Abstract

An adaptor has a body 1 which is wider and longer than a conventional unit 4 so that a cavity at the rear 2 can be used to encase the wall socket 3 so as to make it invisible and so that the only unit showing would be the adaptor 1.

Description

SUPER PLUG This invention relates to a multiple sockett unit also known as an extension lead or a four, five or six way sockett.
Four, Five or six way socketts are made conventional from moulded plastic, in a box formation The cable which conects the unit to the wall mounted sockett for power comes out of the end of the unit and the cable comes in varying lengths. Once the plug is inserted into the wall sockett the cable is visible, sometimes the extension is wall mounted but the cable is still visible and the wall sockett is also visible.
The present extension socketts all come in various sizes and dinomoinations but none in corporate the wall sockett into the body or casing of the unit making the wall sockett invisible at the extension sockett taking its place as the only visible unit on the wall with no cables visible.
The super plug has a body 1 which is wider and longer than a conventional unit 4 so that the cavity at the rear 2 can be used to encase the wall sockett 3 so as to make it invisible and the only unit showing would be the superplug 1 fitted over wall sockett 3 so as to make a snug fit and make wall sockett 3 invisible.

Claims (1)

  1. CLAIMS The invention claims just the outside casing of the extension case 1 which has been widened and lengthened with a cavity at the rear 2 so that it can be placed over a single or double sockett 3 to hide it completely It would be fixed to the wall conventionacy the case would become the only unit visible on the wall with no cables showing. The case is big enough to be a four, five, or six way extension with room for a telephone connection and a power surge conector or any dinomination required.
    My claim is only on the shape and size of the modified casing so as to incorporate the wall power supply into the casing making it invisible with no cables showing. The cable will only be long enough to connect the wall sockett snuggly at the rear of the super plug making it invisible.
