Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fuel storage from which by means of a suction fuel is removed, wherein the suction device comprises a pump and a suction line connected thereto, which has a suction end wherein the suction line is designed so flexible that they are in a neutral, undeflected position of the suction in Substantially U-shaped from the pump to the suction extends, so that the suction line has an elbow room, wherein the suction end is associated with a Saugschwimmer.
  • the JP 10-311210 discloses an oil suction device.
  • the oil suction device is connected at a lower end of a suction pipe with a pump connection outlet of a crankcase through a rubber hose.
  • An oil pan is designed in two sections with an oil reservoir below a surface.
  • the suction pipe is connected to the oil sucker, wherein the rubber hose is designed as a flexible element.
  • the suction line may be inclined in the oil reservoir to the pump connection outlet. Therefore, when the oil is pressed against a side wall of the oil pan, the oil suction can be moved to this side wall, so that oil can be sucked reliably.
  • An aspirator is rotatably connected to an end portion of a suction line.
  • the suction line is connected to a base end with the suction port of an oil pump and arranged with the end in an oil pan.
  • the suction aid has a cylindrical configuration and has a suction outlet in a horizontal transverse direction.
  • a vertical upwardly directed base end portion is horizontally rotatably connected to the other end of the suction pipe via a seal bearing which is airtight.
  • a weight which causes a rotational force by an acceleration of a vehicle is disposed near the suction port.
  • the EP 1 001 159 A2 discloses a fuel reservoir from which fuel can be withdrawn by means of a suction device, the suction device having a pump and a suction line connected thereto, which has a suction end.
  • the suction line is designed to be flexible, wherein the suction line is assigned at its suction end a filter on the underside of a float is arranged. The float gives the filter additional buoyancy, allowing the filter to move freely in the fuel reservoir.
  • a fuel storage for example, an oil pan, is stored in the engine oil. But it is also possible that the fuel storage is designed as a fuel storage, especially as a diesel tank.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an improved fuel storage available, in which by simple means suction of air at a deflection and a change in level of the fuel is avoided.
  • the suction line Due to the flexibility of the suction line, this can follow with the Saugschwimmer arranged thereon any change in level of the fuel in the fuel storage. Such a level change can occur in particular when cornering, uphill or downhill, during acceleration or braking of the motor vehicle. But even with a consumption of the fuel, the suction line with the suction float arranged thereon can adapt to the changing fuel level in the fuel reservoir, so that an intake of air is avoided.
  • the suction line is therefore formed from a tube.
  • the hose in this case has a sufficient elbow space, so that the suction line extends in the neutral position substantially U-shaped from the pump to the suction or Saugschwimmer.
  • the Saugschwimmer is able to follow the accelerations or braking or any motor vehicle movements and caused by consumption changes of the fuel level in the fuel storage.
  • the invention is based on the finding that the fuel in the fuel reservoir due to its inertia follows the respective movements of the motor vehicle. During acceleration or braking or uphill driving and cornering of the fuel is in this case each shifted to a side wall of the fuel reservoir, so that a different level of fuel is generated in the respective movements of the motor vehicle.
  • the suction end is always arranged sufficiently far below the fuel surface.
  • the Saugschwimmer single end has a float and otherwise a weight with a suction opening, wherein a connecting element between the float and the suction opening is arranged.
  • the weight is designed in accordance with the buoyancy of the floating body such that the suction is always kept sufficiently far below the surface of the operating material.
  • the connecting element has a connecting piece for connection to the suction line.
  • the Saugschwimmer has a float, through which a connecting element is guided, at the suction opening, a weight is arranged, wherein the suction line is connected to a suction opening opposite the opposite end.
  • the float is seen in cross-section designed such that a large fuel surface is covered.
  • the float is in this case quasi designed as a plate, preferably as an oil baffle plate and can take over the function of ⁇ lschwallbleches, which can be dispensed with in a cross-section so wide floating body, the oil baffles floating course on the oil.
  • Saugschwimmers is based on the finding that in the fuel, especially in engine oil, existing water separates and can solidify in regions with extreme cold to ice. In such a case, the internal combustion engine could be started without oil lubrication, since a conventional rigid suction line is frozen with its suction end in the ice, so that engine oil can not be sucked. As a result, however, extremely high wear values occur, in particular on cam bearings.
  • Saugschwimmer By means of the flexible suction line of Saugschwimmer is freely movable in the fuel reservoir.
  • the Saugschwimmer can follow in its particular embodiment any deflection of the fuel due to motor vehicle movements.
  • a movement of the Saugschwimmers seen in a vertical direction of the motor vehicle is advantageously possible, so that the Saugschwimmer spatially has three degrees of freedom.
  • the invention is particularly suitable for use in an oil pan.
  • fuel tanks especially in diesel tanks
  • an oil level check by a user between two service intervals can be dispensed with.
  • the fact that an intake of air is avoided and always the required amount of oil is sucked, also reduces, for example, a bearing wear, since the bearings are always sufficiently lubricated.
  • simple mechanical design also increases customer satisfaction.
  • FIG. 1 shows a fuel storage 1 of a motor vehicle.
  • the fuel reservoir 1 is executed in the illustrated embodiment as an oil pan, is stored in the fuel 2 as oil.
  • the fuel reservoir 1 is configured in a conventional manner with side walls 3 and a bottom plate 4.
  • a suction device 6 fuel 2 can be removed from the fuel reservoir 1.
  • the suction device 6 has a pump 7 and a suction line 8 connected thereto, which has a suction end 9.
  • the suction line 8 is designed so flexible that it extends in a neutral position 11 of the suction end 9 is substantially U-shaped from the pump 7 to the suction end 9.
  • the sucking 9 is associated with a Saugschwimmer 12.
  • the suction line 8 is configured in the illustrated embodiment as a flexible hose.
  • the hose has a property adapted to the respective fuel 2, so that the suction pipe 8 always is ready for use.
  • the suction swimmer 12 is provided a sufficiently large elbow room, so that the Saugschwimmer connected to the suction line 8 can be deflected at a deflection of the fuel 2 to one of the side walls 3 out.
  • Such an exemplary deflection position 13 is in FIG. 2 shown. Of the FIG. 2 It can be clearly seen that a deflection of the fuel 2 in the deflection position 13 exemplified a risk to suck air is avoided because a suction port 14 of the Saugschwimmers 12 is always sufficiently far below the fuel surface 5 is arranged.
  • deflection position 13 is merely exemplary understood. It is possible, for example, that the fuel 2 to one of in FIG. 2 opposite side wall 3 is deflected out, wherein due to the flexible design of the suction line 8, a suction of air is avoided.
  • the suction float 12 has a floating body 16 at one end and a weight 17 at the other end (FIG. FIG. 3 ).
  • the weight 17 is frusto-conical in cross section, with an end 18 facing the bottom plate 4 having the suction opening 14.
  • a connecting element 19 is arranged between the floating body 16 and the suction opening 14.
  • the connecting element 19 is designed in the illustrated embodiment as a tube having a connecting piece 21. With the connecting piece 21, the suction end 9 of the flexible suction pipe 8 is connected. It is possible sansstecken the suction 9 non-positively on the connecting piece 21, which of course is also conceivable, in addition to provide a fferklemmring on the outer circumference of the suction line 8.
  • the floating body 16 causes the suction opening 14 is always arranged sufficiently far below the fuel surface 5.
  • the weight 17 is adapted to the connecting element 19 to the float 16 so that the Saugschwimmer 12 following an equilibrium of forces can always float freely on the fuel surface 5, which is possible in particular by the flexible suction line 8.
  • FIG. 4 the Saugschwimmer 12 a compared to FIG. 3 seen in cross-section wider float 22.
  • the connecting element 19 which has the weight 17 at its suction opening 14 extends.
  • the weight 17 is designed semi-circular in cross-section.
  • the weight 17 seen in cross-section may have any other geometric surface.
  • the suction line 8 is arranged in a conventional manner.
  • the suction pipe 8 surrounds with its suction 9, the plug end 23 and the surrounding walls 24 of the float 22nd
  • the float 22 additionally assumes the function of a baffle plate, in particular an oil baffle plate, which is why advantageous to dispense with the use of an additional baffle plate.
  • the suction pipe 8 is different from FIG. 3 arranged with its suction 9 above the fuel surface 5.
  • the float 22 thus has a dual function. On the one hand causes the floating body 22 a free adaptability to different deflection positions 13 or to different operating levels. On the other hand, the float 22 takes over the function of a baffle plate.
  • the suction opening 14 in particular when cornering, downhill or uphill driving, accelerations or braking of the motor vehicle even with a deflection of the fuel to one of the side walls 3 out is always sufficiently far below the fuel surface 5, so that the risk of sucking air is avoided.
  • the suction opening 14 is always sufficiently far away from the bottom plate 3. Especially in regions with extreme cold, this is advantageous because the water contained in the fuel 2 can separate from the fuel 2 and freezes to ice due to extreme cold.
  • the Saugschwimmer 12 also adapts to different levels of fuel, which are generated in particular by consumption of the fuel 2.
  • the Saugschwimmer 12 seen in a vertical direction of the motor vehicle can move freely along the vertical direction. This also avoids the danger of low levels of operating air intake.
