Claims (7)

  1. Wheelchair frame having two side frames, which are connected to each other by means of a cruciform frame (1) and which in each case comprise a substantially horizontal upper strut (2) and a lower strut (3) parallel thereto, the upper (2) and the lower (3) strut being connected by means of a substantially vertical front strut (4), the upper (2) and the lower (3) strut being connected in their rear region in each case to a detachable and adjustable wheel bearing strut (5) and the wheel bearing strut (5) being mounted on the upper strut (2) by means of a socket element (6), the upper strut (2) being profiled and flattened and the socket element (6) being provided with a profiled recess to hold the upper strut (2) suitably and being displaceable on the upper strut (2),
    characterized in that
    an inner profile (7) is mounted telescopically in the upper strut (2) and matches the cross section of the upper strut (2), and in that a bearing element (8) for a side part (9) is fixed to the inner profile (7).
  2. Wheelchair frame according to Claim 1, characterized in that the wheel bearing strut (5), the socket element (6) and the inner profile can be displaced independently of one another on the upper strut (2) and the lower strut (3) with a form fit or force fit in order to change the seat depth and chassis geometry.
  3. Wheelchair frame according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the inner profile (7) can be telescoped through the bearing element (8) with a form fit or force fit in order to hold further functional elements.
  4. Wheelchair frame according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a brake is mounted on the upper strut (2) so as to be secure against rotation.
  5. Wheelchair frame according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a back tube (10) is mounted on the socket element (6).
  6. Wheelchair frame according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the rear region of a seat tube (11) is mounted on the socket element (6).
  7. Wheelchair frame according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the socket element (6) is fabricated from plastic.
