Eine weitere Gefahrenquelle sind Fremdeinwirkungen zum Beispiel beim Aufprall an Torpfosten oder durch Gegenspieler, welche mit ihren Stollen auf die Hand des Torwarts treten könnten. Im Mittelteil sind beabstandete Querschlitze ausgebildet, in welche Spreizstege eines Innenteils eingreifen, welches innerhalb des erhabenen Mittelteils des Außenteils angeordnet ist. Die Spreizstege des Innenteils sind hierbei an beiden Seiten durch Zugstege miteinander verbunden. In einer zusammengefügten Stellung ergibt sich bei dieser Bauweise eine Vorkrümmung, da die Spreizstege die Ränder der Querschlitze auseinander drücken. Kommt es bei einem mit diesem Fingerprotektor ausgerüsteten Handschuh zu einer Belastung im Sinne einer Überdehnung in Richtung auf den Handrücken, so geraten die Spreizstege unter Druck, wobei dieser Druck von den Rändern der Querschlitze übertragen wird. Die dabei auftretenden Zugreaktionskräfte werden durch die Gurtbänder am Außenteil und die Zugstege am Innenteil aufgenommen. Dies hat jedoch den Nachteil, daß das spritzgegossene Material innerhalb des Werkstücks aufeinander trifft, so daß sich Schwachstellen durch nicht optimale Verbindung des Materials an dieser Stelle ergeben können. Da diese Elemente jedoch lediglich auf Druck beansprucht sind und nicht auf Zug, ist eine möglicherweise nicht optimale Verschmelzung des Materials an diesen Grenzflächen von wesentlich geringerer praktischer Bedeutung für die Funktionsfähigkeit des erfindungsgemäßen Fingerprotektors, als dies bei den Stoß-Stellen in den Gurtbändern bzw. - The method according to Claim 6, characterized in that the mould is configured in such a manner that the inner and outer parts (2; 2'; 2", 3; 3'; 3") are injection-moulded in the direction of their longitudinal extension.
