- A winding up or unwinding chamber (2) for a laminating machine for strip-like material having a device located therein for changing a web roll, this device including two guide rails (44, 45) to accommodate bearings (42, 43) of a web roll, wherein each of the guide rails is divided into two rail sections (47, 49; 46, 48), one section (49, 48) of each rail being able to be swivelled relative to the other section (47, 46), and wherein the swivelling sections (49, 48) are positioned essentially outside the winding up or unwinding chamber (2) when swivelled outwards, the chamber being closable with a door.
