Die Hauptklemmen 18 sind über frontseitige, im Gehäusedeckel 14 ausgesparte Schrauböffnungen 24 mittels eines Schraubendrehers zu betätigen. Das Schaltschütz 10 weist weiterhin einen Magnetantrieb 26 auf. Der Magnetantrieb 26 besteht aus einem im Gehäuseunterteil 12 befestigten U-förmigem Magnetjoch 27, einer beide Außenschenkel des Magnetjoches 27 mit zwei Teilspulen umgreifenden Magnetspule 28 sowie einem Magnetanker 29, der mit den Kontaktbrücken gekoppelt ist. Das Anschlussmodul 30 dient in noch näher zu erläuternder Weise zum Herstellen einer elektrischen Verbindung der Magnetspule 28 mit Steuerleitungen. Dazu weist das Anschlussmodul 30 an gegenüberliegenden Steueranschlussseiten 31 Steueranschlussöffnungen 32 auf, über welche die Steuerleitungen in Steuerklemmen 40 einzuführen sind. Die Steuerklemmen 40 sind vorzugsweise als Schraubklemmen oder als Käfigzugfederklemmen ausgeführt. Zum Betätigen der Steuerklemmen 40 beim Anschließen oder Lösen der Steuerleitungen sind in dem Anschlussmodul 30 frontseitige Betätigungsöffnungen 33 zum Einführen eines Werkzeuges vorgesehen. Die Steuerklemmen 40 befinden sich mit Blickrichtung auf die Gehäusefront 15 vor den Hauptklemmen 18. Jede Steuerklemme 40 geht in von dem Abdeckteil 35 abgewandter Richtung einstückig in einen leistenförmigen Verbindungsleiter 41 über. Die Verbindungsleiter 41 treten durch Austrittsöffnungen 38 rückseitig aus dem Grundkörper 34. Jede Steuerklemme 40 geht zum Inneren des Abdeckteils 35 nach innen einstückig in eine streifenförmige Verlängerung 42 über. Die Verlängerungen 42 sind endseitig unter Bildung von je einer schlitzförmigen, buchsenartigen Aussparung 43 aufgeweitet. Die Aussparungen 43 liegen im zusammengebauten Zustand des Anschlussmoduls 30 in Verlängerung von schlitzförmigen Stecköffnungen 44, die im Abdeckteil 35 frontseitig ausgebildet sind. Von dem Abdeckteil 35 ragen zwei Montagehaken 39 ab, die in entsprechende Aufnahmen des Gehäuseoberteils 13 eingreifen.In FIG. 3 to FIG. 5 the connection module 30 is shown in detail. Die Steuerklemmen 80 sind vorzugsweise als Schraubklemmen oder als Käfigzugfederklemmen ausgeführt. Zum Betätigen der Steuerklemmen 80 beim Anschließen oder Lösen der Steuerleitungen sind in dem Anschlussmodul 70 frontseitige Betätigungsöffnungen 73 vorgesehen. Die Steuerklemmen 80 befinden sich mit Blickrichtung auf die Gehäusefront 55 vor den Hauptklemmen 58. Jeder Steuerklemmen 80 geht innerhalb des Abdeckteils 75 nach innen einstückig in eine streifenförmige Verlängerung 82 über. Die Verlängerungen 82 weisen jeweils eine schlitzförmige, buchsenartige Aussparung 83 auf. Die Aussparungen 83 liegen im zusammengebauten Zustand des Anschlussmoduls 70 in Verlängerung von schlitzförmigen Stecköffnungen 84, die im Abdeckteil 75 frontseitig ausgebildet sind. Am Grundkörper 74 ist auf jeder Steueranschlussseite 71 ein Montagehaken 79 ausgebildet. Das in die Abstufung 59 eingesetzte Anschlussmodul 70 wird beim nachfolgenden Schließen des Gehäuseoberteiles 53 durch den Gehäusedeckel 54 mit den Montagehaken 79 arretiert.In FIGS. 7 to 9 the connection module 70 is shown in detail.   1. A contactor having
    - a main housing (11; 51) containing a lower housing part (12) and an upper housing part (13; 53), a solenoid actuator (26) being accommodated at least in part by the lower housing part (12) and main contacts and main terminals (18; 58) being accommodated by the upper housing part (13; 53), and
    - a connection module (30; 70), which contains control terminals (40; 80) connectable to the solenoid (28; 68) of the solenoid actuator (26), extends, with its control connection sides (31; 71) defined by the control connection openings (32; 72) to the control terminals (40; 80), parallel to the main connection sides (20; 60) of the main housing (11; 51) defined by the main connection openings (22; 62) to the main terminals (18; 58) and comprises actuating openings (33; 73) to the control terminals (40; 80) accessible to tools perpendicularly to the housing front (15; 55),
    characterised in that
    - the upper housing part (13; 53) is set back forming a step (19; 59) on one housing side (16; 56), which extends perpendicularly both to the housing front (15; 55) and to the main connection sides (20; 60),
    - the connection module (30; 70) may be attached to the upper housing part (13; 53) in such a way as to at least partly take up the step (19; 59), the control terminals (40; 80) being located in front of the plane of the main terminals (18; 58) when viewed in the direction of the housing front (15; 55), and
    - connecting conductors (41; 81) projecting out of the connection module (30; 70) into the main housing (11; 51) connect the control terminals (40; 80) to control sockets (45; 85) located in the lower housing part (12) and connected to the solenoid (28; 68).
  2. A contactor according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the connection module (30; 70) has a cover part (35; 75) comprising the front-situated actuating openings (33; 73) and a base member (34; 74), from the rear of which the connecting conductors (41; 81) emerge, and in that base member (34; 74) and cover part (35; 75) may be connected together, fixing the control terminals (40; 80) located therebetween.
  3. A contactor according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the cover part (35; 75) may be latched together with the base member (34; 74).
  4. A contactor according to one of claims 2 and 3, characterised in that the control connection openings (32; 72) are recessed between connected-together cover part (35; 75) and base member (34; 74).
  5. A contactor according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the control terminals (40) are connected in one piece with the strip-type connecting conductors (41).
  6. A contactor according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the control terminals (80) develop into claw-like blade sockets (86) for accommodating the conductor ends (87), at the control terminal end, of the strip-type connecting conductors (81).
  7. A contactor according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that extensions (42; 82) with socket-type recesses (43; 83) extend from the control terminals (40; 80), which recesses (43; 83) are in line with insertion openings (44; 84), formed in the front of the cover part (35; 75), for an add-on module (90) to be positioned on the connection module (30; 70).
