Claims (14)

  1. Device for cleaning the surface (M) of cylindrical bodies, such as rolls (W) or rollers,
    - having at least one nozzle (7-10) to deliver cleaning fluid onto the surface (M) to be cleaned,
    - having a housing (2) which can be placed over the surface (M) to be cleaned, whose length (LG) corresponds to at least a part of the length (LW) of the cylindrical body and which has an outlet (11), through which cleaning fluid delivered from the nozzle (7-10) hits the surface (M) to be cleaned, characterized in that
    - the housing (2) in the region of the outlet (11) is adapted to the shape of the cylindrical body so that the housing (2), in the state placed over the cylindrical body, sits flush with this region and in the radial direction can be lifted off the surface (M) to be cleaned, and
    - having at least one suction element (12,13) for sucking off cleaning fluid hitting the surface (M) to be cleaned during the cleaning operation, wherein the suction opening (14, 15) of the suction element (12,13) is arranged adjacent to the outlet (11) of the housing (2).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the suction element (12, 13) is configured as a tube which laterally borders the outlet (11) at least in sections.
  3. Device according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the outlet (11) has a rectangular form.
  4. Device according to Claim 2 or 3 characterized in that the suction element (12, 13), in the state placed over the cylindrical body, extends parallel to its longitudinal axis.
  5. Device according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the edge of the outlet (11) at least in sections is formed through flow elements (16, 17) bent towards the housing interior.
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the flow elements (16, 17) are formed by the suction elements (12, 13).
  7. Device according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the housing (2) in the region of the outlet (11), which follows the circumference of the cylindrical body, supports a seal (21) which, in the state placed over the cylindrical body, lies closely thereon.
  8. Device according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the jet (F1, F2) delivered by the nozzle (7-10), in the state of housing (2) placed over the cylindrical body, is directed at a shallow angle onto the surface (M) of the cylindrical body to be cleaned.
  9. Device according to one of the above claims, characterized in that several nozzles (7-10) are arranged in the housing (2).
  10. Device according to Claim 9, characterized in that a group of the nozzles (7-9) delivers a jet (F1) aligned in a first direction and the other group of nozzles (10) delivers a jet (F2) aligned in another direction.
  11. Device according to Claim 4 or 10, characterized in that the jets (F1) delivered by the nozzles (7-9) of the one group are aligned toward a suction element (12) arranged on one side of the outlet (11) and the jets (F2) delivered by the nozzles (10) of the other group are aligned toward a suction element (13) arranged on the opposite side of the outlet (11).
  12. Device according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the housing (2) is displaceably mounted on a track (23).
  13. Device according to Claim 12, characterized in that the length of the track (23) is at least equal to the length (LW) of the cylindrical body to be cleaned.
  14. Device according to one of Claims 12 or 13, characterized in that the track (23) exhibits a bracket (24, 25) for detachably fastening to a bearing (30, 31) for the body to be cleaned.
