Description

The invention relates to a lamp for general lighting purposes with a base having a reflector and with a translucent cover, both of which are interconnected to form an inner cavity along its circumference, with a substantially coaxially arranged in the cavity and mounted in the base burner and with a surrounding the burner, which can be fastened by cement in the base shield.

It is a HID reflector lamp of this type known ( DE 102 33 073 ), in which in order to avoid sodium losses and in a possible explosion of the burner to protect against its fragments shielding is provided, the return line for the supply current of the burner extends outside the shield so that it is not exposed to the direct UV radiation of the burner , An anti-glare cap is not provided, it must be externally attached if necessary, that is practically on the lamp in which this lamp is used.

Furthermore, a halogen reflector lamp is known (Hi-Spot ES11, "Hi-Spot" is a registered trademark of the Applicant), which already has an internal anti-glare cap attached by lateral brackets, on the one hand to the anti-glare cap and on the other hand between reflector and cover are, held. However, this construction is on the one hand consuming and the other unfavorable, as the beam path in the reflector and the optics or the aesthetic appearance of the lamp are disturbed by the lateral brackets. Also, the optical efficiency is reduced by the lateral brackets.

In another known design, the anti-glare cap is already mounted directly on the existing glass cover or lens of a lamp by drilling a hole in this cover or lens for their attachment, but this reduces the glass strength, so that the lamp is not more than safe and reliable enough.

GB 536 533 offenbart.Other reflector lamps with a shield are in the patents GB 536 765 respectively. GB 536 533 disclosed.

The object of the invention is based is to provide a lamp of the type mentioned above, which also has, like the second-mentioned design, an internal anti-glare cap, however, has a holder of this anti-glare cap that disturbs neither beam path nor optics, looks particularly aesthetically pleasing and has a better optical efficiency.

This object is achieved in that between the cover-side end portion of the shield and the anti-glare cap for holding the anti-glare cap on the shield, a clamping element is arranged, which acts on the one hand on the shield and on the other hand on the anti-glare cap.

The clamping element is preferably a ring with radially inner circumferentially spaced apart first spring elements for its support at the end portion of the shield and with radially outer second spring elements for holding the anti-glare cap. In this case, the clamping element as a blank initially from a heat-resistant resilient sheet, z. B. spring steel, punched out.

The first spring elements are expediently in the plane of the ring to the center of the ring projecting first spring tabs and shaped so that they can be pushed onto the cover-side end portion of the shield under tension and thereby the ring can be attached thereto. In this case, in particular in the presence of a shield with the cover side open end, the arrangement is suitably made so that the ring has a radial distance from the end portion of the shield, which is bridged by the spaced apart in the circumferential direction of the ring spring tabs, such that between the shield and ring at least one passage for the return of electricity is ensured.

Preferably, the formation of the first spring elements by a first turn each of an intermediate portion of the first spring tabs out of the plane of the ring out and in the radial distance from this in the axial direction, said first turn of the intermediate portion substantially in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ring took place has, and by a second turn each of an end portion of the intermediate portions radially inwardly and substantially parallel to the plane of the ring.

Suitably, the second spring elements are substantially projecting from the radially outer edge of the ring and also extending substantially axially to the intermediate portions of the first spring tabs second spring tabs. In a preferred embodiment are the second Spring tabs arranged axially opposite to the first spring tabs.

Inner circumference staggered first spring tabs and four each provided by 90 degrees along the outer circumference of the ring offset from each other second spring tabs provided. It is understood that also deviating numbers of spring tabs can be provided as long as only a perfect centering of the visor on the open end of the shield can be guaranteed.

The shield is suitably circular in cross-section and, in a preferred embodiment, has a frustoconical portion tapering towards the base and a hollow cylindrical portion extending toward the cover. Since their anchoring takes place in the base with the smallest in diameter of the truncated cone, the reflector surface remains as large as possible, d. H. the blind spot or the breakdown through the reflector can remain particularly small, which increases the optical efficiency. On the other hand, could be a continuous cylindrical shield, which would also be usable and easier and less expensive to produce, if necessary, using a particularly small diameter burner application.

The hollow cylindrical section has in the wall of its free end an increase in diameter or a reduction in diameter as a detent, via which during assembly, the first spring elements elastically yielding sliding and on which are the same aufschnappbar, such that a kind of anchoring can take place on the ring.

In a preferred embodiment, an increase in diameter is provided, which is designed as a relatively short hollow truncated cone-shaped widening, at the edge of which the first spring tabs can be applied with their end sections.

Die Anordnung ist dabei so getroffen, daß die Zwischenabschnitte nicht exakt parallel zur Längsachse des Rings verlaufen sondern dem kleinen spitzen Winkel der kegelförmigen Aufweitung mit der Längsachse der Abschirmung entsprechend ein wenig radial nach außen aufgebogen sind, derart, daß die Zwischenabschnitte nach dem Aufschieben desThe arrangement is made such that the intermediate portions are not exactly parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ring but the small acute angle of the conical expansion with the longitudinal axis of the shield are bent in accordance with a little radially outwards, such that the intermediate portions after pushing the

Clamping elements on the expansion, namely under resilient deflection of the first spring tabs out of the plane of the ring, after springing back the spring tabs on the outer surface of the expansion, so to speak, engage behind and cause an anchoring of the clamping element at the end of the shield.

The anti-glare cap can be pushed onto the clamping element such that the second spring straps can be applied under tension to the inner surface of the anti-glare cap. The outer diameter of the ring is for this purpose slightly smaller than the diameter of the inner surface of the anti-glare cap formed while the second spring tabs are slightly obliquely outward radially and only when pushing the anti-glare cap radially inward spring and create parallel to the inner surface of the anti-glare cap.

The preferably a hollow cylindrical portion and an adjacent in the direction of the cover to adjoining hollow cone-shaped hood has at a distance from the free edge of its hollow cylindrical portion an inner collar as Aufschiebbegrenzung or stop on which when pushed the ring with its radially outer peripheral region can be applied is, while at the existing between the edge and the stop, the inner surface associated collar surface of the inner collar, the outer surfaces of the second spring tabs can be applied.

The conical section of the anti-glare cap is expediently interrupted by three cut-outs offset by approximately 120 degrees in the circumferential direction, which are each separated from one another by narrow webs, so that heat generated at the burner end can be radiated or removed as far as possible. However, the use of a closed anti-glare cap is possible, so that no direct light is emitted to the front.

The invention and its advantageous embodiments are explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The represented by the drawings embodiment of the lamp 1 according to the invention has, as specifically from the Fig. 1 to 4 it can be seen, a socket 2 having a reflector 3 with a cover 4, the z. B. may be a lens, which are both connected together to form a cavity 5 along its circumference 6. In this embodiment, a two-ended, substantially coaxially arranged in the cavity 5 and by means of a socket-side lead 7 (FIG. Fig. 2 ) and a cover-side return line 8 for electric power in the base 2 mounted burner 9 is provided. Furthermore, a surrounding the burner 9, by means of cement 10 in the base 2 attachable shield 11 is present, which is open in this case the cover side.

According to the invention, an anti-glare cap 13 and for holding the same on the shield 11 between the cover-side end portion 12 of the shield 11 and the anti-glare cap 13 provided clamping element 14 is provided which is attached on the one hand to the shield 11 and on the other hand to the anti-glare cap 13.

In this case, since the shield 11 is open at its cover-side end, see the edge 15 (FIG. Fig. 4 ), the return line 8 extends to the base 2 from this open end between the clamping element 14 and shield 11 therethrough outside the latter.

In the preferred embodiment shown, the clamping element 14 is Fig. 5 to 8 ) a ring 16 with radially inner, spaced apart first spring elements 17 for its support at the end portion 12 of the shield 11 and with radially outer, spaced apart second spring elements 18 for holding the visor cap 13. In this case, the clamping element 14 as a flat blank (not shown ) first from z. B. punching spring steel before it is brought by bending in his explained below final shape.

How very clear from the Fig. 5 to 8 can be seen, the first spring elements 17 are substantially in the plane of the ring 16 to the ring center projecting first spring tabs 19 and shaped so that they can be pushed onto the cover-side end portion 12 of the shield 11 under tension and thereby the ring 16 attached thereto is.

The ring 16 has all around a distance R from the end portion 12 of the shield 11, which bridges the spaced apart in the circumferential direction of the ring 16 first spring tabs 19, such that between the shield 11 and ring 16 at least one passage 36 is ensured for the return line 8 ,

In this case, the shaping of the first spring elements 17 takes place by a first turn each of an intermediate portion 20 of the first spring tabs 19 out of the plane of the ring 16 and at a radial distance from this in the axial direction (see longitudinal axis 21 in the 6 and 7 ), thus in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis 21 of the ring 16, and by a second turn each of an end portion 22 of the intermediate portions 20 radially inwardly and substantially parallel to the plane of the ring 16th

The second spring elements 18 are substantially from the radially outer edge 23 of the ring 16 projecting and substantially axially opposite to the intermediate portions 20 of the first spring tabs 19 extending second spring tabs 24th

In the preferred embodiment shown, three first spring tabs 19 offset by 120 degrees along the inner circumference 25 of the ring 16 and four second spring tabs 24 offset by 90 degrees along the outer edge 23 of the ring 16 are provided.

The most clear from the Fig. 9 to 13 To be taken shield 11 is circular in this embodiment and has a tapered towards the base 2 hollow truncated cone-shaped portion 26 and extending in the direction of the cover 4 hollow cylindrical portion 27 on. Since the shield 11 is made of a one-piece cylinder tube and by means of plastic deformation of the glass material of the hollow frustoconical portion 26 forming portion in the corresponding heated state, occurs while a continuously increasing thickening of the wall thickness toward the cemented in the tapered end of the section 26 to instead , in particular from the Fig. 9 to 13 can be seen.

Advantageously, the hollow cylindrical portion 27 in the wall of its free end (edge 29) has an increase in diameter or a reduction in diameter as a detent over which during assembly, the first spring tabs 19 of the clamping member 13 elastically yielding slidably and on which are aufschnappbar the same, wherein the return line 8 is guided between each two first spring tabs 19 from the open end of the shield 11 to the base 2.

In the preferred embodiment shown, an increase in diameter is provided, which is referred to as a relatively short hollow frusto-conical expansion 28 (FIG. FIGS. 9 and 10 ) is formed, at the edge 29, the first spring tabs 19 can be applied with their end portions 22. It follows that the width of the widening 28 corresponds to the extension of the intermediate sections 20.

The anti-glare cap 13 can be pushed onto the clamping element 14, such that the second spring straps 24 can be applied under tension to the inner surface 39 of the anti-glare cap 13.

The a hollow cylindrical portion 30 and a towards the cover 4 to it adjoining hollow cone-shaped portion 31 having anti-glare cap 13 has at a distance from the free edge 32 of its hollow cylindrical portion 30 adjacent an inner collar as Aufschiebbegrenzung or stop 37, to which when pushing the ring 16 can be applied with its radially outer peripheral region, while at the existing between the edge 32 and the stop 37, the inner surface 29 associated collar surface 38 of the inner collar, the outer surfaces of the second spring tabs 24 can be applied.

The hollow cone-shaped portion 31 is offset from each other by three in each case by approximately 120 degrees in the circumferential direction Broken cutouts 34, which are each separated by relatively narrow webs 35.

In the embodiment described above, a double-ended burner in the form of a discharge lamp, namely an HID (High Intensity Discharge) lamp, is used. However, it is emphasized that in the context of the invention, for. As halogen lamps can be used as a burner, which can be both single-ended and double-ended, so that, if appropriate, a shield closed on the cover could find use. Apart from that, there are also burners in the form of single-ended discharge lamps, which can also be used.
