Claims (8)

  1. Kipphebelvorrichtung zur variablen Betätigung eine Gasventils in einem Verbrennungsmotor, wobei die Kipphebelvorrichtung (10) mindestens zwei Konfigurationen aufweist, um ihre Ventilhubfähigkeit zu verändern, wobei die Kipphebelvorrichtung umfasst:
    ein Sperrelement (48), das zwischen einer ersten Position zur Bereitstellung einer ersten Konfiguration der Kipphebelvorrichtung und einer zweiten Position zur Bereitstellung einer zweiten Konfiguration der Kipphebelvorrichtung bewegt werden kann;
    ein Sperrbetätigungsmittel (30), das einen Kolben (34) umfasst, der sich hin und her bewegend in einer Kolbenbohrung (36) angeordnet und an das Sperrelement (48) gekuppelt ist, um das Sperrelement von der ersten Position zur zweiten Position zu bewegen, wobei der Kolben (34) einen Kolbenboden mit einer Druckfläche (42) aufweist, die mit einer Seitenwand (38) und einer Stirnwand (40) der Kolbenbohrung (36) eine Hydraulikkammer (44) definiert, wobei die Hydraulikkammer (44) einen Einlass (46) für ein unter Druck stehendes Hydraulikmedium umfasst, um so den Kolben (34) unter der Wirkung von Hydraulikdruck zu bewegen; und
    wobei der Kolbenboden einen vorstehenden Stift (54) umfasst, der sich zur Stirnwand (40) erstreckt, um so eine gestufte Druckfläche zu bilden;
    wobei die Hydraulikkammer (44) und die Kolbendruckfläche (42) in einer solchen Weise ausgelegt sind, dass in einer ersten Position des Kolbens (34) nur eine erste Fläche der Druckfläche (42) dem unter Druck stehenden Hydraulikmedium ausgesetzt ist und dass ab einer zweiten Position des Kolbens (34) eine zweite Fläche der Druckfläche (42), die größer als die erste Fläche ist, dem unter Druck stehenden Medium ausgesetzt ist;
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    der Einlass (46) für das unter Druck stehende Hydraulikmedium in der Stirnwand (40) der Kolbenbohrung (36) angeordnet ist; und
    der vorstehende Stift (54) den Einlass (46) blockiert, wenn der Kolben (34) sich in der ersten Position befindet.
  2. Kipphebelvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Fläche einen kleineren Abschnitt der Druckfläche (42) und die zweite Fläche einen überwiegenden Abschnitt der Druckfläche (42) darstellen
  3. Kipphebelvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Fläche der Gesamtfläche der Druckfläche (42) einschließlich der ersten Fläche entspricht
  4. Kipphebelvorrichtung nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, gekennzeichnet durch einen Hauptkipphebel (12) mit einem Körper (14), der eine Aufnahme (18) zum Eingriff mit einem Drehzapfen (19) an einem ersten Ende und ein Verbindungsflächenmittel (20) zum Eingriff mit einem Ventilschaft (21) an einem zweiten Ende des Körpers (14) umfasst.
  5. Kipphebelvorrichtung nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sperrbetätigungsmittel (30) im Hauptkipphebelkörper (14) vorgesehen ist
  6. Kipphebelvorrichtung nach Anspruch 4 und 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    ein Zulaufdurchlass (49) die Aufnahme (18) mit dem Einlass (46) in der Stirnwand (40) der Hydraulikkammer (44) verbindet; und
    der Drehzapfen (19) eine hydraulische Zielangleichvorrichtung mit einem Nasenabschnitt ist, der mit der Aufnahme (18) in Eingriff steht und mit einer Bohrung für das Hydraulikmedium versehen ist
  7. Kipphebelvorrichtung nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, gekennzeichnet durch ein Federmittel (50) zum Vorspannen des Sperrelements (48) in einer Richtung, die der Richtung entgegengesetzt ist, in der der Kolben (34) wegen der Wirkung des Hydraulikmediums auf die Kolbendruckfläche (42) bewegt wird
  8. Kipphebelvorrichtung nach irgendeinem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, gekennzeichnet durch zwei seitliche Kipphebel, von denen jeweils einer an jeder Seite des Hauptkipphebels (12) angeordnet ist, wobei das Sperrelement (48) in seiner zweiten Position mit zusammenwirkenden Sperrflächen der seitlichen Kipphebel in Eingriff steht.
