Abstract

The pump has two lateral grooves (7, 8) arranged on front and rear sides of a pump body. Upper and lower grooves (9, 10) allow the grooves (7, 8) to communicate between them, and connect the grooves (7, 8) with valves (1, 2). The valves are opened to permit entry and exit of cleaning liquid e.g. hot water, respectively during washing phase. An independent claim is also included for a device having a pump.
