage (10).
  7. Machine selon l'une des revendications 4 à 6, caractérisée en ce que lesdits premiers moyens de commande (25) peuvent raccorder automatiquement ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage (10) en fonction de la température de l'air à l'intérieur dudit conduit (2) ou à l'intérieur dudit tambour (1).
  8. Machine selon l'une des revendications 4 à 7, caractérisée en ce que lesdits premiers moyens de commande (25) peuvent déconnecter automatiquement ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage en fonction du temps écoulé depuis un instant prédéterminé, de préférence imposé par l'instant de démarrage du cycle.
  9. Machine selon l'une des revendications 4 à 8, caractérisée en ce que lesdits premiers moyens de commande (25) peuvent déconnecter automatiquement ladite résistance auxiliaire de chauffage (10) au démarrage du cycle de séchage.
