In Figur 1 wird ein erfindungsgemäßes Haushaltgerät, im Ausführungsbeispiel eine Ge- schirrspülmaschine 1 , gezeigt, auf deren um eine horizontal verlaufende, nicht dargestellten Achse schwenkbar gelagerten Tür 2 ein Geschirrkorb 3 angeordnet ist. In diesem Zustand ist ein Schalter 4 aktiviert und hat eine Lichtquelle 5, die im Innenraum 6 der Geschirrspülmaschine 1 angeordnet ist, eingeschaltet. Der Schalter 4 kann auch mit einer Steuereinheit 7 verbunden sein, die ihrerseits mit der Lichtquelle 5 verbunden ist und de- ren Zustand steuert. Die Steuereinheit 7 ist zweckmäßigerweise mit der elektronischen Programmsteuerung, im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel einem Programmsteuergerät, der Geschirrspülmaschine 1 verbunden. In Figur 2 ist die Geschirrspülmaschine 1 gezeigt, deren schwenkbare Tür 2 so geneigt ist, dass der Schalter 4 nicht aktiviert dargestellt ist.
