Definitions
- the present invention relates to a Abdschreibkappe made of plastic for attachment to a container with a container neck with retaining bead, wherein the cap has a circumferential jacket wall, on which a pusher is formed and engages a rotating warranty strip on predetermined breaking webs.
- closures that are placed on relatively wide-necked, thread-free container and hold positively and / or non-positively on the container neck, the container neck has a corresponding circumferential retaining bead.
- the cap has a peripheral wall, in which a tab is formed for tearing off and a circumferential guarantee strip is formed over a predetermined breaking seam.
- Abdschreibkappen plastic of the type mentioned are available on the market today.
- the guarantee strips have a tab and an existing opening or predetermined breaking point in the region of the tab.
- To open a container with such Abdschreibkappe both hands are needed.
- the container is held with one hand, while the tab is gripped with the other hand and then demolished the guarantee band.
- the tapping cap can be opened one-handedly by applying force to the pusher with the thumb and elastically deforming the cap and pressing it over the retaining bead on the neck of the container.
- GB 2164028 discloses a push-off cap according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the entire Abdrückkappe consists essentially of two integrally manufactured elements, namely the actual Abdrückkappe 1 and the guarantee strip 2 integrally connected thereto.
- the actual Abdschreibkappe 1 consists of an upper deck surface 3 and a subsequent circumferential jacket wall 4.
- On the jacket wall 4 is a pusher 5 molded.
- the pusher has an actual pressure surface 10, which protrudes perpendicularly from the casing wall and is supported by support ribs 9 reinforced on the casing wall 4.
- the guarantee strip is realized as a closed ring and is via predetermined breaking webs 6 with the jacket wall 4 of Abdschreibkappe 1 connected. Between each two adjacent predetermined breaking webs 6, an elongated support cam 7 is integrally formed on the shell wall. Between the elongated support cam 7 and the guarantee strip 2 remains a thin, free gap 8. The support cams are so long that they fill almost the entire space between each two adjacent predetermined breaking webs 6. The extremely thin predetermined breaking webs 6 according to the invention would in themselves be destroyed if the guarantee strip 2 did not rest on the supporting cam during placement. When pressing the Abdschreibkappe on the container neck anyway, the predetermined breaking webs are slightly compressed. When placing the Abdschreibkappe a retaining bead 11 must be pressed on a corresponding retaining bead on the container neck, so that these two Garwulste engage each other form-fitting manner.
- the actual Abdrückkappe 1 keeps on the container neck in addition to a second retaining bead 12 which is integrally formed on the inner surface of the peripheral jacket wall 4.
- This second retaining bead does not require in the example shown here that this assumes a sealing function.
- an annular wall is arranged on the inside of the top surface 3 concentric with the circumferential jacket wall 4, which forms the sealing pin 13.
- the predetermined breaking webs are very resistant because of the order of the chain molecules, since here practically a pure tensile force occurs.
- the force is introduced, caused by a certain deformation of the cap by a combination of tensile and shear force.
- the leverage ratios are always more favorable. Accordingly, the diameter of the predetermined breaking points c - f and i - l is preferably chosen to be greater than the diameter of the predetermined breaking webs g and h.
- predetermined breaking webs a and b the conditions are again unfavorable and accordingly you will advantageously the
- predetermined breaking webs a and b should have a smaller cross-section than the predetermined breaking webs c - f and i - l.
- the predetermined breaking points vary depending on the choice of material in the range between 0.05 mm and 0.4 mm. This information is particularly applicable to the choice of polypropylene or polyethylene, both of which have been found suitable for ejector caps. However, other plastics are by no means excluded.
- the diameters of the predetermined breaking webs in the region of the pusher are typically of the order of 0.05 mm and 0.25 mm. Preferably, however, the diameter is settled rather in the lower region, namely in the range between 0.07 mm and 0.15 mm.
- the predetermined breaking webs c - f and i - 1 will be chosen more in the upper range, namely with diameters of 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm.
- the predetermined breaking webs which are arranged diametrically opposite the pusher are selected in a size of 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm, but preferably in particular between 0.15 mm and 0.25 mm. All of the above measures are of course only measures recommendations that must also be seen in relation to Abdrückkappe. In Abdrückkappen with much larger diameters, of course, predetermined breaking webs with larger diameters in question.
- the predetermined breaking webs are preferably designed conical.
- This conical design means that the actual separation point or predetermined breaking point of the predetermined breaking webs 6 can be placed exactly where it is desired.
- the predetermined breaking point which is designated by 14, placed directly on the tether on the guarantee strip 2. This ensures that the remainders of the webs remain on the jacket wall 4. This is therefore chosen because such closures often on relatively small bottles are attached, which are taken directly to the mouth to drink from it. Thus, the lips come into contact with the remaining on the container neck guarantee strip and a certain risk of injury would not be excluded if the remnants of the severed breakaway webs 6 would remain on the guarantee strip.

Description
The present invention relates to a Abdrückkappe made of plastic for attachment to a container with a container neck with retaining bead, wherein the cap has a circumferential jacket wall, on which a pusher is formed and engages a rotating warranty strip on predetermined breaking webs.
In the further course the Abdrückkappen were mostly displaced by snap hinge closures. Here, as well as with the screw caps, the guarantee bands were then formed over predetermined breaking webs. In order to produce these closures, relatively complicated tools were needed, which developed only in the 80s of the last century. On the one hand injection molds with star-shaped slides were used and later also with molds Collapsible cores and finally injection molding tools with collet-like inserts, which enclose the cap from the outside during the injection process and expand elastically to the outside during demolding.
Abdrückkappen plastic of the type mentioned are available on the market today. The guarantee strips have a tab and an existing opening or predetermined breaking point in the region of the tab. To open a container with such Abdrückkappe both hands are needed. The container is held with one hand, while the tab is gripped with the other hand and then demolished the guarantee band. Once the tamper-evident band is removed, the tapping cap can be opened one-handedly by applying force to the pusher with the thumb and elastically deforming the cap and pressing it over the retaining bead on the neck of the container.
It is known that in the manufacture of a plastic closure, the chain molecules of the plastic during the injection process in the predetermined breaking webs align longitudinally. The destruction of the predetermined breaking webs by train in the running direction of the predetermined breaking webs requires much more force than destruction by a force that occurs perpendicular to the course of the predetermined breaking webs and thus perpendicular to the molecular chains. This problem is relative to the screw caps. Both Turning closures via the thread a power transmission, whereby the required forces, although virtually all breakage webs are destroyed simultaneously, can be applied. In the Abdrückkappen the forces are applied on one side in the area of the pusher, yet the required forces are so far so large that a comfortable opening can not be realized.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to realize a Abdrückkappe of the type mentioned, which can be opened with one hand.
Diese Aufgabe löst eine Abdrückkappe mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruches 1.This object is achieved by a push-off cap having the features of patent claim 1.
The entire Abdrückkappe consists essentially of two integrally manufactured elements, namely the actual Abdrückkappe 1 and the
The guarantee strip is realized as a closed ring and is via predetermined breaking
The actual Abdrückkappe 1 keeps on the container neck in addition to a

Experience has shown that the predetermined breaking points vary depending on the choice of material in the range between 0.05 mm and 0.4 mm. This information is particularly applicable to the choice of polypropylene or polyethylene, both of which have been found suitable for ejector caps. However, other plastics are by no means excluded. The diameters of the predetermined breaking webs in the region of the pusher are typically of the order of 0.05 mm and 0.25 mm. Preferably, however, the diameter is settled rather in the lower region, namely in the range between 0.07 mm and 0.15 mm. When choosing these diameters of the predetermined breaking webs in the region near the pusher, therefore, the predetermined breaking webs c - f and i - 1 will be chosen more in the upper range, namely with diameters of 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm. In contrast, the predetermined breaking webs which are arranged diametrically opposite the pusher are selected in a size of 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm, but preferably in particular between 0.15 mm and 0.25 mm. All of the above measures are of course only measures recommendations that must also be seen in relation to Abdrückkappe. In Abdrückkappen with much larger diameters, of course, predetermined breaking webs with larger diameters in question.
If such Abdrückkappen mounted on larger containers, it may be desirable to easily put the Abdrückkappe back on the container can. In the case of the embodiment according to the invention, this can be achieved by enlarging the predetermined breaking webs a and b in relation to the other breaking webs in the diameter. In this case, then serve the predetermined breaking webs as joints. In the normal one-handed opening, these two webs a and b are no longer severed and the closure remains hanging on these two webs. In addition, since the guarantee strip is designed as a closed ring, this remains on the bottle and accordingly the Abdrückkappe remains in the aforementioned embodiment on the guarantee strip and thus indirectly attached to the bottle. Thus, the Abdrückkappe invention can be easily converted into a Abdrückkappe with so-called Schlacker closure.
In the present case, the invention is explained in particular with reference to a round closure. In principle, however, Abdrückkappen can also make oval or other shapes. If the shapes of a push-off cap deviate from the round shape, other force relationships and other leverage effects also occur upon opening and, accordingly, the cross-sections of the break-off webs can be adapted to these conditions.
The precision required here is unusual for a Abdrückkappe, which belongs to the extremely cost-effective variants of plastic closures. That this can still be realized is due to the fact that for the production here injection molds have been used with collet-like inserts. Again, this technology is unusual for plastic closures in this price segment.
The exceptionally fine attachment points and breakaway webs with high process reliability to realize, is only thanks to the Use of collets available. Despite the relatively expensive injection molds, this high process reliability leads to a high level of economic efficiency.
