Description

DOMAINE DE L'INVENTIONFIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to the field of flexible packaging, typically bags. These pouches are formed from monolayer or multilayer web materials, comprising all or part of plastic films.

Elle concerne les sachets à compartiments multiples. It concerns multi-compartment bags.

ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUESTATE OF THE ART

The concept of packaged products in multi-compartment sachets is already known.

Thus, there are already bags bound together, these bags forming an uncut strip forming a combination of bags, so as to group products "rosary".

Also known is a combination of standard bags with a removable clip, so as to artificially create two compartments, the clip being removed at the time of use of the products contained in the two bags to typically allow the mixing of these two products.

Flat bi-compartment bags are also known. Such sachets are composed of three films welded together thus creating two separate cells or compartments.

In addition, "Doypack" type sachets are known, sachets which comprise an attached bottom allowing a vertical station of the sachet. These bags, formed from plastic films, are manually torn at a first opening.

PROBLEMES POSESPROBLEMS POSED

On the one hand, there is an ever-increasing demand for "Doypack" type sachets, these bags being increasingly substituted for other types of traditional packaging, be they cans, cardboard boxes, etc., especially in view of their high mechanical characteristics and possibly their high barrier properties.

On the other hand, there is also an increasing demand for elaborate products, whether in the field of culinary arts or in other fields, in which case two or more components or constituents must often be separately conditioned. juxtaposition form of products, constituents that are to be used, or to mix, simultaneously when consuming the contents of the package. It can be for example several ingredients of a cooking recipe or a dessert.

There is therefore a need for Doypack®-type bags comprising several compartments. In addition, it is important that such bags are economical to manufacture.

DESCRIPTION DE L'INVENTIONDESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

L'invention a pour objet un sachet multicompartiments selon la revendication 1The subject of the invention is a multi-compartment bag according to claim 1

Said main bag may be typically of the "Doypack" ® type, and in this type of bag, said vertical station means may comprise a reinforcement forming an "A" shaped profile fold, said reinforcement being typically formed by a portion of folded reinforcing strip or by two portions of reinforcement strips secured by sealing. In this type of packaging, said reinforcement is folded when the bag is empty, so that the empty bag is flat and occupies a small volume or bulk. By cons, once the reinforcement deployed, especially under the action of the weight of the contents of the bag, the latter acquires a base or base which gives it a stable vertical station.

D'une manière générale, le sachet principal selon la présente invention est un sachet contenant le moyen de station verticale, de préférence du type "Doypack" ®.In general, the main bag according to the present invention is a bag containing the vertical station means, preferably of the "Doypack" ® type.

These means make it possible to form one or more compartments or complementary pockets, so as to be able to separate the products that should be separated before use, but that should instead meet or find together at the time of use of at least one of the packaged products.

The many advantages of the invention will appear in the following description and in the figures.

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE L'INVENTIONDETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

According to the invention, said secondary wall (3) may preferably be secured to said main bag (2) by at least one fastening edge (32) sealed to said main bag (2), so that said main bag (2,2 ') and said secondary compartment (30, 30A, 30A', 30A ", 30B, 30B ', 30C) have a common sealing range.
Indeed, it has been observed that a set of two sachets such as that represented on the figure 1 , and which does not include a common sealing range, had a vertical station less stable than that of the bags (1) which comprise a common sealing range and of which many modalities are illustrated in the figures.

Advantageously, said fastening edge (32) may be opposite to or correspond to at least one of said sealed edges of said main bag, typically one of the sealed side edges (21) of said main bag (2), so that said secondary wall (3) can be secured to said main bag (2) without an additional sealing step compared to those necessary to form said main bag (2).
Typically, said secondary compartment (30) may comprise two sealed lateral edges (34), said side edges (34) and said side edges (21) being typically facing or superimposed, so as to form said secondary compartment (30) without additional sealing step with respect to those necessary for forming said main bag (2). Thus, the main bags and the secondary compartment form an assembly secured to at least their common height, which tends to increase the strength, rigidity and vertical station of the assembly, as has been observed by the applicant.

Most often, said secondary orifice (31) can be typically close to said main orifice (22), said compartment (30) having a bottom, typically close to said lower end (24), comprising a bottom edge sealed to said main bag (2). ).
However, as shown on the figure 13 said secondary orifice (31) can be typically close to said lower end (24) of said main bag (2), said compartment (30) having a bottom, typically close to said upper end (23) of said main bag (2), comprising an upper rim (35) sealed to said main bag (2). This modality can advantageously be used to package solid articles or objects, for example leaflets, without risking seeing them damaged or soiled when filling the main bag or when consuming the main product (4A).

According to one embodiment of the invention, said secondary compartment (3) may be a compartment (30A, 30A ') comprising said secondary wall (3A, 3A') for one of its faces and one of said main side walls (20) for its other face.
This modality has been illustrated in particular on figures 3a , 4a , 9 , 12c and 13 .

According to another embodiment, said secondary compartment (3) may be a compartment (30B, 30B ') comprising two secondary side walls (3B, 3B'), formed either from a folded secondary film (7) with sealed lateral edges or from two secondary films (7, 7 ') with sealed bottom and side edges.
This modality has been illustrated in particular on Figures 2a, 2b , 2nd, 2d , 8a, and 8b .

According to another modality, said secondary compartment (30A, 30B) can be included in said main compartment (2), as illustrated in the Figures 2a , 2nd , 2d , 3a , 8a, 8b and 9 .

According to a variant of bag (1) illustrated on the figure 9 said secondary wall (3) may be a secondary wall (3A) forming a partition of said main bag (2) leading to the formation of two compartments (30A) and (20A), said upper edge (35) of said secondary wall ( 3A) forming a partition of said main filling orifice (22), a face of said upper edge facing an upper edge forming said main orifice (22 '), the other face of said upper edge facing the another upper edge forming said secondary orifice (31 ').
It may be advantageous for each face of said upper edge and said upper edge facing said face to comprise a lateral sealing zone (221, 310) contiguous with said side edges (34) or side edge (21), so as to facilitate the spacing between said upper edge and said upper edges and access audits audits main (22 ') and secondary (31') ports.

According to another variant of pouch (1), said secondary wall (3) may be a secondary wall (3B, 3B ') forming itself said secondary compartment (30B, 30B'), and in which the two main side walls (20) and the two side walls secondary members (3) are of different length, so that said main orifice (22) and said secondary orifice (31) are offset relative to each other, one being close to said upper end, another being located between said upper end and said lower end. Such an offset may in certain cases facilitate the filling of the main bag and the secondary compartment or compartments, and / or the consumption of the products contained in these bags or compartments.
This variant has been illustrated on Figures 8a and 8b .

According to another variant of sachet (1), and as illustrated on the Figures 2d and 2e said main bag (2) may not comprise a filling port (22), the upper edges (220) of said side walls (20) being sealed at the upper edges (35) of the two secondary walls (3C), and in wherein said main product is packaged in said secondary compartment (30), said upper edges (35) of said facing side walls (3C) forming said secondary port (31), said main bag forming an outer pocket (2 ') for said compartment forming an internal pocket or secondary compartment (30C). In this case, said main bag (2) may comprise a means for maintaining the vertical holding of said bag during the consumption of said main product, typically selected from: permanent vertical spring station means, an orifice (251) or a valve for inflating said main bag (2), so as to allow an air inlet as the volume of said secondary compartment decreases, which reduction can possibly take place without air intake, so to have a product packaging type "airless", which prevents the oxidation or contamination of sensitive products including oxygen.

According to another embodiment, said secondary compartment (30A ', 30B') may be external to said main compartment (2).
This modality has been illustrated on figures 2b , 3b (parentheses), 12a, 13 and 14. As shown on the figure 14 said secondary orifice (31) may be parallel to said lateral edge (21).

According to a variant of this modality, one of the side walls (20) may be a side wall (20A) forming a support for said secondary wall (3A ') and comprising a lateral orifice (200) providing communication between said main bag (2) and said secondary compartment (30A "), so that it can typically manually extract said main product (4A), said secondary compartment (30A") not including said secondary product, said secondary wall (3A ') temporarily occluding said lateral orifice ( 200), possibly sealingly.
In this case, said main product (4A) may typically be formed by a stack of typically flat, folded and interlaced products (40), a tip (41) of the product (40) above said stack passing through said side port (200), such that manual gripping of said tip (41) of a product results in separation of the product over said pile, and passage through said side port of one end of said next product into said stack.
The figure 4a is an illustration of this variant.

Advantageously, said main bag (2) may comprise a means of easy first opening (29), allowing the tearing of said main lateral walls (20), typically according to a predetermined tear line (29, 39), the main closure means ( 27) and secondary closure (37) typically being a sealing pad.

The invention is not limited to a particular means of easy first opening. Any known means can be used, whether it is a line of weakening, a line partially incised, in particular by laser, or a tear line oriented or channeled. This tear line may include a notch or notch (290) forming a primer for the first opening tear, which leads to the separation of an upper portion (291).
However, the opening of the main bag (2, 2 ') and / or that of the secondary compartment (30) may not require tearing of one end of the bag (1), especially in the case where the main closure means (27) and / or secondary closure (37) comprises / comprise a peelable seal layer, or optionally a layer releasable and resealable seal, one or the other, or any equivalent means, capable of forming said main (27) and / or secondary (37) closure means.

In the case where the main closing means (27) and secondary closing means (37) consist of a sealing range which requires tearing of the bag (1) during the first opening, and as illustrated for example on the Figures 2a, 2c , 2 F and 3c , said main bag and / or said secondary compartment may comprise / may comprise a temporary reclosing means (28) and / or (38), typically formed by a strip "Zip" or a cold pressure adhesive layer.

According to the invention, said main lateral walls (20, 20A) can be formed from monolayer or multilayer films, typically chosen from multilayer complexes based on PET, OPP, OPA, PE, PP, aluminum, or extruded films. based on PE, PP, PA, EVOH.
Similarly, said wall or said secondary wall (s) (3, 3A, 3A ', 3A ", 3B, 3B', 3C) may or may be chosen from a material capable of being sealed on a or on two sides depending on the type of compartment, and typically among: PE, PP, a multilayer material based on PE or PP or comprising PE or PP on its outer faces, optionally comprising a layer of barrier material, typically aluminum or EVOH.
Generally, the outer walls are formed of printed films

Quelle que soit la modalité ou variante de l'invention, ledit sachet principal (2) et/ou ledit compartiment secondaire (30, 30A, 30A', 30A", 30B, 30B', 30C) peut / peuvent comprendre un accessoire destiné à faciliter l'utilisation dudit sachet (1), typiquement un bouchon (5), comprenant éventuellement un bi-orifice (50) ou un mélangeur (51), comme illustré sur les figures 11 la à 11 d.Whatever the modality or variant of the invention, said main bag (2) and / or said secondary compartment (30, 30A, 30A ', 30A ", 30B, 30B', 30C) may / may comprise an accessory intended to facilitate the use of said bag (1), typically a plug (5), optionally comprising a bi-orifice (50) or a mixer (51), as illustrated on the figures 11 the to 11 d.

The sachets (1) according to the invention have a capacity ranging, for example, from 50 ml to 5000 ml, and typically from 100 ml to 2000 ml, the largest capacities being able to be used for the packaging of low density products. relative.

En général, la capacité du sachet principal est au moins égale à celle du ou des compartiments secondaire(s).In general, the capacity of the main bag is at least equal to that of the secondary compartment (s).

The figure 4b illustrates the structure of the upper end (23) of the bag (1). In the present case, the structure of this end does not comprise a tear line (29, 39), the product (4A) being extracted laterally and not by this upper end.

Modalité f selon les figures 8a et 8b :Modality f according to FIGS. 8a and 8b:

In these figures, the bag (1) has been shown open. In this bag (1), the main lateral walls (20), like the secondary walls (3B), are of different length, so that the main filling orifice (22) and the secondary filling orifice (31) are offset: the main orifice (22) being located lower than the secondary orifice (31) on the figure 8a , the figure 8b corresponding to the opposite situation. This bag structure can be interesting whether it is during the packaging of the products (4A, 4B) or during their consumption or use.

Modalité g selon la figure 9 :Modality g according to FIG. 9:

The figure 9 is a top view of a bag (1) with its open filling holes, in the case of a bag of the type shown in FIG. figure 3 a with a secondary wall (3A) contained in the main bag (2). In order to facilitate the separation of the upper edge (35) of the secondary wall (3A) of the two side walls (20A) to form the filling orifices, the secondary wall (3A) is secured to the side walls (20A), not only by sealing the side edges (21) and side edges (34), but also by side sealing between the upper end (26) of the main walls (20A) and the upper edge (35) of the secondary wall (3A ), noted portions (221) and (310) respectively of these upper ends and the upper edge (35) being heat sealed.
This heat-sealing may be carried out for example by means of a heat shield (9) as illustrated in a process shown in FIGS. Figures 10a, 10b and 15b , in which, the bags being oriented with the lateral and non-central opening as on
the figures 6b and 7b it is possible to introduce a heat shield laterally.

Modalité i selon les figures 12a à 12d:Modality i according to FIGS. 12a to 12d:

The figure 12a illustrates the case where the bag (1) comprises a main bag (2) and, on either side of this main bag (2), two secondary compartments (30A '), each of the side walls (20) of the main bag forming the inner wall of the secondary compartments.
The figure 12b is a side view of the upper end (23) of the bag showing a transverse tear line (29), typically initiated by a notch (290), so as to separate the upper portion (291) during the first opening.
The figure 12c schematically represents the end (23) after tearing the upper part (291), before the opening of the reclosing means (28) which is provided with the main orifice (22), while the figure 12d is analogous to the figure 12c but after separation of the walls and the two parts of the "Zip" or a means equivalent to the "Zip", for example two cold sealing and reclosable range.

Modalité i selon la fleure 13 :Modality i according to the pattern 13:

This modality is analogous to the previous one (modality i according to the figure 12a ), but differs in that the opening of the two secondary compartments (30A ') is close to the lower end (24) of the main bag (2), and not its upper end (23), as on the figure 12a .

Modalité k selon la figure 14 :Modality k according to Figure 14:

The figure 14 represents a bag (1), with a secondary wall (3A ') external to the main bag (2), as illustrated in FIG. figure 3a ), but with a secondary orifice (31) and a lateral secondary closure means (37) facing one of the lateral edges (21) of the main bag (2). The arrow with the mark (31) illustrates the filling direction of the secondary compartment (30A ') or access to its contents (4B), while the arrow with the marker (22), 90 ° from the previous one, illustrates the filling direction of the main bag (2) or access to its contents (4A).

Quelques exemples de fabrication de sachets (1) : Some examples of bag making (1) : Modalité a selon les figures 10a et 10b:Modality a according to FIGS. 10a and 10b:

In this mode, the secondary films (7, 7 'are folded films.
The Figures 10a to 10b are similar to figures 6b and 7b , but with a relative position of the secondary films (7, 7 ') and reinforcing tape (8, 8') inverted: the reinforcement strips (8, 8 ') are central in the production line (10) shown in FIGS. Figures 10a and 10b , while they are lateral on the figures 6b and 7b and reciprocally with regard to the secondary films (7, 7 '). The reinforcing strip comprises two distinct strips (8 and (8 ') on the figure 10a , while there is only one band (8) on the figure 10b , which strip is then cut longitudinally along the cutting line (110).

Modalité d' selon la figure 10c :Mode of according to Figure 10c:

In this case, the secondary film (7) is exterior.
In the figure 10c , the reinforcing strips (8, 8 ') are lateral, as on the figures 6b and 7b , the bag (1) obtained according to the process schematized by the figure 10c being similar to that of the figure 3a .

Modalité f selon les figures 6a et 6b :Modality f according to FIGS. 6a and 6b:

The Figure 6a and 6b , similar to Figures 5a and 5b , correspond to the manufacture of bags (1) of the type represented on the figure 8b .
In this case, a folded secondary film (7) is unwound between the main films (6) and (6 '). The weld zones comprise, in addition to the peripheral zones represented on the figure 5a cross-hatched areas intended to form the fastening edge (32). These transverse zones are typically formed using a heat shield or a non-sealing film (9), these zones being formed for example before the formation of the peripheral sealing zones, so as to be able to temporarily introduce / remove the screen (9). stacking the films (6, 6 ', 7, 8 or 8') to be heat sealed.
On the figure 6b the arrows represent the heat sealing zones and the movement of the sealing jaws.

Modalité f selon les figures 7a et 7b :Modality f according to FIGS. 7a and 7b:

In this variant of the previous embodiment, the folded secondary film (7) has been replaced by two films (7) and 7 ').

Autre modalité selon la figure 15b :Another modality according to Figure 15b:

This modality provides, as illustrated on the Figures 10a or 10b , that the reinforcing strip (8, 8 ') is central, so that, since the opening of the bags is typically oriented outwards, it is thus possible to introduce into the bag, if necessary, a heat shield ( 9), or to secure to the bag, by a lateral supply, any useful accessory.

AVANTAGES DE L'INVENTIONADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

The advantages of the bags (1) according to the invention are numerous:
  • on the one hand, they make it possible to obtain packages having a good vertical station, which was one of the aims of the invention,
  • on the other hand, they can be obtained without having to modify substantially the production rates of the standard "Doypack" bag manufacturing process, and by using the standard manufacturing devices, with minimal modifications,
  • in addition, the bags according to the invention allow, depending on the choice of the films forming the inner walls, to completely isolate the product (4A) contained in the main bag (2), the product (4B) contained in the secondary compartment (30), or, on the contrary, to allow a transfer of material between said main bag and said secondary compartment. The figure 4a illustrates an example of transfer of material, but it is also possible to have a secondary compartment (30) containing a product able to migrate in a controlled manner to the main bag (2), so as to keep the product (4A) contained in the main bag (2), a certain moisture content or any other product, despite repeated opening of said main bag,
  • moreover, the invention allows the manufacture of sachets (1) of "airless" type, much lighter and less bulky than "airless" type packaging known elsewhere,
  • finally, the invention opens the way to a wide variety of bags (1), so as to meet all kinds of needs by differentiating the particular bags according to these needs. In addition, the large number of modalities or variants of sachets (1) according to the invention also makes it possible to personalize the bags according to the customers.
