Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de revêtement, en particulier de peinture d'objets, notamment de carrosseries de véhicules constituées de plusieurs pièces (5, 6, 7, 8) séparées pouvant être assemblées. Les procédés antérieurs consistaient à peindre ces objets à l'état monté et à déplacer les pièces mobiles à l'aide d'un robot ou manuellement lors du processus de revêtement de sorte que toutes les surfaces à peindre puissent être atteintes. D'après le procédé selon l'invention, au moins une pièce (8) de l'objet est guidée à travers la cabine de revêtement (1) sur son propre patin (2') séparément des autres pièces (5, 6, 7). La matière de revêtement pour toutes les pièces (5, 6, 7, 8) allant ensemble provient de la même source d'alimentation de sorte que le revêtement soit identique sur toutes les pièces (5, 6, 7, 8). Les pièces (5, 6, 7, 8) allant ensemble sont espacées lors du processus de revêtement de telle manière que toutes les surfaces à peindre puissent être atteintes par les dispositifs d'application (9, 10) sans qu'il soit nécessaire de déplacer les objets. Ce procédé permet de réduire les dimensions de la cabine de revêtement (1) en longueur et en largeur.
