Abstract

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zur Wärmebehandlung eines rieselfähigen Schüttgutes mit einem Gestell (4) zur Lagerung einer liegenden Trommel (1) beschrieben, die zwischen zwei einerseits einen Guteinlauf (19) und anderseits einen Gutaustrag (41) umfassenden Gehäuseteilen (2,3) des Gestells (4) angeordnet ist und ein Bündel von achsparallelen Rohren (7) aufweist, die über einen Verteiler- und einen Sammelkopf (8,9) an Zu- und Ableitungen (10,11) für einen Wärmeträger angeschlossen sind. Um eine vorteilhafte Erwärmung des Schüttgutes zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Rohre (7) des Rohrbündels axial unterteilt sind und daß die dem Verteilerkopf (8) zugehörigen kürzeren Rohrabschnitte (7a) mit den an den Sammelkopf (9) angeschlossenen längeren Rohrabschnitten (7b) über eine mit radialem Abstand vom Trommelmantel gehaltene Mischkammer (13) in Strömungsverbindung stehen.
