- Corner cupboard, and in particular a kitchen corner cupboard, having an interior space (3) whose ground plan is rectangular, of which approximately half can be accessed from the front via a corner cupboard door (2), and in which at least one one-piece tray (4, 5) of a basic configuration similar to a semi-circle is supported and can be moved, by means of a fitting which comprises a supporting column (12) having an at least approximately vertical axis of pivot (11), from an interior position to an exterior position in which the at least one tray (4, 5) projects outwards beyond the plane (6) of the door opening of the corner cupboard (1), characterised in that the or each tray (4, 5) is supported by two control arms (9,10) which are hingeably engaged with its underside (7, 8), the first control arm (9) can be pivoted around the supporting column (12) and the second control arm (10) can be pivoted about an axis (13) of a supporting mounting (14), which axis (13) is parallel to the axis of pivot (11) of the supporting column (12) and which supporting mounting (14) is mounted close to the door opening on that side-wall (15) of the corner cupboard (1) which forms a boundary of the door opening, and the tray (4, 5) performs a movement which is jointly controlled by the two control arms (9, 10) when it is transferred from the interior position to the exterior position.
- Corner cupboard according to claim 1, characterised in that the supporting column (12) is arranged close to the upright (20) of the corner cupboard which carries the hinge members for the door (2) of the corner cupboard.
- Corner cupboard according to claim 2, characterised in that the first control arm (9) has a straight outer portion (22) which is directed approximately radially, and a curved inner portion (21) adjacent the supporting column (12) which fits round the upright (20) of the corner cupboard when the tray (4, 5) is in its exterior position.
- Corner cupboard according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that, in the rear region of the tray (4, 5), that end of the first control arm (9) which is at the tray end engages with a point which approaches the rear outer edge of the tray and when the tray is in the interior position it makes an obtuse angle with the plane (6) of the door opening of the corner cupboard (1).
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the range of pivot of the first control arm (9) covers an angle of pivot of approximately 130° to 160° and preferably of approximately 145°.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the second control arm (10) has a long, straight outer portion (24) and a short inner portion (25) which is at an angle to the latter and is adjacent the supporting mounting (14).
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the second control arm (10) engages, in the central region of the tray (4, 5), with a point which is close to the front outer edge of the tray, and when the tray is in the interior position makes an acute angle with the plane (6) of the door opening of the corner cupboard (1).
- Corner cupboard according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the range of pivot of the second control arm (10) covers an angle of pivot of approximately 90° to 110° and preferably of approximately 100°.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the movement of the tray (4, 5) between the interior and exterior positions which is controlled by the two control arms (9, 10) comprises two phases between which the basic direction of the pivoting movement of the tray (4, 5) undergoes a change in direction.
- Corner cupboard according to claim 9, characterised in that, in a first phase of the movement, the tray (4, 5) performs a main pivoting movement about the axis of pivot (11) of the supporting column (12) which is brought about by the first control arm (9) and, at the same time, a subsidiary pivoting movement in the same direction about the axis (23) of the hingeable joint which the first control arm (9) has to the tray (4, 5), which subsidiary pivoting movement is brought about by the second control arm (10), and in that, in the second phase of the movement, the tray undergoes a main pivoting movement in the opposite direction of pivot about the axis (13) of the supporting mounting (14) which is determined by the second control arm (10) and, at the same time, a subsidiary pivoting movement in the same direction about the axis (26) of the hingeable joint which the second control arm (10) has to the tray (4, 5).
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the path of movement (27) which the tray (4, 5) travels along as it is transferred from the interior position to the exterior position is the same as the path of movement which the tray travels along as it is transferred from the exterior position to the interior position.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that at the change in the basic direction of the main movements of the tray (4, 5) the two control arms (9, 10) assume an alignment in which they are parallel to one another.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 9 to 12, characterised in that the lengths of travel along the path of movement (27) between the end points and changeover point (28) between the two phases of movement are each approximately equal to one another.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the outline of the tray is made up predominantly of curved lines.
- Corner cupboard according to claim 14, characterised in that the outer edge of the tray (4, 5) which is at the front when the tray is in the interior position has a portion (29) opposite the door opening which extends approximately in a straight line, a first curved portion (30) which extends around the upright (20) of the corner cupboard, and a second curved portion curved in the opposite direction which follows on from the latter and whose radius is approximately the same as the radius of the second control arm (10).
- Corner cupboard according to claim 14 or 15, characterised in that the outer edge of the tray (4, 5) which is at the rear when the tray is in the interior position is defined by three curved lines, of which the centre curved line (32) is of a curvature opposite from that of the curved lines (33, 34) adjacent to it on the two sides and, when the tray is transferred from the interior position to the exterior position, fits round the front edge of that side-wall (15) of the corner cupboard (1) which forms a boundary of the door opening.
- Corner cupboard according to claim 16, characterised in that the curved line which, when the tray is in the interior position, is situated opposite that side-wall (15) of the corner cupboard (1) which forms a boundary of the door opening is formed at least substantially by an arc of a circle which extends at least approximately parallel to the path of movement in the form of an arc of a circle of the point (23) at which the first control arm (9) engages with the tray (4, 5).
- Corner cupboard according to claim 16 or 17, characterised in that the curved line (33) adjacent to the point (23) at which the first control arm (9) engages with the tray (4, 5) corresponds at least substantially to an arc of a circle the centre of whose radius approximately coincides with the axis of pivot (11) of the supporting column (12).
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 18, characterised in that the supporting mounting (14) for the second control arm (10) is part of a connecting plate (16) which can be screwed to that side-wall (15) of the corner cupboard (1) which is adjacent the door opening.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 19, characterised in that the length of the supporting column (12) can be varied telescopically and it can be locked at the given length for installation.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 20, characterised in that the first control arm (9) can be pivoted around the supporting column (12) but its heightwise position is fixed.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 20, characterised in that, when the tray (4, 5) is transferred from the interior position to the exterior position, the first control arm (9) of the tray is connected to the supporting column (12) in such a way as to entrain the latter in its pivoting movement, and the supporting column (12) is mounted at its ends on the bottom and top walls of the corner cupboard (1) to be rotatable about the axis of pivot (11).
- Corner cupboard according claim 22, characterised in that, when there are a plurality of trays (4, 5), they are arranged one above the other in line with one another in the interior position and at least that tray or those trays which is/are situated below the top tray is/are not connected to the supporting column in such a way as to entrain the latter in its/their pivoting movement when there is a movement back from the exterior position to the interior position.
- Corner cupboard according to one of claims 1 to 23, characterised in that means are provided to enable at least a region or regions of the tray (4, 5) of the corner cupboard (1) to be entrained with the door (2) of the corner cupboard when the door (2) of the corner cupboard is opened and/or closed.
