- a channel 40 connects an orifice 41 located at the front part 42 of the rocket to the chamber 37.
- This channel 40 has a first portion 45 with a section smaller than a second portion 46 located further back. In the idle state, the first portion 45 of the channel 40 is completely closed by a plug 47. When the projectile is in flight, the dynamic pressure exerted by the air moves the plug back in the second portion 46 and thus opens the channel 40 so that the membrane 36 is subjected to the dynamic pressure of the projectile in flight.
- the lower part 48 of the chamber 37 is rounded and connected to a venting channel 49.
- the safety device 35 also has a transmission member 50 intended to act on the rotor as a function of the dynamic pressure. This member is constituted by a flexible metal blade 51 mounted on the lower part 39.
- This cam 21 includes a recessed portion 60 (FIGS. 1 A and 1 B) allowing the rotation of the rotor 14 when the timing device has released it. It further comprises a stop portion 61 (FIGS. 2A and 2B) comprising a first stop 62 arranged so as to stop the rotor 14 in its rotation when the end 55 of the blade 51 has not been lifted and a second stop 63 intended to retain the flexible blade 51 in its low position in a notch 64 formed by the first and second stops.
- the rocket operates in the following manner: Before the start of the projectile shot, the mobile elements of the rocket are in the rest position shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B. After the start of the shot, the cap 47 is rapidly moved back to open the air channel 40 so that a dynamic air pressure is established in the chamber 37. The membrane 36 and the portion 54 of the blade 51 are curved downward when this dynamic pressure reaches a predetermined value sufficient, for example 3 bars. The flexible blade 51 then forms in its middle part a loop 66 curved upwards (FIG. 3A) and its lower end 55 is raised above the level of the stop portion 61.
- the acceleration detector 31 is activated to start the delay device 32 which after a predetermined period releases the rotation of the rotor 14. The latter is not stopped by the blade 51 raised above the stop portion 61 and performs an angular rotation predetermined to place one or the other of the primers 18,19 in the pyrotechnic chain.
- the rotor 14 When the projectile speed is too low and the dynamic pressure does not reach a sufficient value, for example less than 3 bars, but the acceleration of the rocket has been higher than the minimum predetermined value, the rotor 14 is put in rotation, but its rotation is stopped by the stop portion 61, FIGS. 2A and 2B. In addition, the end 55 is blocked in the notch 64 under the effect of the spring 15 of the rotor 14.
