Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a reservoir dispensing doses of fluid product.
  • the problem at the origin of the invention was the manual control of the release of doses of liquid soap or detergent contained in a portable "ball" forming a reservoir and comprising a base bearing a brush in the volume of which are delivered doses of product.
  • fluid dispensing tanks comprise a piston housed vertically in the tank, with, at the top, a control head of a lower product dose release valve.
  • Such tanks may further be configured so that their lower part forms a base carrying a brush.
  • the reservoir above the brush thus constitutes a holding ball thereof. The user, gripping the side wall, releases a dose of soap by depressing the control head with the palm of the hand, without changing the holding position of the reservoir.
  • a similar distributor tank is known from FR 2 801 0 40 A.
  • the top position of the control head has the disadvantage of being inconvenient, because we can not exclude the risk of accidental release of doses of product when the user brushes energetically.
  • the user could also control the ejection of product doses by changing the holding position of the reservoir, releasing the control head to access it by the end of a finger. However, the user would lose time because it should then stop brushing, failing to hold firmly then the tank in the desired functional holding position.
  • valve is controlled by depressing the piston, it is located at the external mouth of the distributor passage, and this is therefore partially closed by an operating rod of the valve. Even though the passage section is increased accordingly, the rod represents an additional lateral braking surface of the product flow, especially when it is viscous.
  • the invention aims to solve at least one of the three problems mentioned above, whether in the particular case of a reservoir -brosse or, more generally, in the case of any reservoir dispensing doses of fluid product, regardless of the nature of any other function it may have, for example brush, scraper, or simply dispensing nozzle accurate doses in inaccessible places.
  • the invention relates to a dispenser tank for doses of fluid, comprising the features of claim 1.
  • the dispensing or dose release control head of the product can therefore be placed at any desired location on the tank wall, for example where the end of a finger will be when the reservoir is held in the hand. a functional and / or ergonomic way provided, the choice of the position of the head thus being independent of the position of the valve through the deflection means. The risk of unexpected release of doses by order of the palm of the hand can therefore be eliminated, as well as any need for change of holding position.
  • the deflection means are arranged so that the opening movement of the valve is directed towards the inside of the tank, therefore without the need to house a control rod of the valve in the passage that she controls.
  • the "driving direction" of the control head and the "opening direction” of the valve are therefore both a direction and a direction of movement, i.e. vectors. It is therefore not excluded that these vectors are in parallel directions, or even collinear, and oriented in opposite directions. In addition, it could even be provided that the two vectors are in the same direction, the deflection means allowing for example to amplify, at the valve, the force or the displacement of the control head if the problem arises or to accommodate the actuator device in a shaped container such that the valve would be inaccessible to a straight piston whose head would occupy a desired position.
  • the invention is not related to the precise nature of the fluid product, which may be viscous or even be in the form of grains.
  • the deflection means comprise a sliding rod connecting the control head to the valve and comprising a curved central portion in lateral support against an oblique abutment track, opposite to the control head and secured to the wall , sliding and deflection angle translation of the driving head.
  • the deflection means comprise a lever carried by the wall, with a control arm coupled to the head and a controlled coupling arm to the valve.
  • the control arm can be arranged to present buckling in a predetermined direction of pivoting of the lever releasing a dose, by depressing the control head.
  • the control arm can thus rotate the controlled arm even if the pivoting end of the control arm passes through the axis.
  • the control arm may however not be oriented towards the axis and then comprise a control section, having a free end connected to the head, which comprises, at the opposite end, pivoting, a lateral branch, connecting the pivot axis, arranged to pivot about the axis under the effect of a translation of the control section.
  • the lever is returned to a rest position by return means.
  • the return means may comprise a return spring coupled to the lever, and for example to the control arm, to exert on the head a restoring force towards a rest position of the lever, corresponding to at least a minimum threshold opposing depressing.
  • the head comprises a membrane to be pressed, of elastic material, constituting a wall zone coupled to the remainder of the wall as well as to the free end of the control section to exert a pulling force corresponding to said threshold , return force opposing the control pressure force.
  • the lever is made of plastic material and comprises an additional arm in the form of an integrated tongue, a free end of which is mounted under stress against an abutment integral with the wall, to exert a return torque towards the rest position of the lever.
  • valve seat is preferably turned towards the inside of the tank, the deflection means being arranged to guide the valve to an open position inside the tank.
  • the fluid dispenser dispenser 1 of FIG. 1 shown in vertical section in its operative position, has approximately an equilateral triangle-shaped section, with vertices and two rounded sides to be held by hand.
  • the overall three-dimensional shape is ovoid.
  • the left part of the tank substantially inclined at 45 degrees, is said front part, the profile shown being intended to receive a control finger, for example the index or middle finger, the palm being located opposite from the top.
  • the rear part of the wall 3 is inclined by approximately 30 degrees on the vertical.
  • the pedestal defined below is assumed to be horizontal in the various figures, for reference to the orientation of the various elements. The explanations would of course remain valid, with the desired transposition, if the base was inclined.
  • the tank 1 comprises a bottom or bottom wall portion 2, constituting a flat base or base, surmounted, in a sealed manner, an upper portion 3 defining an upper wall zone.
  • the base 2 is in this example provided with a brush 4 cleaning various utensils, for example kitchen utensils, the base of the bristles is trapped in the base 2 so that the outer portion of the bristles emerge from the outer surface of the base 2 in a volume adjacent thereto and extending here to the rounded front portion of base 2.
  • the base 2 comprises, at about one third of its length from its front end, a through passage 22 of communication between the interior of the tank 1 with the outside.
  • the passage 22 comprises, on the external side of the reservoir 1, a generally horizontal and downwardly directed shoulder, precisely here frustoconical, to form a seat 28 for receiving a valve 48 for controlling the passage 22, carried at the end lower free of a vertical rod 47 for actuating the valve 48.
  • the valve 48 therefore moves according to the downward vertical arrow F2 to move from its rest position, on the seat 28, to a remote opening position, to release dose.
  • the geometric axis 20 of the passage is substantially vertical to avoid any friction of the rod 47.

  • the upper wall zone 3 of the tank 1, whose ergonomic shape facilitates manual holding, comprises, here at its top 32, opposite the base 2, a filling orifice of the tank 1 with a fluid, for example a detergent product, orifice closed by a removable cap 33.
  • An actuator device 40 here plastic, housed in the internal volume of the tank 1, is coupled to the dispensing valve 48.
  • the actuator device 40 comprises a manual dose-delivery control head 41 of the product, coupled to a pressing control membrane 31, the head 41 being integral with a so-called free control end a lever 42, 43, 47 of deflection of its driving movement.
  • the control membrane 31 constitutes a part of the upper wall 3, in which it is crimped, and it is located in a low zone of the front part thereof, that is to say at a little distance and substantially above the front edge of the base 2, here about one-third of the height of the upper wall 3.
  • the reference 42 designates a section or control arm, here with an arcuate lateral profile substantially centered on a horizontal axis 40A of the lever and with a cross section, perpendicular to the plane of FIG. 1, having two transverse stiffening ribs.
  • One end of the section 42, opposite to that coupled to the head 41, has a lateral projection or substantially horizontal abutment of abutment 44 facing downwards, receiving the upper end of the coil spring 49.
  • the axis 40A is carried by two cheeks opposed verticals 23 protruding from the base 2 inside the tank 1, in the region of connection angle of the front part of the base 2 with the wall 3.
  • the reference 43 designates a section or control arm arranged in a radius and pivotally mounted at one end on the axis 40A to maintain the shoulder 44, by an opposite end, on a determined path, that is to say a short arc of substantially vertical circle.
  • the assembly can therefore be considered as being a single pivoting lever arm 43 carrying a head 41 offset forwards by the section 42 and carrying a valve offset backward by the rod 47, the two offset elements generally forming a rotatable element. arc of a circle held by the radial arm 43.

  • the valve 48 moves away from its seat 28 towards its open position and thus allows the flow of a dose of the fluid product under the effect of the overpressure due to the depression of the membrane 31.
  • the valve 48 rises to its rest position by the action of the spring 49 in the opposite direction to that of the arrow F2.
