Description

The present invention relates to a bottle carrier according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a bottle carrier is made, for example GB 2 360 028 A known and includes side walls, each having at least one row of receiving openings. Furthermore, the bottle carrier comprises a subsequent to the side walls grip portion having at least one handle opening. The side walls are connected by a bottom portion from which an inner wall disposed between the side walls extends. The in GB 2 360 028 A Although described bottle carrier allows easy insertion and removal of bottles. However, the bottle carrier has a relatively weak fixation of inserted bottles, especially with regard to twisting and up and down movements of the bottles.

Out EP 0 630 825 A2 is a bottle carrier with a one-piece blank foldable flat material known. The bottle carrier has a top wall with at least two rows of receiving holes for bottle necks, side walls directed at the two longitudinal sides of the top wall, and a bottom wall directed at the other two longitudinal sides. To a group of bottles, the bottle carrier is cuff-like herumlegbar. The top wall of the bottle carrier has between two top wall halves a handle portion having two laterally hinged to each one half of the cover half handle halves, which are pivotable about their lateral articulation line with respect to their top wall half and gegeneinanderklappbar. The in EP 0 630 825 A2 bottle carrier described has the disadvantage of costly disassembly after use, which limits its recyclability. US 3986628 relates to a bottle carrier according to the preamble of claim 1.

The present invention has for its object to provide a bottle carrier, the reusable and space-saving is storable and allows a good fixation of imported bottles.

This object is achieved by a bottle carrier with the features mentioned in claim 1. Advantageous developments are specified in the dependent claims.

An essential aspect of the present invention is to be seen in that the side walls of the bottle carrier are resilient and the inner wall has at least one tongue-like end portion which is slidably mounted in the handle portion. In this way, the inner wall is guided in a mutual displacement of handle and bottom portion by the handle portion. In addition, the resilient side walls are stretched by a mutual displacement of handle and bottom portion, which may for example result in a change in a bending of the side walls about its longitudinal axis. When the bending of the side walls changes, the inclination of the receiving openings relative to the longitudinal axis of bottles introduced into the bottle carrier also changes at least in part. In this way, a fixation of the bottles in the bottle carrier can be varied as needed, for example, for a removal or transport of bottles.

Since only the fixation of a bottle in the bottle carrier must be reduced for removal, a bottle removal is possible without disassembling or destroying the bottle carrier. This allows easy recyclability of the bottle carrier according to the invention.

A space-saving storage of the bottle carrier is for example possible by folding the side walls on the inner wall by the handle and bottom section are moved against each other. In this case, a part of the side walls can also be folded onto one half of the bottom section, which can be facilitated by suitably arranged folds.

According to a preferred embodiment of the bottle carrier is made in one piece from a suitably sized carrier layer. Here, the inner wall has two inner wall halves folded against each other, which are integrally connected to one another in the region of the tongue-like end section. In addition, the bottom portion has two halves, wherein each one half of the bottom portion is integrally connected to an inner wall half. Furthermore, each side wall integrally connects to one half of the bottom portion. The handle portion has two handle halves, each integrally connected to a side wall. These structural features allow minimization of required in a production of a bottle carrier items.

The receiving openings are preferably elliptical or star-shaped. Elliptical receiving openings facilitate the fixation of introduced into the bottle carrier bottles at a change in the inclination of the receiving openings relative to the respective bottle longitudinal axis. Star-shaped receiving openings allow for receiving bottles of different diameters. A mixed form of the two types of intake ports is also possible and represents a reasonable compromise in order to combine the advantages of both types. A simple production of the receiving openings is possible for example by cutting or punching.

To improve the fixation of bottles located in the bottle carrier, a row of recesses for fixing the bottle bottom can be arranged in each case in a transition region between the side walls and the bottom section. In addition, the handle portion may comprise two foldable handle halves configured to encompass bottle necks are, whereby a further improvement of the fixation is achieved.

The handle portion, the side walls, the bottom portion and the inner wall may be made by injection molding, which allows a low material consumption in the production due to an attributable Verschnitt by punching or cutting. In particular, with respect to the side walls, the respective wall thickness can be adapted by injection molding to a desired spring characteristic.

Figur 3
den in Figur 1 dargestellten Flaschenträger in auseinandergefaltetem Zustand.
The present invention will be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing. It shows
FIG. 1
a bottle carrier in perspective three-dimensional representation,
FIG. 2
the in FIG. 2 illustrated bottle carrier with inserted bottles and folded handle halves and
FIG. 3
the in FIG. 1 illustrated bottle carrier unfolded state.

The in FIG. 1 illustrated bottle carrier has two resilient side walls 2, which are each provided with a series of receiving openings 21, in which bottles 5 are inserted (see FIG. 2 ). The receiving openings 21 are elliptical in shape and allow by a bias of the side walls 2 a good fixation of inserted bottles 5, since the receiving openings 21 are inclined relative to the respective longitudinal axis of the bottle. In this way, bottles 5 can be held in the bottle carrier in a press fit. According to a variant not shown in detail in the figures, the receiving openings 21 may also be star-shaped in order to enable a reception of bottles 5 of different diameters. The receiving openings 21 may be made for example by punching or cutting.

In each case in a transition region between the side walls 2 and a bottom portion 3 connecting the side walls 2, a series of recesses 22 is arranged. These recesses 22 are used for bottle bottom fixation by a part of a bottle bottom is plugged through a recess 22 and is covered by this and held.

On the side walls 2, a handle portion 1 connects, which is provided with a handle opening 11. In addition, the handle portion 1 has two hinged handle halves 12, which in the folded-down state, the necks of the carrier located in the bottle 5 (see FIG. 2 ) and thus increase their fixation in the carrier. Furthermore, the foldable handle halves 12 serve a simple stackability of several bottle carrier to each other, especially when bottles are used 5, which are curved at their bottoms inwardly and thus form a receptacle for bottle heads, which protrude from a respective adjacent bottle carrier.

From the bottom portion 3 is an inner wall 4, which is arranged between the side walls 2. The inner wall 4 has a tongue-like end portion 41, which is displaceably mounted in the handle portion 1. The inner wall 4 facilitates on the one hand a one-sided filling of the bottle carrier with bottles 5 along a row. On the other hand, the inner wall 4 serves as a guide element to move the handle portion 1 and the bottom portion 3 against each other, whereby the side walls 2 are bent about its longitudinal axis and thus tensioned. By the bracing of the side walls 2, a fixation in the bottle carrier befindlicher bottles 5. Conversely, a lifting of the fixation, for example, for removal of bottles 5 by reducing the tension of the side walls 2. This is done via a suitable relative movement between the handle portion 1 and the bottom portion 3, wherein the direction of movement of the dimensioning in particular of the side walls 2 and the bottom portion 3 is dependent.

The in the FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrated bottle carrier is made in one piece from a few millimeters thick carrier layer substantially by folding. As a material, for example, polyethylene is suitable. In FIG. 3 the bottle carrier is shown unfolded. Visible, the inner wall 4 has two against each other to be folded inner wall halves 42 which are integrally connected to one another in the region of the tongue-like end portion 41.

The bottom section 3 has two halves 31, which in each case connect in one piece to an inner wall half 42. In each case, a side wall 2 in turn integrally connects to a half 31 of the bottom portion 3. The handle halves 12 of the handle portion 1 then connect to a respective side wall 2.

The side walls 2 of the bottle carrier described here are foldable by a relative displacement of handle portion 1 and bottom portion 2 on the inner wall 4. It is also possible that a part of the side walls 2 is folded onto one half 31 of the bottom portion 31.

As an alternative to manufacture substantially by folding, punching or cutting, the handle portion 1, the side walls 2, the bottom portion 3 and the inner wall 4 may be made by injection molding.

The application of the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described herein.
