Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the said support (26) of the said connecting element (16) is movable translationally relative to the said covering housing (12), and moves along the said recess (20) between at least two different stable positions of penetration into the said recess (20).

Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the said support (22) of the said connecting element (16) is movable rotationally relative to the said covering housing (12), and rotates in a plane parallel to the said plane bearing face (18) between at least two stable positions of different orientations relative to the said covering housing (12).

Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the said support (82) of the said connecting element (16) is movable relative to the said covering housing (12) along a curved guide (80) arranged in the said recess (20) in a plane parallel to the said plane bearing face (18), in order to move between a plurality of stable positions of different orientations relative to the said covering housing (12).

  10. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the said connecting element (16) is connected to the said connector (14) through an electronic unit (U) for processing at least one electrical signal coming from the said outlet socket (2).
  11. Device according to Claim 10, characterised in that it comprises at least one interface element (E) controlled by the said electronic unit (U) according to information contained in the said at least one electrical signal coming from the said outlet socket (2).
  12. Device according to either one of Claims 10 and 11, characterised in that the said electronic unit (U) comprises at least one module selected from:
    - a module for converting electric power;
    - a module for limiting electric power;
    - a module for filtering the noise in the said electrical signal;
    - a communication module;
    - a module for converting between different formats of electrical signals; or
    - a module for converting between different types of electrical signals.
  13. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 12, characterised in that it has a plurality of connectors (14; 106) electrically connected to the said connecting element (16).
  14. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the said outlet socket (2) is provided for connection to a telecommunication network.
  15. Device according to Claims 10, 13 and 14 taken together, characterised in that the said telecommunication network permits the transfer of a plurality of different information signals, and in that the said electronic unit (U) comprises a filtering module adapted to separate the different information signals so as to deliver each signal to a different connector of the plurality of connectors.
  16. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the said outlet socket is provided for connection to an electric energy transfer network for transferring at least one electric power signal.
