Description
This invention relates to the field of cleaning liquid pumps, for examplefor food, such as more particularly milk. Such pumps are known in prior art, in particular byGerman patents DE1ÖÖ43668 or DE20313380, orAmerican patent application U&2ÖÖ4/Ö1164? orBritlsh patent 68852580.
As such document DE10043S68 describes a liquid pumping system that comprises a jacket connected toapressure pipe. The jacket acts as a filter that encapsulates» pumping element qui is connected to thepressure pipe. Asuction orifscemade in the jacket of thepumping system is connected to thesecond pumping element.
Document DE20313360 aiso describes a liquid pump that comprises aeasing, Osuction connectorto which is associated a suction zoneiocated on a portion of casing, with said suction zonebeing provided with through slots, a pressure connector in fluidic communication withthe suction connectorby the intermediary of a pumping device placed in the casing, a motor intended to drive the pumping dsvioeanda control device intended to control the pumping deviceandthe motor. The suction connectorfs further associated with asuction tubethat is mounted movabiy with respect to the suction connectorin such a way that asuction volumeof thesuction connectorcan be distributed over the suction tuheandthesuctlon zone.
The invention has for purpose to provide liquid pumps with arrangements that make it possible to prevent them from rotating during the washing phases. It is as such possible to not have automatic machines or special installations, in particularfn the washing station, in such a way as to authorise the rotation of the pumps during the cleaning. : r
This purpose is achieved thanks to a pumpthat comprises two side grooveson the front arid back faces of the pump bodywitha bottom and top inner communication between these two grooves.
Advantageously, the bottom and top inner communication is In the form oftwo communication groovesbetween said side grooves.
Preferably, saidbottom and top inner communlcationconnects the side grooveswith the liquid inlet and outlet
The invention very particularly relates to centrifuge pumps, butthe arrangement hereinabove can apply to any other type of pump suited fur this type of arrangement, such as MGM3S pumps.
The invention also relates to the manufacture of the pumps hereinabove consisting in arranging two side grooveson the front and back facesof the pump body witha bottom and top inner communication between these two grooves.
The invention further relates to a device comprising several pumps of the type described hereinabove.
The invention Is very particularly adapted for offering an effective means for washing pumps in dairies, where the pumps as weli as the pipes and tanks have to be cleaned after each use.
Other advantages andcharacteristics of the invention shall appear in the examples hereinafter wherein reference will be made to the annexed drawings wherein: - Figure .1 shows a genera! view of a duplex pumping system withits washing members. - Figures 2 and 3 show a cross-section view of a pump pmyided with the arrangement according to the invention.
Figure 1 shows a genera! view of a duplex pumping system comprising two pumps (100,. 200), a centrifuge pump (100) anda pump (200),
The system comprises a first circuitcomprising an inlet duct (3.01) opening intoth© inlet nozzle (102) of the centrifuge pump (100). The outiét of the pump (X0Ö| opens into a duct (103) that communicates with the main outlet (104) of the system, as Weli as with a second duct (201)· opening intothe inlet of the pump (200).
The primary circuit comprises anon-return valve (1ÖS).
The outlet of this pump (200) is connected to the outlet of thepumping system byé duct -(.202).
The secondary circuit comprises anon-return valve (203),
The outiét (103, 104) of themain circultcomprises purge outlets controlled by purge valves (2,4), likewise, the secondary cfrcuitalso comprises purge outlets controlled by valves (1, ,3, S, 6).
During the pumping, the valves (1, 2) are dosed as weli asail of the purge valves (3, 4, 5, 6), Then during the washing, the valves (¾ 2) are opened in such a way as to allow for the inlet and the outlet of the washing liquidator exampieeomprise##hot water end soda, andafi-of :C3> ^ 'S* 6} are closed. After the deani ng, all of the purge valves (3,4,5; 6) are opened again.
Figures 2 and 3 show cross-section views of a centrifuge pump able to he implemented in the system of figure 1. This pump comprises two side grooves (7, 8} anda bottom and top inner communicationbeing in the form oftwo communication grooves (9, ID) between said side grooves (7,8).
