Definitions
- the invention relates to an eye-buttonhole sewing machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the fabric clamp is designed such that a lower clamping plate is slidably connected to the xy table in the x direction, while connected to the lower clamping plate upper clamping plate by means of a pneumatically actuated piston-cylinder drive against the lower clamping plate can be pressed for clamping a workpiece.
- the pneumatically actuated piston-cylinder drive can be pressurized with compressed air via a flexible compressed air hose.
- the clamping drive has its own accumulator, which is separated during sewing by a compressed air hose for compressed air supply. To charge the compressed air storage this is connected by means of a hose coupling with the compressed air hose.
- Eye-buttonhole sewing machines are usually provided with a gripper bearing arranged below the lower clamping plate, to which a so-called looper thread is fed. It is therefore necessary, for the threading of this looper thread, but also for cleaning and maintenance work, to remove the fabric clip from its operating position. It has proved to be disturbing that the compressed air hose is firmly connected to the piston-cylinder drive.
- the invention has the object of developing the eye buttonhole sewing machine of the generic type such that the gripper bearing is easily accessible.
- the development according to claim 2 ensures that the relative movements in the x and y direction between the x-y table and the fabric clip are not affected.
- a particularly simple embodiment offers this claim 5, since this is the same displaceability in the x and y direction in the clutch itself realized.
- the development according to claim 9 ensures that the fabric clamp with the lower clamping plate in the operating position of the fabric clip can not be lifted from the x-y table.
- an eye-buttonhole sewing machine is C-shaped, ie it has an upper arm 1, a lower, base-like base plate 2 and an approximately vertical upright 3 connecting them.
- an arm shaft 4 is mounted in a conventional manner, which is driven by a drive motor, not shown.
- the drive of a vertically displaceable in the z-direction needle bar 5 with a needle 6 and a vibratory drive for this purpose are derived in the usual way.
- a gripper bearing 7 is arranged in the base plate 2, which is rotatably driven about a vertical axis 8. The drive of the gripper bearing 7 is derived in a conventional manner from the arm shaft 4.
- an xy-table 9 is arranged, which is thus a in two horizontal coordinate directions, namely the x-direction and the y-direction, displaceable cross slide.
- the xy-table 9 is formed in a conventional manner, as for example from the DE 198 07 771 A1 (corresponding U.S. Patent 6,095,066 ) is known.
- the drive of the xy-table 9 takes place by means of an x-drive and a y-drive, which are positionable electric motors, ie preferably stepping motors, but also controllable DC motors. These drives are not shown.
- a two-piece lower clamping plate is arranged, of which only the - seen in Fig. 1 and 2 in the y direction - right lower clamping plate 10 is shown, which is supported on the xy-table 9 displaceable in the x direction is.
- This embodiment is from the EP 1 354 993 A2 (corresponding US Ser. No. 10/410 467 ), to which reference is made.
- Each lower clamping plate 10 is part of a fabric clamp 11.
- the lower clamping plate 10 covers the gripper bearing 7 and must be removed for drawing a looper thread.
- the fabric clamp located to the left of the needle 6 in FIG. 2 is not shown, but is arranged mirror-symmetrically to the sewing material clamp 11 with respect to the needle 6. Only the sewing material clamp 11 to the right of the needle 6 will be described.
- Each fabric clamp 11 has in each case a double-armed bearing lever 12, which is formed from a pivot lever 13 and a shift lever 14.
- the sliding lever 14 carries at its free end an upper clamping plate 15.
- the pivot lever 13 is pivotally mounted about a pivot axis 16 in the drive and bearing housing 17. This is fastened by means of screws 18 on the underside of the lower clamping plate 10. Both parts are at their contact surface by means of a liquid, not shown Sealant compressed air tightly connected.
- the pivot lever 13 and the shift lever 14 are connected by means of a sliding-locking connection 19 in the y-direction adjustable in length with each other.
- the housing 17 is part of a clamping drive 20 for the fabric clamp 11.
- a piston 22 sealed up and arranged to move is.
- This piston 22 has a downwardly protruding from the cylinder chamber 21 piston rod 23 which is articulated by means of a hinge 24 at the facing end 25 of the pivot lever 13, so the bearing lever 12.
- a compressed air connection channel 26 is formed in the housing 17, which is connected at the top of the housing 17 by means of an overflow channel 27 with the cylinder chamber 21.
- the clamping drive 20 is therefore a one-sided pneumatically actuated piston-cylinder unit.
- the compressed air hose 28 is connected to the housing 17 by means of a detachable hose coupling 32.
- a support plate 33 is secured by means of screws 34 on the underside of the x-y table 9, which extends parallel to the lower clamping plate 10 to below the housing 17.
- stationary support plate 33 of the compressed air hose 28 is fixed by means of an angle hose connection 35.
- the actual hose coupling 32 is formed by a funnel section 36 adjoining the compressed air connection channel 26 and a connecting tube 37 projecting through the latter into the channel 26.
- the funnel section 36 widens down toward the support plate 33.
- the elastically flexible connection hose 37 extends through the funnel section 36 in the z direction into the compressed air connection channel 26, where it is sealed against the housing 17 by means of a ring seal 38 which surrounds it that in the engaged state shown in Fig. 4, a compressed air-tight connection between the compressed air hose 28 and the compressed air connection channel 26 is made.
- the funnel portion 36 is thus a receptacle of a coupling part, while the connecting tube 37 is a projecting part of another coupling part which is inserted in the z-direction in the receptacle. Due to the funnel-shaped configuration of the section 36, the insertion and centering of the connection tube 37 is greatly facilitated.
- the lower clamping plate 10 is removed with the fabric clamp 11 up from the xy table 9, then the remains with the xy table. 9 connected via the support plate 33 compressed air hose 28 with the angle hose connection 35 and the connection hose 37 to the base plate 2 of the sewing machine, while the work clamp 11 with the lower clamping plate 10 and the clamping drive 20 including the funnel portion 36 with the ring seal 38 is pulled up from the connection tube 37.
- the latter is secured by a retaining web 39 which is secured to the lower part of the pivot lever 13.
- the retaining web 39 may be formed, for example, by the head of a retaining screw. This holding web 39 engages - as shown in FIGS.
- the lower clamping plate 10 is displaceable relative to the xy table 9 in the x direction by a small amount, which results from the configuration of the sewing machine as an eye-buttonhole sewing machine.
- This slight displacement in the x direction takes place by means of a displacement drive 40, of which only one drive lever 41 is shown, which acts on the lower clamping plate 10.
- the above-mentioned movements of the lower clamping plate 10 in the xy plane are possible because the connecting tube 37 is in the funnel section 36 in the x-direction and the y-direction corresponding to the lower opening width of the Funnel section 36 can deform laterally. These movements of a few millimeters in the x and y directions are possible.
- a slide 42 designed as a plate is slidably mounted on the support plate 33' about the aforementioned displaceability of the clamping plate 10 in the x-y plane.
- the carriage 42 downwardly projecting pins 43 which pass through holes 44 in the support plate 33 ', said holes 44 have a significantly larger diameter than the pins 43, so that a corresponding game 45 in x and y Direction is given.
- the carriage 42 is secured to the pins 43 below the support plate 33 'attached retaining rings 46 against lifting.
- the angle hose connection 35 'of the compressed air hose 28 passes through a bore 47 in the support plate 33', between which and the angle hose connection 35 a game 45 corresponding game 48 consists.
- the angle hose connection 35 ' is fixed to the carriage 42 and fixedly connected here to an upwardly projecting connection pipe 49, which is rigid and is inserted into the funnel section 36 of the housing 17.
- the connecting tube 49 moves in the xy plane with the housing 17 and the carriage 42 relative to the support plate 33 'fixed to the xy table. 9 connected is. Its movements are absorbed and compensated by the elastic compressed air hose 28.

Eye-buttonhole sewing machines are usually provided with a gripper bearing arranged below the lower clamping plate, to which a so-called looper thread is fed. It is therefore necessary, for the threading of this looper thread, but also for cleaning and maintenance work, to remove the fabric clip from its operating position. It has proved to be disturbing that the compressed air hose is firmly connected to the piston-cylinder drive.
The invention has the object of developing the eye buttonhole sewing machine of the generic type such that the gripper bearing is easily accessible.
This object is achieved by the features in the characterizing part of
The development according to claim 2 ensures that the relative movements in the x and y direction between the x-y table and the fabric clip are not affected.
Through the development according to
Through the development according to
A particularly simple embodiment offers this

As can be seen in FIG. 1, an eye-buttonhole sewing machine is C-shaped, ie it has an
Each
The
In the region of the
The
If the
As mentioned above, the
