Definitions

  • the invention relates to a measuring arrangement, a roller bearing and a method for determining the direction of movement of a roller bearing component according to the features of the preambles of claims 1, 6 and 9.
  • a so-called measuring roller bearing is known from DE 2746 937 C2, in which a force acting on the roller bearing is detected by means of strain-sensitive sensors which are arranged on or in the stationary bearing shell thereof. These strain-sensitive sensors are designed as strain gauging resistors and interconnected in a Wheatstone measuring bridge.
  • DE 10041 093 A1 shows a roller bearing with strain-sensitive sensors with which, among other things, the rotational speed of a rotatable roller bearing shell can be determined.
  • These sensors are two mutually assigned strain gauges or strain gauges, which are attached to the fixed outer bearing shell.
  • the two strain gauges can be arranged with respect to one another in such a way that they are connected in series and are each offset in the bearing shell by half the angular distance of the rolling elements in the direction of rotation.

  • This measuring arrangement is distinguished with regard to the detection of the direction of rotation in that several pairs of strain-sensitive sensor elements are attached to or on a bearing shell at an angular distance from one another which is approximately 14 of the angular distance of the rolling elements located in the rolling bearing.
