Definitions

  • the invention is in the field of electrical switches which are equipped with a switching contact arrangement provided with a first switching contact and a first switching contact associated second switching contact, and is to be applied in the structural design and the production of a burn-up indicator for the switching contacts.
  • a burn-off display in which a directed with spring pressure against a movable contact indicator pin slides in a guide. The projecting beyond the guide end is a measure of the contact erosion.
  • a display marks sheet can be provided, on which the height of the burn-off can be read. To adjust to a starting point, the sheet is secured by means of slot and screws on the switch housing. The adjustment must be done with the switch housing open by the display panel is sensitively adjusted, which adds up in a number of circuit breakers in a switchgear to a considerable amount of work.
  • the burn-up display has a display pin and a display surface or display edge, wherein the display pin follows the movement of the first switching contact and then with closed switch contacts and only then via the display surface or display edge protrudes if the value of the burnup of the switching contacts is less than a specified maximum value (Operating Instructions for the 3WN6 circuit breaker from Siemens AG, Germany, 1998).
  • the movable switching contact on a contact carrier and a plurality of supported on the contact carrier in each case by means of contact force springs contact lever.
  • the existing metal indicator pin is supported on one of the contact lever and guided in a running in the direction of force of the contact force spring bore of the contact carrier.
  • a serving as a view opening recess of the contact carrier is open on one side to the bore, wherein the remote from the contact lever end of the indicator pin projects only at a permissible value of the Abbrandes formed on the contact levers contact pads (switching pieces) in the viewing port. If the value of the burnup of these contact pads is greater than the predetermined maximum value, then the indicator pin no longer protrudes into this viewing opening. This indicates that the switch contact arrangement must be renewed.
  • the invention has the object to design the Abbrandan Attache so that the shortening of the indicator pin is facilitated.
  • this object is achieved in that at least one designed as a shearing surface or shearing edge and suitable for guiding the shearing edge of a tool marking is provided for shearing the display pen, wherein the mark is spaced apart by the maximum allowable value of the burnup of the switch contacts to the display area or edge.
  • a newly provided indicator pin can be separated by simple conventional tools, for example by a slot screwdriver at the mark.
  • the fitter on site therefore requires no expensive special tool to shorten the indicator pin with closed switch contacts at a location which is spaced by the predetermined value of the maximum burnup of the display surface or display edge.
  • each element which, when it protrudes beyond the display surface or display edge, is clearly visible and can be shortened without great technical effort by shearing.
  • Such an element may, for example, have an arbitrary polygonal, oval or round cross-section or, for example, be formed as a strip or a stiff band.
  • This element can be on the movable switching contact supported directly or via an intermediate member, attached to the movable switching contact or be formed as an integral part of the movable switching contact.
  • the indicator pin can be shortened precisely at the shearing edge or shearing surface, without requiring additional marking of the indicator pin itself.
  • the indicator pin made of plastic.
  • a support surface may be provided which is parallel to the indicator pin.
  • the low-voltage circuit breaker known from the aforementioned operating instructions can also be provided with the new switching contact arrangement in that the marking is formed by a first side of a second recess which is open to the first recess.
  • the support surface may be formed by a section of the bore which is open towards the bottom of the first recess.
  • the second recess may form lateral guide surfaces for the tool used for shearing.
  • a switch contact arrangement is initially provided which is provided with a movable first switching contact, a second switching contact associated with the first switching contact and with a burn-off indicator for the switching contacts, wherein the burn-off display has a display pin and a display surface or display edge, wherein the indicator pin of the movement of the first switching contact follows, and in which at least one designed as Abscher Structure or Abscherkante and suitable for guiding the shearing edge of a tool marks for shearing the display pin is provided, wherein the mark is spaced about the maximum allowable value of the burnup of the switching contacts to the display surface or display edge.
  • the indicator pin is merely to be provided in such a way that it projects beyond the marking when the switch contacts are closed, so that it is closed when the switch contacts are closed then and only then projects beyond the display surface or display edge if the value of the burnup of the switching contacts is less than a predetermined maximum value. Then the indicator pin is to be sheared off at the marking.
  • a common tool such as a slot screwdriver can be used.
  • the low-voltage circuit breaker according to FIG. 1 has a housing 1 in which a switching contact arrangement consisting of a movable switching contact 2 and a stationary contact 3, an arc quenching chamber 4 and a drive mechanism 6 are accommodated.
  • the drive mechanism 6 serves to actuate the movable switching contact 2, which has a plurality of supported in a pivotable contact carrier 7 and arranged parallel to each other contact lever 8 (in the figure, only one contact lever is visible).
  • the contact lever 8 are pivotally mounted in a known manner by means of a hinge pin in the contact carrier 7 and biased by two contact force springs 9.
  • Flexible conductors 10 serve to connect the contact levers 8 to a lower connection rail 11.
  • the fixed switching contact 3 assigned to the movable switching contact 2 is connected to an upper connection rail 12.
  • the switching contacts 2, 3 are provided with contact pads 13, 14 (switching pieces) in the form of an attached body made of a highly specific material, which consist of sintered materials, the Ni, W and other special Metals contained. These are relatively expensive and are therefore applied in relatively thin layers. Since the contact pads 13, 14, which are still relatively thick in the new state of the switching contact arrangement, subject to material arcing at switching arcs, for example, a complete melting of the contact pads must be ensured. Therefore, a certain value of the burnup is specified as the maximum permissible value, wherein the switching contact arrangement for displaying the respectively existing value of the burnup comprises a display device 15. When mounting a new switch contact arrangement at the location of the operator of the electrical switch, it is desirable that the burn-up display can be set up without special tool to the predetermined value of the maximum allowable burnup.
  • the Abbrandan Attache according to the figure 2 a display pin 16 made of plastic, and extending in a first plane display surface 17 or display edge 18, wherein the display pin 16 with closed switch contacts 2, 3 on a designed as Abscher Chemistry 19 marking the switch contact arrangement to cut is.
  • This shearing surface 19 has a distance 20 to the display surface 17, whose value corresponds to the predetermined maximum value of the burnup.
  • the newly inserted indicator pin is supported on the one of the contact lever 8.
  • it has a collar 21 at its end facing the contact lever. This collar 21 engages in a pocket 22 of the contact lever.
  • the attacked by the indicator pin 16 contact force springs 9 is biased and holds the indicator pin such on the contact lever 8 that it follows the movement of the contact lever.
  • a bore 25 which extends through the contact carrier 7 and the display surface 17 forming a first side of a first recess 27 and the bottom 35 of the first recess 27 is open. This bore 25 serves to guide the indicator pin 16.
  • the first recess 27 has in the direction of displacement of the indicator pin 16 has a width whose value corresponds to the value of the distance 20 and thus the value of the maximum allowable burnup.
  • a newly provided indicator pin 16 projects beyond the first side of the second recess 30 serving as the shearing surface 19 when the switching contacts 2, 3 are closed (see also FIG.
  • a slot screwdriver 31 with its wedge-shaped end serving as shearing edge 32 is guided abruptly downwards on the shearing surface 19 in order to shave off the indicator pin 16.
  • the side surfaces 33, 34 (see FIG. 6) of the second recess 30 serve as guide surfaces for the screwdriver 31.
  • a section of the bore which is open toward the base 35 of the first recess 27 forms a support surface 36 for the indicator pin 16 during shearing.
  • the bottom 37 of the second recess is situated somewhat lower, so that a part 38 (see Figures 3 and 6) of the indicator pin 16 projecting beyond the shearing surface 19 can be completely sheared off.
  • This part 38 can also be cut off, filed or otherwise separated by other tools.
  • the display pin 16 ends after shearing in the plane of the shear surface 19 and thus indicates in the new state of the switching contact arrangement when viewing with respect to the display surface 17 exactly the value of the maximum allowable burnup.
  • the indicator pin 16 terminates in the plane of the display surface 17 and is therefore no longer visible to the viewer from above when the contact pads 13, 14 of the switch contacts 2, 3 are burned to the predetermined maximum allowable value and the switch contact arrangement are renewed got to.
