Claims (41)
- Sicherheitselement für Sicherheitspapiere, Wertdokumente und dergleichen mit in das Sicherheitselement eingebrachten Motiven in Form von Mustern, Zeichen oder Codierungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Motive bei Betrachtung des Sicherheitselements von gegenüberliegenden Seiten her mit unterschiedlichem optischem Erscheinungsbild erkennbar sind, wobei die Motive von einer ersten Seite her betrachtet als Aussparungen in einer opaken Deckschicht erkennbar sind, und von der zweiten, gegenüberliegenden Seite her betrachtet durch eine im Wesentlichen transparente oder transluzente optisch variable Effektschicht mit einem optisch variablen Effekt in Erscheinung treten.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die opake Deckschicht zwei übereinander angeordnete Farbschichten umfasst, von denen eine erste Farbschicht in einer Flüssigkeit löslich ist, und die zweite Farbschicht in der Flüssigkeit unlöslich ist.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Farbschicht wasserlöslich und die zweite Farbschicht wasserfest ist.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Farbschicht einen hohen Pigmentanteil aufweist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Farbschicht Teilbereiche mit verschiedenem Farbeindruck aufweist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Farbschicht auf Nitrocellulose-, Polyamid- oder PVC-Basis gebildet ist oder aber auf einen UV-härtbaren Lack basiert.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Farbschicht maschinenlesbare Merkmalsstoffe, insbesondere lumineszierende, magnetische und/ oder elektrisch leitfähige Merkmalsstoffe enthält.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Farbschicht Teilbereiche mit verschiedenem Farbeindruck und/oder Teilbereiche mit verschiedenen maschinenlesbaren Merkmalsstoffen aufweist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste und/oder zweite Farbschicht einen dunklen Farbton, insbesondere Schwarz, aufweist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste und zweite Farbschicht deckungsgleiche Aussparungen aufweisen, die zumindest einen Teil der in das Sicherheitselement eingebrachten Motive bilden.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die opake Deckschicht eine Metallschicht umfasst.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 10 und 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Metallschicht über den beiden Farbschichten angeordnet ist und mit diesen deckungsgleiche Aussparungen aufweist, die zumindest einen Teil der in das Sicherheitselement eingebrachten Motive bilden.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 10 und 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Metallschicht zwischen den beiden Farbschichten angeordnet ist und mit diesen deckungsgleiche Aussparungen aufweist, die zumindest einen Teil der in das Sicherheitselement eingebrachten Motive bilden.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite, über der Metallschicht angeordnete Farbschicht einen gelben, rotbraunen oder braunen Farbton aufweist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Metallschicht aus Aluminium, Kupfer, Gold, Eisen, Chrom, Nickel, Silber, Platin, Palladium, Titan, einem anderen Buntmetall, oder einer Legierung dieser Metalle besteht.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Effektschicht optisch variable Pigmente, bevorzugt Flüssigkristallpigmente oder Interferenzschichtpigmente, aufweist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Effektschicht thermochrom, bevorzugt mit einer Umschlagstemperatur oberhalb von 25 °C ist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Effektschicht eine Beugungsstruktur, insbesondere in Form einer geprägten Reliefstruktur, enthält.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Effektschicht in Form von Mustern, Zeichen oder Codierungen ausgebildet ist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die opake Deckschicht und die optisch variable Effektschicht auf einem Träger, insbesondere einem transparenten oder transluzenten Träger, vorliegen.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Deckschicht und die Effektschicht auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten des transparenten oder transluzenten Trägers angeordnet sind.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die opake Deckschicht mit einer transparenten oder transluzenten Schutzschicht versehen ist.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 22, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schutzschicht zugleich einen Träger für die Deckschicht und die Effektschicht bildet.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 20 bis 23, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Träger oder die Schutzschicht mit weiteren Schichten versehen sind, insbesondere mit opaken, lasierenden oder lumineszierenden Farbschichten oder mit Merkmalsschichten, die maschinenlesbare Merkmalsstoffe aufweisen.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 24, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sicherheitselement neben der Effektschicht eine thermochrome Schicht aufweist, die unterhalb ihrer Umschlagstemperatur die eingebrachten Motive bei Betrachtung von einer der gegenüberliegenden Seiten her verbirgt.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 25, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die thermochrome Schicht auf der ersten Seite des Sicherheitselements oberhalb der opaken Deckschicht angeordnet ist.
- Sicherheitselement nach Anspruch 25, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die thermochrome Schicht auf der zweiten Seite des Sicherheitselements zwischen der opaken Deckschicht und der Effektschicht angeordnet ist.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 25 bis 27, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die thermochrome Schicht durch eine thermochrome Flüssigkristallschicht gebildet ist, bevorzugt mit einer Umschlagstemperatur im Bereich von 25 °C bis 60 °C, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 30 °C bis 60 °C.
- Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 28, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sicherheitselement einen Sicherheitsstreifen, einen Sicherheitsfaden, ein Sicherheitsband, ein Patch oder ein Transferelement zum Aufbringen auf ein Sicherheitspapier, Wertdokument und dergleichen bildet.
- Sicherheitspapier für die Herstellung von Sicherheitsdokumenten, wie Banknoten, Ausweiskarten oder dergleichen, das mit einem Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 29 ausgestattet ist.
- Sicherheitspapier nach Anspruch 30 mit wenigstens einem mit dem Sicherheitselement bedeckten Fensterbereich oder Loch.
- Wertdokument, wie Banknote, Ausweiskarte oder dergleichen, das mit einem Sicherheitselement nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 29 ausgestattet ist.
- Wertdokument nach Anspruch 32, mit wenigstens einem mit dem Sicherheitselement bedeckten Fensterbereich oder Loch.
- Verwendung eines Sicherheitselements nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 29, eines Sicherheitspapiers nach Anspruch 30 oder 31, oder eines Wertdokuments nach Anspruch 32 oder 33 zur Sicherung von Waren beliebiger Art.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Sicherheitselements mit eingebrachten Motiven in Form von Mustern, Zeichen oder Codierungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Sicherheitselement mit einer übereinander angeordneten opaken Deckschicht und einer im Wesentlichen transparenten oder transluzenten optisch variablen Effektschicht erzeugt wird, wobei die Motive als Aussparungen in die opake Deckschicht eingebracht werden, so dass sie bei Betrachtung des Sicherheitselements von gegenüberliegenden Seiten her mit unterschiedlichem optischem Erscheinungsbild erkennbar sind.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 35, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die opake Deckschicht auf einen transparenten oder transluzenten Träger oder auf die optisch variable Effektschicht aufgebracht wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 36, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beim Aufbringen der opaken Deckschicht eine erste, in einer Flüssigkeit lösliche, vorzugsweise wasserlösliche Farbschicht aufgedruckt wird, und auf die erste Farbschicht bereichsweise eine zweite, in der Flüssigkeit unlösliche, vorzugsweise wasserfeste Farbschicht aufgedruckt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 37, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf die beiden Farbschichten eine Metallschicht aufgebracht, insbesondere aufgedampft wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 36, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beim Aufbringen der opaken Deckschicht eine erste, in einer Flüssigkeit lösliche, vorzugsweise wasserlösliche Farbschicht aufgedruckt wird, auf die erste Farbschicht eine Metallschicht aufgebracht, insbesondere aufgedampft wird, und dann auf die Metallschicht bereichsweise eine zweite, in der Flüssigkeit unlösliche, vorzugsweise wasserfeste Farbschicht aufgedruckt wird.
- Verfahren nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 37 bis 39, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in einem Waschschritt die erste Farbschicht und die darüber liegende Metallschicht in den nicht mit der zweiten Farbschicht geschützten Bereichen entfernt werden, wodurch in der opaken Deckschicht Aussparungen in Form der Motive gebildet werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 40, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Farbschicht aus einer wasserlöslichen Druckfarbe und die zweite Farbschicht aus einer wasserfesten Druckfarbe gebildet wird, und dass der Waschschritt mit Wasser durchgeführt wird.
