Description
The present invention relates to a device for lighting a barbecue, a fireplace and a fire in general.
The lighting of a fire is traditionally made using paper and especially small wood that is not easy to obtain and store for a city dweller. Today there are more practical products, easily flammable, in various forms: small solid rods, various liquids, gels, which require an implementation or dosage sometimes difficult to control and with which repeated ventilation of the fuel is necessary to get embers in a reasonable time. Other products, more natural, based on wood or sawdust are often associated with waxes or paraffins to facilitate their burning and, as some sticks or liquids or flammable gels, can give off an odor, combustion, little compatible with cooking food products.
The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. With reference to these drawings, the device is characterized in that it is purchased in ready-to-assemble and that it can be constituted by the user from a pre-cut and grooved flammable material plate (1) ( fig.1).
The device comprises a grill (2) in the form of a perforated hood, consisting of a pre-cut flammable material ribbon, and a finned burner (3) with a cross or star plane, with triangular profiles, pointed upwards, or all other profiles whose base is wider than the top; the burner (3) is centered in the core of the hood formed by the grid (2) (fig.5) and serves as a support, allowing the grid (2) not to be too deformed under the weight of the fuel.
The flammable material used for the manufacture of the precut plate (1), and used for the construction of the device, is a carton, compact and flexible, rich in wood fibers and natural resins, preferably produced from softwood. This cardboard does not contain toxic fillers, such as synthetic glues, because it is the resin that serves as a link between the wood fibers; Another advantage: this type of cardboard releases burning intense and prolonged heat and remains incandescent longer.
The grid (2) may have, in plan, any outlines and cutouts provided that its contours and cutouts form a ribbon and that ribbon, once developed vertically, forms a hollowed and perforated volume whose base is more wide than the top and filling the hood function. The grid (2) can therefore have a circular cutting plane (FIG. 1), elliptical, square, rectangular, cruciform, star-shaped or other and, when developed vertically, constitute a truncated cone (FIG. an elliptical cone frustum, a pyramid trunk, an elongated truncated pyramid, a cruciform or star-shaped pyramid trunk and any other volume with degrees, flared downwards, narrower upwards.
For one of the preferred embodiments, the grid (2) is initially a disc (fig.1 and fig 4) pre-cut in spiral or in concentric circles interconnected by a ribbon of material S (4), diagonally or otherwise, and which automatically forms a grid (2) shaped frustoconical openwork hood when the pre-cut disc (2), centered on the burner, is developed downwards, vertically, by the user (Fig 5).
The gate (2) has a central gap (5) in which fits the head (6) of the burner (3), this gap (5) tends to promote the drawing and evacuation of fumes during combustion.
For one of the preferred variants, the central gap (5) of the grid (2) comprises an articulated flap (7) resulting from the partial cutting of this gap and can straighten vertically before or during penetration of the head (6). ) of the burner (3) in the center of the grid (2) (fig.5). This articulated flap (7), if properly oriented, protects the ignition flame from the wind and also serves, when it is in flames or incandescent, to ignite the gases that would escape without burning; prevent the fire from choking and the board from burning too slowly.
The finned burner (3) consists of a single piece (fig.2 and 3), from the peripheral zone (3) (fig.1) of the pre-cut material plate (1); its inverted U- or V-shaped profiles and its cross or star shape are obtained by means of bending in the form of hollows or bumps along the diagonals and medians according to pre-existing grooves (8 and 9) (FIG. , 2 and 3) ..
According to another embodiment, the finned burner (3) consists of inverted U or V plates or flying buttresses or cross-shaped or star-shaped hoops, thanks to notches, in a male-female arrangement; these plates are drawn from the corners of the plate of flammable material precut.
La tête (6) du brûleur (3) comporte des entailles ou encoches (10) permettant l'arrimage en butée ou par encliquetage de la grille (2) au brûleur (3) après intrusion de la tête (6) du brûleur (3) dans la trouée centrale (5) de la grille (2).The head (6) of the burner (3) has notches or notches (10) allowing the lashing in abutment or snap-fastening of the grid (2) to the burner (3) after intrusion of the burner head (6) (3). ) in the central gap (5) of the grid (2).
The burner head (6) has one or more holes (11) in which one or more match heads can be housed for firing.
