Abstract

Um einen Verschließmechanismus eines Ofens oder eines Kamins weiterzuentwickeln, schlägt die Erfindung einen Ofen oder einen Kamin mit einer Feuerstelle und einem Gehäuse vor, bei welchem das Gehäuse einen Feuerstellenhauptzugang mit einer Verschlusseinrichtung aufweist, und die Verschlusseintichtung in einer Hauptposition, bei welcher die Verschlusseinrichtung den Feuerstellenhauptzugang verschließt, oder in einer Umkehrposition, bei welcher die verschlusseinrichtung den Feuerstellenhauptzugang freigibt, anordenbar ist, und die Verschlusseinrichtung Mittel zum Speichern von kinetischer Energie aufweist, und in der Umkehrposition mehr kinetische Energie in den Energiespeichermitteln gespeichert ist als in der Hauptposition.
