The invention has for its object to perform an electrical connector for making an electrical connection between a sliding door and a door frame of a vehicle so that when the sliding door eventual occurring vibrations are compensated and at the same time a high contact reliability is achieved. This object is achieved by the features specified in the claims of the invention. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
The electrical connector according to the invention for establishing an electrical connection between a sliding door and a door frame of a vehicle, with two engaging connecting parts, of which a connecting part has a plug and a first housing and another connecting part a socket and a second housing is characterized from that the plug and / or the socket relative to the respective housing are mounted two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally displaceable.
This has the advantage that the housing is in communication with the door, that the contacts are decoupled from the movements of the sliding door and tolerance compensation for static and dynamic load is achieved.
By the two-dimensional or three-dimensional storage of plug and / or socket relative to the respective housing a variable response to the vibrations due to the sliding door movements is possible. In combination, one speaks of a floating bearing to achieve tolerance compensation.
Furthermore, the floating mounting of the plug and / or socket by spring elements which are mounted in a spring holder and are guided by spring guides, so that the Relative movements between the contact elements of the plug and socket are reduced and thus reduces the wear of the contact elements and their life is increased.
Furthermore, the spring guides are designed as pots and / or as a cone, so that a targeted guidance of the spring elements is achieved.
Preferably, the support surface against which press the spring elements, beveled at an angle of 10 ° to 80 °, so as to ensure a better centering of the plug head in the connector housing. At an angle of 45 °, the best results were achieved.
In addition, plug and / or socket are constructed as separate, unitary units, so that the assembly and replacement is simplified.
Furthermore, it is prevented by means of a seal that moisture enters the vehicle interior.
Furthermore, the housing of plug and / or socket are designed such that no moisture can penetrate into the housing interior. The embodiment is designed such that the housing is glued and / or welded, so that no moisture or water can penetrate into the interior.
On the contact elements of the plug and / or socket are coupling elements made of an electrically conductive material which has a lubricating effect, applied to counteract a change in the contact resistance as a result of rubbing contact elements of the same material and thus to be able to transmit low control currents in the milliampere range.
Furthermore, there are the coupling elements, in particular of a silver alloy, since this leads to the lubrication of the contact pairing. This makes it possible to make more than 150000 contact closures without wearing the contact elements.
Furthermore, executed via a bore in the contact elements of the plug and / or socket as contact pins coupling elements are used, which are resiliently mounted. These pins can be replaced after complete wear. Advantageously, the contact pins are made of a copper alloy, which is coated with a silver alloy or the contact pins are made entirely of a silver alloy, since this serves to lubricate the contact pairing.
In addition, in this embodiment of the contact pairing, the spring contact element made of plastic, which leads to a reduction of the material costs or manufacturing technology brings benefits.
