Abstract

Bei dem Verfahren zur Bearbeitung von Dünnblechen und dünnwandigen, einfach oder doppelt gekrümmten, dreidimensional geformten Blechen, Platten oder Schalen, insbesondere durch materialabtragende Bearbeitungsverfahren, wie Fräsen und Bohren, wird in einem ersten Schritt unter Verwendung eines Vakuums über eine als Verteiler oder Diffusor wirkende Schicht auf der Oberfläche des zu spannenden Werkstückes eine für die Lagefixierung hinreichend große Oberflächenspannung erzeugt. Anschließend erfolgt die spanende Bearbeitung des Werkstückes, wobei die Schnittparameter, insbesondere die Schnittgeschwindigkeit und die Vorschubgeschwindigkeit so eingestellt werden, dass es zu einer definierten lokalen Erwärmung in der Berührungszone von Werkzeug und Werkstück kommt und die Temperaturspitze größer oder gleich der Schmelztemperatur der Oberfläche des Verteilers oder Diffusors ist. Nach der vollständigen spanenden Bearbeitung des Werkstückes wird die Vakuumspannung gelöst und das Werkstück von der Spanneinrichtung abgehoben.
