La mise en place de la pompe se déroule selon les étapes suivantes :
- On introduit à l'intérieur du col du flacon ladite pompe. Cette introduction se fait à force et entraîne une déformation du corps en matériau souple liée à sa compression entre le manchon rigide et le col du flacon. De tels cols sont généralement en matériau fragile, principalement en verre et pour éviter tout risque de rupture du col de verre, la capacité du matériau souple à travailler en compression est essentielle. Néanmoins, il arrive que les flacons soient fabriqués avec de larges tolérances se traduisant par de nettes différences dans les diamètres des cols. Pour les cols de plus faible diamètre, le taux de déformation du corps en matériau souple doit être relativement important, la distance entre la manchon rigide et le col du flacon étant particulièrement réduite. Or, le matériau souple peut atteindre une sorte d'état de déformation maximum. A partir de cet état, les contraintes nécessaires à la déformation dudit corps sont supérieures aux contraintes pouvant être supportées par le col en matériau fragile, le matériau souple ne peut alors plus se déformer et le col se brise lors de l'introduction de la pompe. La présente invention se propose de résoudre ce problème. L'invention concerne ainsi une pompe susceptible d'obturer le col d'un flacon comprenant, un corps en matériau souple dont la partie supérieure, après assemblage de la pompe dans le col, est retenue au niveau du bord extérieur du col, un mécanisme des pompage renfermé dans ledit corps en matériau souple, et un manchon rigide, intercalé entre ledit mécanisme de pompage et ledit corps et, doté d'un jonc encastré dans ledit corps, caractérisé en ce que ledit jonc est susceptible de ménager un espace annulaire entre la surface externe dudit manchon située au dessus dudit jonc et la surface interne opposée du corps, ledit espace annulaire étant de dimensions telles qu'après assemblage, les distances radiales entre ladite surface externe du manchon et la surface interne opposée du col du flacon, soient supérieures ou égales à l'épaisseur du corps en matériau souple, à l'état non contraint.

The invention thus relates to a pump capable of closing the neck of a bottle comprising a body of flexible material whose upper part, after assembly of the pump in the neck, is retained at the outer edge of the neck, a mechanism pumping enclosed in said body of flexible material, and a rigid sleeve, interposed between said pumping mechanism and said body and, provided with a ring recessed in said body, characterized in that said ring is capable of providing an annular space between the outer surface of said sleeve located above said rod and the opposite inner surface of the body, said annular space being of such dimensions that after assembly, the radial distances between said outer surface of the sleeve and the opposite inner surface of the neck of the bottle, are greater than or equal to the thickness of the body of flexible material, in the unconstrained state.
